Mankind has evolved into a race that has embraced the wonders of technology and so utilizes its functions to better humanity as a whole. Humans have evolved minor powers/psychic abilities at this point due to natural evolution and thus use their newfound powers freely.

Wars between countries have promptly ended in the last decade or so, and the world is controlled by the Yggdrasil Unit: a collective governmental faction consisting of major leaders from all over the world.

The Yggdrasil Unit serves as not only the only leading force behind the world’s politics, but also the largest databank of information as well, or the largest library in existence. Soon, theorists predict that even interdimensional travel to other planes of existence might soon be possible in the next eon or so. Plenty of time for the human race to thrive and expand their growth towards the stars.

But this story, however, focuses on the actions of only a select number of individuals.

For although the Yggdrasil Unit is supreme in its ruling and influence throughout the world, there are still those who challenge this ever-present reign. One such being is a mysterious man labeled simply as Silencer, or the Corpse Collector. There are rumors that question his very existence, and no records are present of his past or where he came from within the Yggdrasil Unit.

All that anyone knows is that he showed up one day in a random city of choice and soon began assassinating select targets. However, these people were not business leaders or even governmental officials. These people were as randomly chosen as Silencer’s next location.

And how do you get involved in all this? Through chances of fate, you find your serene life in Genesis City shattered when Silencer begins his latest hunting ground inside the massive metropolis. But he's not alone. Someone else has showed up in Genesis City. Someone that wants the Corpse Collector silenced.

Age: 22
History: Ruby was born to a single mother who was a prostitute. In her early years, Ruby spent a fair amount of time outdoors, as well as an almost equal amount of time indoors. As she grew older, but still very young, she learned what her mother was, and how bad it was to be a prostitute. So, Ruby immediately decided that she was going to study hard, and not become someone like her mother.

At the age of twelve, Ruby found out who her father was, and immediately contacted him and asked to move in. Little did she know that discovering who her father was would impact her later in her life. A week after she had moved in with her father, she discovered that he was actually a wanted drug dealer, and made sure that she made as little contact with her father as possible. She began to study a career in the law enforcement.

At the age of twenty one, Ruby joined the law enforcement without her father knowing. She purchased her own home, and lived there alone. One night, she began to think about her mother and her father. They were criminals, but they were her parents. It was her duty to arrest them, but could she arrest her own parents? Another night passed, and then another, and then a week. All of her free time was spent thinking about the matter, and then she finally made a choice.

A few nights later, Ruby's mother was in a cell at the station, as was her father. Ruby herself was crying, as she, with four other officers, one of whom had been shot by her father in 'self defense', were the ones that had done both of the arrests. Her boyfriend, who was another officer, was beside her at her desk as tears barely missed the paperwork in front of her. The paperwork took fifteen minutes to fill out -which felt like days to Rose- and then she was given a two day paid leave. The two days were spent in tears.

For another half year, a quarter of the days were spent in upset and sadness for what she had done, however she always saved the tears until she knew she was alone. She continues to serve as a police officer.

Personality: Ruby is very shy, and quite easily hurt. However, this does not stop her from becoming angry and frustrated at things. Ruby tries to keep herself calm as possible at all times, but being a police officer, it is often hard because of all of the criminals that she has to arrest on a daily basis. Even if she does lose herself, she will try and remain focused on the task at hand. However, in a normal state of mind, Ruby can be very kind and supportive. She has several hobbies, including playing video games and listening to music.

Weapon: A black rod a little larger than a dagger that is collapsible to look like a simple, harmless tool that is easily concealed. The rod can be electrified, and can carry three bullets that can be superheated by a current of electricity, or just contain enough electricity to stun someone (if the bullet doesn't cripple the intended target). Ruby carries the weapon for self defense.

History:
Danelle Walker’s life was relatively simple and carefree. Go to school, learn about the Yggdrasil Unit, come home, eat dinner, go to sleep, and repeat. Her parents having passed on from sickness and poor health, Danelle was placed in the care of her much older sister for a majority of her early life.

However, all notions of a happy ending were soon tarnished as the mysterious being known as Silencer the Corpse Collector soon turned her home city into one of his random hunting grounds. Having no method to his assassinations, Danelle’s sister became the unfortunate result of a night’s good hunt.

Having no remorse or caring for his actions, Silencer fled the city but in turn made an enemy. Danelle soon took up a beamed blade and gave herself the task of not only avenging the cruel death of her sister but also the mission of destroying the Corpse Collector forever.

With no bonds left to severe, she is quite literally a woman who is willing to go to massive extremes in order to see her target dead.

Personality:
Danelle is calm, cool, and usually off in her own little world internally. Spending a life hunting down an enigmatic being who quite possibly doesn’t even exist has made her reclusive towards others and suspicious of social contact.

She can appear cold and calculating at first, but if one takes the time to understand her ambition they just might discover a silent passion and yearning for her old life. Even so, she insists that people not dwell on the past despite her contradictory actions on the matter as a whole.

Danelle obviously possesses a deep hatred for Silencer the Corpse Collector, and will not hesitate to strike anyone down in an icy rage if she has suspect of his influence.

Weapon:
The purple beam sword Danelle carries around is a nameless one that once belonged to her older sister. The weapon is a prototype to the now modern used beam blades used in combat by the Yggdrasil Unit. Despite its age though, the weapon has proven to be quite useful with its blade being entirely composed of plasma placed in a dormant, static state. One the blade makes contact with other objects, the plasma then becomes ruptured and erratic, either slicing away or deflecting oncoming attacks.

