Second, It's funny cause that's not what I said at all, the basic just mean's like the basic's of a Jedi padawan are you won't be that skilled in the force and have a basic lightsaber (which you tried not to have) other then that freaking make the most different character you can imagine though there are still the basics in every CS.

Here. I have a question:

How many of those on that list are padawans? I mean, I see few who aren't masters, but I doubt that any of ther had their crazy sabers when they were still noobs.

Yoda would have used a Shoto as a Padawan. He uses it becaue of his small size.

Making an interesting character doesn't mean giving him cool stuff (special lightsaber, force powers, appearance, etc). It's all about the character's personality, back story, and development.

@Revan's exile: You are a Jedi Padawan, not a Jedi Knight or up like all of those you mentioned, you're not getting a special light whip. Also, I meant that you can have customizations but within reason. If you can't handle that or understand basic instructions, I can't help you.

@Roxx: Uh, 12-18 is I think the normal range. If this lasts long or time skips often, then you guys won't really be padawans anymore. More senior padawans will be older, but different ages have different mindsets. Anything younger will be youngling range.

@knighthawk: I actually thought you were joking, that's how out it was. The design you had is more for more advanced tech able jedi or something, not a padawan. Also, Jawa culture, behavior, etc is in no way fit for a padawan. The design might be fine if applied later into the rp.

We have 6 if Roxx and knight are still in, I will probably start now unless you guys want more. Remember, too crowded rps are only fun in certain cases.

A shoto saber I could except if they were a very short person, and maybe a double-blade if they had experience with double-bladed weapons, but the other types are too complex for a padawan.

Sweet. Glad this all worked out. In the mean time I think we should keep one of Darth Traya's lessons in mind. On the subject of lightsabers.

About the saber: Not a problem, to know it is possible gives me hope and I will gear him in that line of thought as he develops.
About jawas: In the NJO no one was turned away in an effort to breed acceptance and understanding as well as keep those from being ignored to turn to the dark side, everyone brings a new point of view to the fold.

I always thought it was an interesting dichotomy, they speak against attachment but then tell them that their lightsaber is their life.
