Hogwarts 2014?

I was hoping that I could start up a Harry Potter based RP. Nothing more, and nothing less. Of course the rules and everything would still be the same, and just students continuing their usual lives as Hogwarts students. Since He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is gone, maybe there can be a new threat. That or there isn't really much conflict, just romance and drama and all of that other stuff.....

The rules would be pretty simple.

1. No god modding, Mary sues, etc.
2. Even if it is 2014, you still cannot bring any Muggle tech inside. You just simply cannot. Any device of the sort act funny around Hogwarts grounds.
3. Have fun, but still keep it PG-13 on the IC.

I could see you general public still being a bit in the dark but governments they'd be the true trouble with their covert teams and syp gear that most wizards wouldn't even know if they saw it

I might mention that in one of the books Harry's aunt mentions that her muggle family was so proud to find out that they had a witch in the family
I'd take that as a hint their existence isn't that secret

If you're talking about the first book, which is the only book I can recall her saying this, I don't think that's what she meant....

It was mentioned in the Goblet of Fire, and it's in Massachusetts. So would there be a rivalry between all of the schools or we just pick one?
