Try as I may, I just couldn't get into Bravely Default, and I dropped it at my first playthrough and just went back to playing MGS3 on my DS. But also, I have more of a fixation to western RPGs than I do JRPGs, aside from Tales of Symphonia. And I will agree, the story is just meh compared to most games I've played that actually draw me in more with their story than gameplay *coughsilenthill2andspecopsthelinecough* And really I just have a disposition to any turn based or strategy style combat. I'm more of the jump in and hack the living hell out of them kind of guy. Probably explains why I got barmitzvah'd everytime I played Assholes Dark Souls, but even when I had a good strategy, the game just looked at me and said "Fuck you Rusalka. So you got past the Taurus Demon. Now here's some undeads and a Black Knight to gangbang you."

But my point being, I only like games that have something that appeals to me like a good story or innovative and exciting gameplay. Bravely Default for me had neither, and so it is back at the Gamestop where I traded it in for Shinobi.....WHICH IS ALSO FOR HARDCORE JOHNNIES!!! DX

I play all sorts depending on my mood. Tun base for more relaxing, hack and slash fora stress reliever, though i prefer a story. So I usually enjoy a jrpg or two. As long as I enjoy the story and characters, ill almost play anything. Even shooters or puzzles which are my two least favorite because i suck at them. ^^

Aah, right. Yours is good, too. Better than I could draw, anyway. Two things have been bugging me about it, though. I remember you showed us this piece before. Something about the eye strikes me as... odd. My first impression is that it's positively huge, and the pupil is teeny tiny. The torso also seems... off. Specifically, I think it's the way the shirt sits. Something's weird about it, but I can't place it.

Like I said, though, it's still really good. :3

Eh, I'm not that good an artist, and I still have a looong way to go, so yeah. XD Thank you for the advice though. I think my biggest problems right now are that I cannot draw heads or eyes to a consistent size, and I keep screwing up bodily proportions. Also when I'm left alone to do pupils I always seem to make them slitted and catlike for some reason. But at least it's better than I was this time last year, I guess.
