"Excuse me Willis." Liz stood to her feet and hurried after the man that had been hurt. She didnt have to look for him his pain called to her. She walked to the back if the cafe. She gently put her hand on his shoulder. "I can help you sir."
Lucifer didn't bother closing the door to the employee bathroom as he rushed to the sink; pain and the promise of cool water were the only things on his mind. Turning the knobs for the faucet proved to be a bit of a challenge with burned hands, but after a few frustrating moments, the efforts were met with the reward of slight relief, even if it was only to a small area at a time.
The feeling of a hand on his shoulder caused the male to flinch, despite how gentle it was. Looking over his shoulder, Lucifer was surprised to see the girl who had the cute smile from before, but gave her a slightly confused look at her offer. "Help? Oh!" He looked at his arms, then back over towards her again. "I'm sure it's fine, Miss. There's really no need to worry."
As much as he wanted this kind person to believe that, though, he knew that the attempted smile was shaky, and the lie was a very thin cover at best. Still, it wasn't exactly easy to keep a straight faced lie in this situation; his skin still stung like crazy, and he hadn't even done much about the burn on his chest yet.
