[IC] The Pyramid

One of her fingers glow and she swipes it over the cut she just received. It didn't completely heal, but was sealed up and on well on its way. Getting back to her feet EVE looked at Tanikazi. Her expression was finally looking less cold, more curious now. "You scare easily. Why?"

Oh the rust bucket is becoming self aware, wonderful Tanikazi thought and looked around, Looking if anybody would listen to the mean things he was about to say I don't know about you, but people hate it when you appear right in front of there faces, I never even asked for you to come and join us, So don't get comfortable Rust bucket, I bet every little thing you do you report to whatever Robot overlord you secretly conspire with. Metal toaster, Tanikazi ranted cruelly, a orange glow coming from his cigarette Adds to the cruelness

Listening to the verbal beatdown it was clear that Tanikazi was not pleased with her. Once again she tried and failed to connect with the system in an attempt to have some direction on how to react. Nothing, she was on her own. Standing back up one could almost see the gears turning in her head as she processed what to do. The result was less than ideal. EVE just wasn't used to doing things on her own. "I am sorry. What can I do to make things better?"

Tanikazi was hesitant to tell her to piss off, he knew if he did someone would tell him off, But instead he sighed and commanded the rust bucket Don't speak don't talk don't scare the crap out of me don't touch anything Don't do anything! Tanikazi always hated robots, they killed his friends and tooken him onto this rust bucket that he can't escape, and now he had a pet robot on his little squad of lunatics

Shea was completely and totally lost. She didn't understand half of what they were saying. Not counting the parts not in English! What was the new guys? Were they a threat or not? Could they help them? What did they know about the pyramid that the rest of the didn't? She wished that she had a better idea of what was going on. And what she could do to help.

Runo remained hidden in the corner for a while, not letting his camouflage fade and blocking out his surroundings while he tried to calm down. His eyes were still a bit watery, but he eventually looked up to see that the others were still either attempting to communicate or figure out what to do. His arm was starting to feel a bit numb, save for the shocks of pain that shot through it whenever he moved it. After attempting another few licks to the injured area only to be blocked by his range of motion, the merman eventually rose to his feet and began cautiously looking around for something to patch up the rest of the wound. He kept himself camouflaged even as he moved shakily around the room, not wanting to attract attention from any of the aggressive creatures in the room again. There had to be something to ties the wound closed for now, at least. Or perhaps he should try to clean the wound? He looked back in the direction of the spout that Akila had gotten the water from before making his way over to it, grabbing the drone head he had used as a bowl before. Unfortunately, as soon as he had reached the spout and placed down the makeshift bowl, he realized that he didn't quite understand how it worked. Being in the ocean his entire life made things like this pretty uncommon for him; there really wasn't much of a point when he was surrounded by water already. He examined the device for a minute, trying to figure it out before he let down his camouflage and looked back at the others for help. He wondered if they might be too busy to notice, though, and went back to messing around with it in an attempt to turn it on again.

Tanikazi's request was impossible, at least in a logical sense. If EVE were doing nothing then that nothing would be something. And that she would still be doing something when she wasn't supposed to. Were she just running on logic she probably would have frozen up. Her human side thought the request was nonsense though and dropped it. "I cannot do that. It does not make sense. I was created for a purpose. I have lost that purpose so I must find a new one." Thinking that she would not get anywhere with Tanikazi EVE turned and looked at Shea and Runo. The young woman appeared to have not moved in this time. A sign of uncertainty. The cyborg could relate. Perhaps she could be of more use to human. There was a slight pang from having been out of touch with another human for so long. On the other hand Runo appeared to be injured and trying to operate the valve. His current state was partially her fault, though Tanikazi was the one that preformed the action. Of course she could always do both. That was the advantage a thinking being had. They manipulated their environment to suit them and their needs. Starting toward Runo, EVE turned her head to Shea and spoke to draw her attention. "Could you please assist me. You know this one better than I do."

Uh huh Toaster Tanikazi said meanly to the robot, he glared at the robot for a bit and noticed Runo or whatever hes called was struggling to open a valve, Tanikazi walked over to the Valve and Moved the valve with his right hand Singlehandedly and a bit of rushing crystal water came running out of the pipes

In the exchange Iremea would of course see much of the architecture that Egypt had to offer and life by the Nile. One experience in particular she chose to share, her life before her transformation. Of course some of her time as an Egyptian goddess was also included along with what little they knew of the place they were all in now. "Your home is lovely. I have never seen anything like it." That detail actually gave Akila pause. What was just seen appeared to be another realm.

"Thank you", Iremea replied "I would say the same of yours. I hope that together we will be able to return to our homes soon. This place...there is something wrong about it". The Revenati mage, now believing there to be some form of trust between the two groups, decided it was no longer necessary to use her Aeta form. In a matter of seconds the robe Iremea already wore grew to envelope a 7th tall Revenati female. She grew two scorpion-like stingers from her back which half resembled wings that have had everything removed but the bone. When the transformation was complete she stood on four arachnid legs that were consealed beneath the long flowing robe but the sounds of them clattoring against the metal floor indicated their presence. "Now that everything has been explained, do we have a plan of action? Perhaps we should ask her about this facility", Iremea pointed towards EVE before gesturing Kaszear to bring his attention away from Shea and towards EVE. If this Aeta were dangerous she'd need him to be ready for whatever tricks it'd have up it's sleeve.

