This shit fucking pisses me off. I guess fuck all the authors and story writers. The freaking Temple was destroyed after Order 66, quarantined, and declared a no-fly zone off limits to anyone. The Force Unleashed clearly shows the temple in ruins also Imperial Palace is NOT the Old Temple.... IT WAS THE LARGEST PALACE EVER BUILT a grand palace that makes the wizard of Oz look like a weak ass. I'm pretty sure it was visible from orbit.... anyways that shit pisses me off...

I have not read Tarkin, though its on my list of books to read. I would love to send an angry letter to that author.

It's nu canon and they're setting stuff up for Episode 7. That is what you gotta realise at the time that all the old books were written from the Thrawn Trilogy to Cruicible there was going to be no episode seven. So when selling LucasArts George Lucas wrote episode 7 to make the company more valuable.

The problem was all the original actors were old and if you followed Legends(New name for EU) then you would have missed out lots of plot. You would likely be somewhere near the events of Darth Caedus or later and those events all link together with the Yuuzhan Vong war, the Dark Nest crisis and even the thrawn trilogy. That is why they decided to cast it all as Legends/Non-canon. If you actually read theres a nice paragraph where it explains why Palps is using the old Jedi Temple as the Palace and I think it's pretty good.

Also don't get me started on Force Unleashed.... Starkiller suffers from a serious case of "Lol game character".

Because it makes sense. I'd rather they made new stories than skipped a tonne of my favourite ones and tried to reference them all the time.

Besides, it coulda been worse. They could have stopped publishing all the old material trying to get rid of it all together, it's really no different than the Star Trek Franchise and how they got rid of all the content from the TV shows by going "lol time travel" except I prefer it this way in all honesty.

It could be worse, they could be rebooting the entire franchise... and it could be micheal bay.

Well Zeroes never said if it was NuCanon or not anyway I was merely stating as at the start of the NJO anyway a temple does exist on coruscant.

Indeed, he didn't actually take up residence till post-Yuuzhan Vong war cause the Old Temple then was definitely destroyed.

Dayum, Battle of Corsucant(NJO) is definitely my favourite.

If that's what he wants I suggest we forget about the Temple anyways since the Academy was moved to Ossus after the war.

If you want- I'd like to think that I didn't waste my time creating those characters. If you couldn't tell, I put a decent amount of effort into them... >:

EDIT: I wouldn't mind a change in scenery either- I'm not particularly fond of NJO. Though, this would also mean changing my characters substantially, which would be a massive pain... Your call though.

Do you want to keep it NJO? I only read the EU ones, not the new Disney thing.

I'm kind of partial to the Old Republic myself, especially if this is going to be a fighting RP. If it's a more character development/psychological then NJO is good.
