Space-Rose-Galaxyia: A sci-fi/fantasy soap-opera.

Sort of throwing together ideas that come to mind, but would like to know if anyone would bother to put up with it.

A sort of civil struggle is happening between two of the larger colonies in the Petal district. Thorn and Crimson, the two largest stations created in conjunction with humans. Trade relations between the two have broken up due to missing shipments and pointed fingers. A bitter chord is struck between the two and inter-stellar war is on everyone's minds.
If this all wasn't enough to start some long bloody scene, a new group has appeared in Thorn, preaching about "The rose mother" and how she is coming to save all who take her pact. They are spreading and seeming to ignore all previously held rules, sneaking across zone barriers and taking what is not theirs, all for their :holy:" cause.

It's only a matter of time until something is official, and all the scuffles happening across Petal are justified.

It's up to you if you want to be a simple traveling merchant, trading goods from place to place, or.

If you want to be a high ranking general, who is out to start a war and finally put his ships to use.

Shady government policies, space pirates, false goddesses and much more, if you only so wish it to happen.

Yo, just wanted to say I'm interested in this. I do want to ask, are there creatures other than humans running around in this? Also some more info on the Petal District if you will (It's cool if that's all you got, was just curious).

Thats why I said "in conjunction with humans" trying to imply they had help.

I'm interested. Your mention of false goddesses made me think of an android character I've been working on for months, originally rejected from another (failed) sci-fi RP for being overpowered. I've never had responses from PMs so I don't know if they work. I'd like to hear more about what you have planned.

I wouldn't mind talking about that character (or something of the like being if you want to save them for late) being played by you, and effecting some BIG arcs.

I'm not sure if it's what you'd be interested in, as the character isn't a goddess himself. But as a psychotic omnicidal clergyman of his own twisted religion, he could be changed to suit the scenario. Here's a summary from my notes.

Appearance: He stands five feet tall, small of frame but with a stern gaze and certainty of movement that speaks to the religious fervor he holds deep in his metal heart. He is garbed in a heavy black cloak with glowing, pale blue trim that matches his eyes and the electric twin lines that run down from somewhere on his scalp, bisecting his eyes, to his neck and disappear into the blue clerical collar towards his chest. He wears thin black gloves on his long fingers and lightweight black boots on his feet. His pale skin shimmers slightly, and his dark hair is artificial but messy, pushed back half-heartedly.

Name: T-301 / "Brother Boom"

Gender: Male

Age: Over a century, looks 30.

Race: Military Android, Human-Built

(Not So) Brief History: Some hundred years ago, a faction of humanity consisting of military scientists and explorers settled on the untamed planet Aeos in the far western arm of the galaxy. They brought a legion of decommissioned, memory-wiped war droids with them, intending to use them as service units to do the jobs that were too difficult or dangerous for those of flesh and bone. T-301 was one of them. He was sent deep into the planet alone; the intent was to have him explore the core and capture its energy to someday utilize it to power electronics worldwide. Some say he found something that drove him insane. Others say it was a mistake to shoulder a military droid with that much responsibility. Regardless, he reemerged babbling of a great goddess at the center of the world, a being of unfathomable intent that sought to ignite the universe in flames. Referring to her as the Goddess of Annihilation and the Lady of Shrapnel, T-301 rechristened himself Brother Boom, the first and only member of the Church of the Holy Blast Radius.

Though it was planned to shut him down before any electronic infection spread, Boom escaped and fled to his "church," an absolutely massive, heavily fortified stone and steel cathedral surrounded by smoking craters and extreme radiation several miles in every direction. Built directly over the tunnel to the heart of the planet, it was instrumental in helping the insane droid carry out his goddess' plans...

I can change things to fit the story better, like planets and histories and goddesses and such. Sorry to dump all this here, but like I said I don't know if PMs work.

He is SUPER interesting.

He wouldn't be from the main planets or colonies obviously, but he could be maverick who gets involved deeply from nearby.

If you do want to use him, I hope you do (if of course, enough people care about this RP)
