well venku like i said there is some differences.. like the taking multiple pieces for stronger possible characters isn't going to be a thing because you would be forcing other players out of the chance of playing in the rp.

and it's funny how the rooks and bishops filled up so fast, and we even go a pawn but one of the most powerful spots Queen, and pretty good Knights are completely avoided lol.

Sacred Gear:
Uses a sacred gear that takes the form of a pair of headphones. This gives him the capability to control the audio waves around him. It's strongest and easiest capability would be to merely listen to things around him. At it's maximum strength, he could listen to an entire city. He can also manipulate the audio around him in various ways. Two examples being offensive and defensive uses. Offensively, he could redirect sounds and amplify them in order to create a sound blast that could shatter eardrums and leave his enemies either dead or disabled. He could also reduce the volume of noise around him infinitely, creating a acoustic black hole of sorts.

Backstory:
A quiet student, Sonitus (as he calls himself) often vanishes in a classroom setting. In fact, he's seen so rarely that he's sometimes mistaken for a ghost. People see him the most at the local library or tech center, reading in various dark corners. He never speaks to his fellow students, and only answers the teachers with the barest minimum needed. His history is unknown, as he has never talked about it.

Personality type would be closest to an ISTJ. He also has hyperthymesia. This is a human trait, that is completely unrelated to any supernatural powers.

When will people's characters be added? Surely not all at once? It would make sense to me to have a few who are already in, but I'm not an expert or anything on this stuff and it's your RP.

hm... whats the downside of that sacred gear Venku? when it comes to the sacred gear, there is a down side to very powerful ones, weither it's the person's own skills to the sacred gear itself. The main character's Sacred gear is incredibly powerful in the anime but it has 2 limitors. 1. It takes time for it's power to build up and 2. The user can only sustain the power that his body can handle, without enough of his own physical attributes.

well nookzer if you pay enough attention you'd notice not all the rooks have the insane strength, especially to the level of the female on the main team, they are stronger than regular people yes but they don't have the insane super strength. or else the main guy probably would of been bitched slapped pretty easy in the one fight where he has to fight a rook and 2 pawns all by himself.

which if you wanted them to Her level then you couldn't have a sacred gear because it would be to powerful there.

nope lol the rook in the main team isn't slow as heck, now their not as fast as knights, they can't just disappear from sight from moving incredibly fast. Because of becoming a devil all the humans have their 5 senses increased, and their entire physical attributes all of them increased more than normal, the 'Devil Piece' just gives them a bonus to a certain attribute basically.

so it's not like their super slow or anything.
