Again, it feels like he's just trying to make a Mary Sue. The wand makes more sense now, but Eucalyptus wood is still super rare, as are his talents as an Animagus AND his talents as a Metamorphmagus.

Basically, he has a silly amount of rare, powerful skills that make his character abnormally special. That just isn't cool.

Oh just let it go.. honestly. Let him do what he wants. He talked to the GM- and it's apparent that they accepted him, so just quit. It's not going to harm your character who if is SO grand and SO smart shouldn't even pay any attention to him anyways right? Nor is he going to overuse the powers or act any different than anyone else who joined this roleplay- so just bite your tongue for once.

I really didn't want to put the GM on the spot, but they sorta asked me to look over his CS and post my opinions. I apologize if the GM didn't want this known, but I don't appreciate being attacked for helping out.

EDIT: I like the character, Verifyin, although I'm not familiar with the qualities of Behemoth horn gratings. Reminds me a little of Harry Potter at first, but not after reading his history~!

I'm not talking shit or attacking you, I'm telling you to stop attacking Soren in particular. You've caused trouble multiple times, and I'm not going to keep that hidden behind PM walls, when I'm simply stating what I think just as YOU have. You're right there isn't supposed to be drama in the OOC, so stop causing it.

If the GM wanted you to comment; then why don't you take your own advice and pm the GM or Soren if you felt so inclined to nit pick everything. Good grief.

Oh, the horn gratings? I just put that in since the other characters had phoenixes, dragons, and unicorns, so might as well. I don't know what their properties are either.

I like your character A LOT. Are you Thai? I'm mixed with Thai! (Italian & Thai to be exact) That is pretty awesome- I enjoyed reading your character sheet- and also happy to see another hufflepuff c: woop woop!

Are you not familiar with the HP universe? If that's so, I'd be happy to give you a crash course sometime.

Phoenix Tail Feather, Dragon Heartstring and Unicorn Tail Hair are the three main wand cores used in Britain. They're magical materials that are stable and effective, which is why they're so popular with the most famous wandmaker in the region, Ollivander.

I was asked to post it in the thread. I'm not "nit picking", I'm reviewing characters, it's something that happens in roleplays. It just happens that Soren's character needs more work than others, and I'm perfectly willing to help him if he wants, or discuss his character's flaws and work out potential changes if he'd like.

I'm not causing trouble, and I'm not attacking anybody individually. That's you, dear~!

Oh, no, I'm not Thai. I'm Indonesian, but I've been wanting to have a Thai wizard. I actually made his half-brother in another RP and, to be honest, I think his half-brother has the more interesting story.

I'll definitely take a look at that link and make some changes.

Thats the whole debacle though- this is supposed to be a fun slice of life rp. Practically no one sticks to their exact CS when they roleplay- I know I try to keep a touched base with mine; but things will change and things will grow. It's supposed to do that- in my opinion. That is the fun in a roleplay; socializing with other people's creations so that your creation finds life and life isn't cookie cutter.

Soren's CS might not have been up to par for people- but the fact that they CHANGED their entire cs after being asked; and wants to participate- says alot more about them than people who already gave up in the role play. Either way I just want to have fun- if it was up to me, I'd say fuck all of this stuff, and everyone start off vanilla and whoever lasts more than the RPG 'one week' of usual loyalty gets to find powers and become more than just a blank slate. These people are 11 year olds for goodness sake, let them think and do what they want- it's not until we hit the IC that anything on the CS matters anyways.

Aww, alright (: that's really cool though- I have an old friend from that part of the world. Very rich culture. I don't think you need to make any changes- but I thought the descriptions and meanings behind things were interesting none the less.

I think that the made-up behemoth should be fine, even if it would be a bit abnormal. You should probably think of some simple magical properties associated with it, though, in case such a subject ever comes up. My first thoughts would be that it might be stubborn, but all-rounded and a little better at outdoorsy activities. That's just me, though~!

Alright. I changed my wood and core. Well, not for Roze, because I changed my wood before you saw it.

I made a simple post to introduce Charlotte. If somebody would like, we can have another character show up at her compartment at the precise moment she finishes putting her luggage away. If not, I can always just have her sit alone for the duration of her trip, or perhaps interact with somebody during the journey.

I apologize for the poor post format, I'm not really all that good at opening posts. If anybody has any problems with how I started things out, feel free to voice those concerns~!
