Welcome back to Kalos Region, ladies and gentlemen. It's been a solid five years since the whole crisis with Team Flare came and went, and the esteemed Professor Sycamore has moved on to other regions to further his research into Mega Evolution. So who, just who, would take over his research? Meet Professor Apple, a Unova-born genius who shared Sycamore's interest in Pokemon evolution. She's gathered up five young would-be Trainers from across the Kalos Region via mail, explaining her interest in Pokemon research and how her studies mostly have her tied down in Lumiose City. Naturally, they accepted. The appointed quintet is to meet up at Aquacorde City, where they are to finally meet Professor Apple in person and receive their first Pokemon.
The time has finally come. Five young aspiring Trainers-to-be have gathered at Aquacorde Town, where Professor Apple is waiting for them.

Alright, so basically, this RP happened once before, died, and now at the continual urging of two of the players in the last one, I'm doing it again. That said, this was meant for a group of four RPers (I know the above says five, but bear with me here), so I'll only be needing one other player to fill the last role. Not necessarily first-come first-serve, more like "first-come-and-my-gut-feelings-say-you'll-be-good-for-the-job, first-serve"
So now I have this thread here, to scout out that potential fourth player. Now, a couple little warnings before you say "Hey, pick me!" Expect this RP to move slowly. The three of us currently in tend to procrastinate on our posts, so IC speed tends to be pretty damn slow. If a slow IC isn't your cup of tea, turn around right now. Right now. We three also don't appreciate RP teams that are built for the sake of being competitive, so if you have trouble building themed teams instead of competitive ones, this RP is probably not one for you.
Now, with all that out the way, who here is interested?