Runo backed up a bit when Tanikazi approached, not really trusting him all that much anymore. All he did this time was just turn on the water flow, though, so he stopped for a moment to try to understand what had just happened. The thing at the top...just turned like that? It could even be done with one hand... As fascinated as he was, he still wasn't sure how safe it was to approach again. He'd had enough of being beaten up and intimidated that day, and he didn't much feel like getting hurt anymore.

Iremea's change didn't give Akila any pause. "I agree. She may be able to tell us more. At one point I thought I was on the right track but the longer I am here the less I seem to know." Did the thing even have a name. Akila could not recall getting one. She approached EVE, stilling the cyborg on her way toward Runo. "Excuse me, could you come with me so we may talk?" The jackal girl stopped her. It was slightly disappointing to be drawn from where she was going. But it sounded like she was needed which was good. "I will go with you." With Akila she went back to the Revenati. Seeing Iremea's new form caused EVE to glanced around. "I am confused. Where did the other one go?"

Yer welcome Tanikazi said a bit rudely and leaned against his wall, with a orange glow from his Cigarette, he looked at the others and noticed a horrible monster, Tanikazi flinched and his ciggarete came out of his mouth, and falling to the floor like a butterfly with 1 wing Tanikazi nearly tripped Uhh Why is there a big spider person in the middle of the hallway! Tanikazi exclaimed

The reactions of the others caught Iremea by surprise, this was the first time someone reacted to her second form this way and honestly it was somewhat humorous. "This is who I truely am, I apologize for hiding this for I believed my Aeta form would prevent you from being frightened until the time was right". Kaszear was not as forgiving of the Aeta's reaction as Iremea. To think she was anything but beautiful was insanity. Still he'd control his anger as he did not want to ruin what was now a fledgling alliance.

"I see. I did not know you could do that. Fascinating." That little bit cleared up EVE didn't give it a second thought. It wasn't the first time she had encountered a shape shifter and Iremea's appearance made little difference to her. "The jackal said you wish to talk?" "You may call me Alika." Akila interjected. "Perhaps we should start with your name." Best to get introductions out of the way so as to make things easier. Names, a social concept used to identify one another. EVE could not recall her name. She would probably have to use the next best thing. "My designation is EVE."

At Tanikazi's reaction, Runo turned around and nearly fell back in shock at the change in appearance of what seemed to be a completely new creature. That...what was it? It took him a moment to realize that it was speaking in a way that he could actually understand, but was also a relief to learn that it was still just another form of the creature from before and not something new and hostile. Still, he was pretty uneasy as it was and decided to stay as far away from the two new creatures as possible. The other one didn't like him, anyway. And yet, he couldn't help but be a little curious...perhaps he could observe from a distance.

"It is a pleasure to meet you EVE", Iremea replied. Despite her previous discussions with Akila being of a friendly nature EVE response was met with calm neutrality. Iremea was by no means upset or suspicious of EVE but if the Aeta had information on her freedom she was willing to excuse formalities at the moment. "Forgive me for my abruptness but I must ask you what you know of this place. We all wish to escape from here and right now you are the only one capable of freeing us"

Well. uhh Cool Tanikazi said. oh crap we're gonna have that TOASTER save us?, now we're fracked Tanikazi thought, He doubted the robot would help. Tanikazi had nothing but trouble from those damn Rust buckets, First abductions second constant assault and now a human-robot person is the key to freedom yayyyyyyyy.

Listening to what Iremea wanted EVE tilted her head in the end. Is that what everyone wanted, to leave? That was interesting. "No one is supposed to leave." The thought have never even crossed her mind. It was odd to her that they asked at all.

Seeing how the others were already trying to figure out what to do next, Runo turned his attention back to the water spout and filled the container he had brought over. Once it was filled, he attempted to turn off the water flow the same way he had seen it turned on, but only managed to get it to a tiny trickle rather than shutting it all the way off. With that solved, he took the water container out of the way of the others and attempted to wash his shoulder. It wasn't all that easy, since all he could really do was splash water onto his shoulder with his hand, but it was getting something done, at least. The cold water felt really good, too. Although, exactly how he'd wrap the wound after, he realized he still hadn't figured out yet. stopping for a moment, he stared at the water as he thought about how he probably should have done something about that first. ...Or maybe... After a moment more of thought, the merman began scooping up more of the water and placing it in his mouth this time. He wouldn't need bandages if this worked. After swishing the water around in his mouth for about a minute, he turned his head and spit it over his shoulder to the area he couldn't reach before. He flinched slightly at first at the weird feeling, but soon noticed the pain dull slightly. It worked! Scooping up more of the water into his mouth, he repeated the process a few more times, feeling the pain slowly ebb out of his arm as he did so.

Listening to what Iremea wanted EVE tilted her head in the end. Is that what everyone wanted, to leave? That was interesting. "No one is supposed to leave." The thought have never even crossed her mind. It was odd to her that they asked at all.

Yep! just what I thought, another drone to keep us stuffed in this little prison of a triangle Tanikazi Exclaimed, He wasn't going to stay in this pyramid, Nope not at all, it was a crappy place and he wanted out, He was going to find it even if he had to force a Rust bucket too I don't know about you but I want out of this mess Tanikazi shared his thoughts with the group, he stopped leaning against a nearby wall and crossed his arms to show how serious he is about leaving

Why was Tanikazi so against her. It was something EVE couldn't figure out. The others seemed wary of her as well. "This isn't a prison. It is a safe haven." Looking at the others they clearly did not believe her either. "Why don't you believe me?" Shaking her head Akila crossed her arms. "Eve, we've been shot at by those automatons and Tanikazi has been shocked several times. By you included."
