So I just got a character sheet in, and will be playing a Padawan. Looking forward to playing with you all. If anyone wants to collaborate some kind of intertwined backstory before this all kicks off, feel free to PM me!

Given the last two additions, we're full up on Padawans, but can always use more republic military types. Ellri, it looks like Padawans get divided up between our two characters. I'm cool with whatever arrangement you three come up with here.

As I said, Friday (today) is the day I intend to kick off the IC. That gives everyone the weekend to frame responses. We can't delay this RP anymore. So any last minute character additions will be, well, last minute as we already get it kicked off.

My thought is that the beginning of the operation will involve their shuttles getting shot out from under them and the drops get scattered, similar to Sicily or D-Day -- then it'll be scattered small groups trying to achieve their mission objectives.

I hate to do Seuss' work for him but there are some real issues with Potter sheet.

1) Chiss. While it is possible to be a Chiss it is highly unlikely, chiss reside in the unknown regions. A area of space hard to navigate and is largely unexplored. The only reason they are in The Old Republic is Vitates Sith Empire is there as that is where the Sith retreated too, which means that you'd know about them and could warn the Jedi and thus the Republic would likely try and sort out a plan of attack.

Not to mention the Chiss are only in TOR as "LolGame"

3) The Mandalorian wars are from 3964BBY to 3960BBY (Main conflict, not the Mandalorian Raids) which means... you haven't been born yet. BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin) dates go down to 0, where the first Death Star was destroyed. Then ABY starts and it goes up the way.

4) Jedi in Unknown Regions. The Jedi would encumber the same navigation problems as everyone else, most people who fled into the unknown regions were considered crazy and often left too it. Not to mention he'd encumber the minute issues of a Sith Empire

5) Barrier wouldn't be taught to an initiate, it's more of a Padwan time ability.

These are just some realllyyy big things that kinda scream out. I'll leave the rest up to Seuss, ofc I'm not GM so if Seuss says that all this is okay I'm fine with it :P

That was a lovely read, Bright_Ops. Almost impossible to compare to what it was yesterday.

Just a few quick questions...

One, you do know that Trandoshan adulthood is 25 years, right?
Two, how old was he when he left home and started doing "business"?
Three, does he have any skill with Blasters (pistols, rifles, etc)? Is there a reason he's not carrying one?

We'll not comment on Prince Potter's character, as Sep already did that. No point in covering it twice.

Concerning yours Celeste: A bit skeptical to the idea of a 19-year old being fluent in 8 languages and passable in six more. Its not all that plausible. Especially when you add understanding of several more to the list. Learning languages isn't an easy thing, especially not fluently.

I know Trandoshan's are adults at 25. Angron's 23. He left home at 16.

As for the blasters... Honestly I don't know. He just doesn't use them.

I'm honestly perfectly fine with a linguist -- besides, Revan was known to understand a bunch of languages and it was generally through the Force.

and it wasn't every language and helped if the other was Force Sensitive.

Also I don't think he'll be needing that ability all the time anyway.

From what I can tell, almost any non-force sensitive is welcome right now, and a tech specialist would likely be very useful too.

We already have a demolition man, but if you can make explosives on the side we'll get along nicely.