Danelle also carries a standard black handgun that fires off electrical bullets.

Abilities:
Danelle has slight psychic abilities, though it is very limited to what she can do. Unlike others who can fully move solid objects with their mind or even create new fabrications of matter and energy, all that Danelle can do is simply redirect the force and direction of obstacles coming forward to her. That is to say, she can very slightly move objects just enough to avoid being hit directly.

Over the years, she has fine tuned and honed this power, using it in deadly applications during combat situations. By adjusting the trajectory of objects coming towards her, she has become an expert dodger as well as riskily deflecting bullets with her blade; she does so by curving the bullets away from her body.

Also carries a standard black handgun that fires off electrical bullets.

Other: Apparently she likes salty foods, especially fish.

History:
No one quite knows when or how Silencer came to be. Most people in this world aren’t even aware of his existence. However, the damage he has caused since his first appearance is too real for any skeptical.

Silencer appears to work under no methodology or sense of order. All things about him are strange and peculiar; from his random picking of hunting grounds and targets to eliminate to even how he handles threats.

Because of a past hunt that resulted in tragic circumstance, Silencer is hunted down by a girl named Danelle Walker and has even clashed with the female on numerous occasions. Now he has been reported within Genesis City with a new batch of targets.

His first prey: Ruby Atlanta

Personality:
Silencer is a man of no words, and the assassin is reported to remain silent in the face of any situation. He leaves no parting words or verbal clues to either his victims or those unlucky enough to challenge him. On the rare occasion that he does speak, it is because he finds great interest in the target.

Still, actions speak louder than words. Silencer’s killing methods are cold and methodical, reflecting off of his indifference towards human life. When speaking, he talks in a highly objective manner; his manner of speech and lack of empathy is almost like a robot or a wandering phantom.

Weapon:
Silencer carries with him a wide variety of firearms that are usually illegally obtained. These include rifles, chemically-powered flamethrowers, and a mechanical blade that can fold in on itself.

Silencer’s main weapon is a hefty revolver called the Death Penalty. The gun possesses four massive barrels as well as high caliber bullets strong enough to withstand and penetrate the surface of some common star ships.

The Corpse Collector often relies on his Death Penalty and blade for main usage in combat situations.

Abilities:
Like most beings, Silencer has slight psychic control over the environment around him. Reportedly, he has only been able to use it on the bullets of his Death Penalty; by manipulating the force of motion, Silencer can direct the bullets and guide them towards his intended target without the use of fully aiming. As such, the Death Penalty has been aptly nicknamed “The Gun Which Never Misses”.

Furthermore, he seems to have an uncanny habit of teleporting short distances and even phasing his body; while this does not make it impossible to hit him directly, it does make it easier for him to avoid attacks to an extent.

Other: Some speculation has arisen about Silencer’s true persona and identity. From a skilled terrorist, to a laid off employee of the Yggdrasil Unit, to even being a derange cyborg, the conspiracy theories are endless, making Silencer somewhat of an urban legend.

Age: 23

History: A 'Child of the Streets', through and through - a title bestowed only to the unfortunate and pitiful remnants of society that was abandoned in dark alleyways and abysmal undergrounds - Kevin Sinnet is a typical gangster living within the more reckless side of the underworld. From thieving to turf wars, the man had meddled enough to stain his hand black with the deeds of the crooked.

His backstory is not much of an exciting one. Bastard to a middle-class business man and his mistress, his childhood consisted of negligence and poverty as the boy tried his hardest to fit into the norms of society. When that didn't work out due to the disintegrating relationship with his mother and the nonexistent connection with his father, Kevin simply left. It was out there in the streets that Kevin knew the true meaning to his life - to survive. It was as simple as that.

So within the following years, the boy adapted quickly to the criminal underworld. He joined a gang who called themselves the Behemoth; the largest and one of the most powerful within the underground. He quickly rose in ranks to the point where he commanded a squad of his own within the massive horde. A small of group of men, sure, but still his own. They called themselves the Guilty Kings. It could be said that the man had made quite a living, considering he had absolutely nothing to begin with. And Kevin was quite content with that. He wished of nothing more, and nothing less.

Then came along the Silencer, his scythe eager for the blood of Genesis City, and ruined everything.

Personality: Despite being a thug, the man is quite humorous and radiates a certain charm that makes him likable. Though his actions may be vulgar, he also knows his ways around etiquette and mannerisms, making him socially charismatic. This is a very great asset, as it makes him a great liar.

Kevin is reckless by nature due to his strong sense of pride. Unlike other people within the criminal underworld, he has a strong sense of loyalty to his gang, especially his own men as they are to him and each other. He will not hesitate to leap into the fray to help them - his friends - if they are in need.

Kevin Sinnet is also flirtatious, but in a light and teasing manner. He's a romantic at heart, and hopes to one day find a wife just as crooked and dirty as he is.

Weapon: His fists, a hidden dagger he has concealed, and whatever he can find at the time. He knows his way around various firearms as well, and is considerable with other melee-type weapons.

Abilities: A short-range 'blink' that allows him to move from one place to another instantaneously. Currently, he is only limited to five feet. Because of this, he is known as one of the most aggressive fighters within Behemoth, as his ability allow him to pummel his opponents without them laying so much as a kiss on his ass cheek.

Other: He loves sour candy.

There! Hope you guys like him, and are ok with him. Seems like Ruby may have trouble considering there are so many hooligans running around. :p But yeah, just know that he's not some super-aggressive, super-violent, bad-ass type of guy. He'll change as his life intertwines and progresses with both of your characters and the Silencer himself.
