Illumi rolled his eyes. "What is his definition of friendship?"

"Knowledge." Katherin struggled to find the words her father used to describe friendship. You know each others favorite colors , foods, birthday. You have jokes no one else understands. You talk whenever you get a chance about nothing and enjoy it."

Austin smiled," I've learned how to speak well... Cat. It's mostly body movements with a few sounds. Of chourse, it's nearly programmed into me how to communicate... But anyways, I thought Mandarin was the hardest language to learn? And don't some schools teach that in their classes?" He wasn't sure, seeing as he had never been to a human school after all.

"Yeah cause we aren't speaking on of the most difficult languages in any case"
Connor said with a laugh,, "you never really thinknof it, but English is a difficult language. I know six languages. It would be nice to add another"

"What makes you think you can't do that stuff with someone here?" he asked.

Kyra smiled. "I have never been to American schools except for this one. I was born and raised in Japan...So I wouldn't know..." she said. She turned to Connor. "You know, you remind me so much of my brother."

"I didn't say I couldn't do it. I said that I haven't done it. My dad is a people person I am not. He would know most of that stuff about atleast one person by then end of day one. I barely have a few names." Katherin knew she was probably blowing things out of porportion. It was important to her to make her dad proud of her.

"How so?" Connor asked "does he like inside and playing games and building things too?"

Illumi smiled and nodded. "Okay"

Kyra shook her head. "Like you, he has acquired his father's brains..." she said.

"It's not ok." Katherin glared then signed. " I'm being ridiculous aren't I?"

"I think my father might have disowned me of I didn't" Connor said with a laugh

Illumi smiled and patted her cheek gently with the tips of his fingers. "Yes you are..."

Kyra smirked. "Wow"

Shrugs slightly , listening to their conversation then grinned slightly," the point is, I think we are ready to learn it." He grinned, rubbing his palms together in eagerness, and want to learn. He liked things he could actually use. One reason he didn't like history is because he couldn't really use it.

"A joke. I think he's just glad I do like to build things" Connor said, then shrugged "another reason I like learning languages-useful and it's easier to get things from other countries of you know their language"

Kyra smirked. "So.. you guys sure about learning this? I don't want to make you do something you don't want to..." she said.

And so she heard, and went to the class. Despondent was not the right word, but so wasn't trepidation. She was anxious to see how her time with Mimic would play out. She wasn't fight-ready, but she sure was ready for some action. She had something in mind.

Phoebe sighed, gathered her things and followed after Sue. "You'll be fine" she said to her, shrugging her pack on.

Ben shrugs as he stands up, "First of all, I understand his reasons for his behavior. Secondly, he basically just pushed a guy. It's not really a big deal." Ben throws away his trash, then returns to the table and asks, "you two coming?"

Anthony rises and tells Aver'i, "You're going to love the next teacher. His methods are rather...unique." He nods to the other two students and leaves them behind as he walks to Mimic's class.

Kijani went a little blank at the announcement. Being back in Mimic's class after yesterday's behavior was going to be hard. Hopefully something else would happen and the others would forget all about her. Until then...

"I'll catch up with you guys." She smiled, hoping the others wouldn't see her falseness. As soon as the cafeteria emptied out, she was going to go somewhere else. Maybe the library. Maybe not. Anywhere but back to the scene of her failure.
