If you seriously don't want it, Valsil can be 'in charge' and it will *definitely* 'Create friction.' Especially with Traest. Jeez. That practically writes itself.

I admit, while he might not get along overly well with Ayessa with Valsil that's just asking for friction.

and will probably create friction within the Jedi as well. Having two such opposing characters leading them.

The thing is that they are two organizations with two very different ways of doing things that are ingrained. So yeah, the misunderstanding factor will always be there.

The first operation will be on Tierfon; an Expansion Territories planet. IRSOG-37 is tasked with disabling a control center for planetside ion cannon battery to allow a strike force from the 17th Attack Squadron under Admiral Sul'juwa. The overall mission is to disable a Mandalorian war forge and staging that is supplying a push into the Core Worlds.

Hell yeah. That's probably what Valek would do, much to his master's chagrin. And as to in media res, Ok. I'll follow the first post's lead,just in case.

Also you're a jumper now boy. I'd probably uh, if you're under Traests command already I'd have you dropship in as you aren't officially front line troops near the rear end of the engagement and help set up a base. Which would obviously come under attack.

They don't necessarily have to jump with rocket packs. IRSOGs are not specifically jump troops; they use whatever insertion method suits the mission best.

Though her leadership skills would be more akin to acting like a worried mother towards everyone.

And any casualties under her command will devastate her.

Not that that's a bad thing.

I know, though Traests specific group of four squads was in the history. At least they can perform normal ops but do have jumppacks (Rather than rocket packs. Jump packs cause they're smaller, and lighter. Also only meant for getting around quickly not really for for rocketing about and hovering).

Guess that settles it, then. Yeah, they have to figure out the whole, 'rank among knights' thing, but time in grade is apparently a valid way to reckon it. ;)

Incidentally, we have a massive shortfall of technical skills in general, and we probably need more of that. Among the Jedi, there are plenty of individuals that know that stuff, so we need a little diversity beyond people that specialize in merely lightsabers and force use. This is a good reason to modify some sheets.
