Kaiya registered Humaru sending down a Lightning-coated fist towards the injured woman's head and ran after him, but realized she wouldn't have made it in time. Untying the ribbons tied around the bottom of her baton, she drew it back before lashing out Cloud-coated ribbons that entwined around Humaru's wrists. Digging her foot into the roof, Kaiya gripped her baton with two hands and pulled back the offending wrists.

"I don't understand what you have against the Vongola, but I won't let you hurt her anymore than she already has been," she said, keeping a firm grip on her baton in case he struggled.

Kaji was completely clueless as to what he was watching unfold.it was a fire fight... then that smug creeper from the school was there. and ...an... he wasn't even sure. all he knew was that he now had a reason to hate the stanger (Humaru). Kaji would always admit that he was low on the moral totem pole. but any man who would strike a female beyond pathetic. the thought alone made his blood boil. setting all the base ball jokes aside for a moment he stepped out and approached the man, griping his bat. "what is wrong with you you piece of trash"

Humaru simply ignores Kaji, focusing on the woman, his eyes darting about as he follows her movements.

"are you listening to me?" Kaji got close enough to swing his bat at the mans chest. when he did he swung with enough force to break ribs and damage organs. he was enraged and full of hatred. he would keep swing untill the man stopped moving... or was dead. which ever came first at this point

The Lightning-coated fist coming towards her pushed her adrenaline into overdrive. There was no fucking way she'd let herself get offed like this. Fire coursed through her body like a circuit, a slight yellow glow coming from the Flames' pathways. The feeling of a hot iron rod being stabbed into her back was absolutely excruciating, given that several of her capillaries had burst, bones had fractured, tendons had strained, and blood vessels had ruptured already. Overclocking her body after severely overclocking her body to such lengths before.... Definitely not a good idea, but you did what you did to survive.

"ARGH!" she cried out, as she slammed her feet on the pavement to push herself backwards, away from the Lightning combatant... Who seemed to have been held up by something. With her blurred vision, there wasn't much he could see, but it seemed he had been restrained by... Rope? Cloth? Something like that Then there was... a fight? She could hear the sound of something swinging, and some angry words being spoken by a voice that sounded like someone from class. The yellow glow disappeared, as the overclocking stopped. Of course, she still hurt like hell and hacked out a cough of blood into her hand.

Humaru gripped the bat, electricity still flailing through his arm, he simply snaps the ribbons with his brute strength, and then doing the same to the bat without any effort, before spinning his body, tripping the man, he walks over toward the women, staring down at her "..Vongola..You don't seem very strong..I will let you live.." He murmurs, lending out a hand.

"Hold fire."
"Yes, sir."

Nagato laxed his arms and lowered his Mist Bow. He was... quite, quite far away, in a position where he could see them, but they couldn't see him unless they knew where he was. His shoulder was pretty darn busted after getting merely nicked by Masako's fireball. Her Flames were like an explosion from a grenade. Sure, they might not be as hot as other Flames of that caliber, but they had some damn force behind them. He put his hand to the burnt patch of cloak and massaged his fractured shoulder. He turned to the indigo-haired toddler behind him calling the shots and finally began to let himself fume.

"You bastard. You lied about her abilities."
"Did I now?"
"You said that she wouldn't be able to fight with her Flames!"
"I said nothing of the sort. In fact, I recall saying, 'she shouldn't be able to put her Flames to use at the current period of her training'."
"That's the same goddamn thing!"
"No, 12:00PM in Italy is not 12:00PM in Japan. I merely failed to inform you that by 'current period of her training' meant the sleeping portion."
"..."

Needless to say, Nagato was screaming internally as the Cloud Arcobaleno laughed.

"This... some kin..d... of joke?" Masako laughed dryly as she just stared up Humaru's hand, "th-thanks... but no th...anks..." She would've handwaved him away, but given her current condition, she just added some extra 'scoff' into her words, "I can get up... pER...fectly... fine..." She said, emphasizing the 'ER' with a rather loud grunt as she pushed herself up onto the ground.

Yuzuki jumped to the other roof where Humaru and Kaji was. She landed behind Humaru and snapped out a dagger just in case. She didn't care if anyone noticed. "Don't try anything funny." She shot at Humaru. walking past him to the girl and kneeling next to her, "Are you okay?" she asked putting a hand on he back, "Can anyone help me get her to my place and get her healed up? I don't think anyone here wants to explain what happened to the school nurse or the hospital..." She looked at Kaji to help her lift the girl up, so she will be able to walk somewhat.

Kaji dropped what was left of his bat and helped pick her up to her feet. a new bat was easy to come by.

Normally Masako would be fidgeting, what with being touched and treated like a baby so much, but honestly, she had not the energy nor the want to complain at the moment. Fortunately the girl holding her up was smart enough to figure that the hospital or the school nurse would be a crapsack idea to go to. Though her throat was quite dry, she managed to give Yuzuki her answer. "...Of...cour...se...I just...have...several wou...nds....multiple bro...ken bones...and int...ernal...blee...ding..." Masako joked painfully before wincing horribly, "fuck...! Just... Just get me out of here..."

Humaru, before anyone could protest, swoops the woman up, running across the rooftops quickly, and soon out of site, he says not a word to the woman before he would make it to a safe location, he puts her down, simply beginning to walk away, not even wanting so much as a thankyou.

Once again storing her baton into her sleeve, Kaiya followed after Humaru's figure. Upon arriving at the apartment, she passed by him as he was just leaving. Shrugging it off, she waved with a smile, "Bye, Lightning Stalker-san!"

Turning back to Masako, who Humaru just left in front of their door, Kaiya unlocked the door before going over and carefully helping the girl walk into their apartment, and laying her down on the couch. Plopping down next to Masako, her hand rested on the side of her neck, her habit kicking in before she looked up at her. an apologetic smile on her face, "Sorry, Vongola. I don't really know much about first aid. They should be here soon."

She still hadn't learned how to do first aid. Looking back on it, she rarely attained injuries. She remembered tripping and scraping her knees a few times, getting small cuts and bruises from training, but that was it. Furthermore, since Yuzuki was always there for her, she would always take care of her.

...Am I... spoiled? she inwardly laughed when the thought came.

Yuzuki came into the door, leaving it unlocked just in case Kaji or Humaru decides to walk in. She searched for the first aid kit and attended the girl, splinting any broken limbs. "Kai, go call one of the mafia doctors." She ordered Kaiya, despite knowing Kai hates being ordered around.

Zuki gets up and walked to the bathroom, where she got a bucket of water. Walked back, sat down next to Masako again and started cleaning her wounds, knowing they would hurt. She used a towel to dry it after cleaning off the blood and dirt, and started wrapping her with bandage tapes. Zuki was silent, and focused on the wounds, hoping they weren't infected.

Upon Yuzuki's order, Kaiya stood up from her seat on the floor and walked over to the home phone, speed-dialing one of the few doctors they knew. With the phone pressed to her ear, she watched Yuzuki cleaning Masako's wound while waiting for an answer, which came after three more beeps.

"----!"
"Hello- No, I didn't get hurt. Why do you assume I'm the one who's always-"
"---, ----? -----?"
"That's... I'm a bit offended."
"----! -----. -----?"
"Oh, yeah! Come here real quick. Someone's hurt."
"----. -----!" beep.

Within a few minutes, a voice called from the doorway and Kaiya ushered the doctor in, all the while practically ignoring the woman who was busy hugging her to death and spouting nonsense that Kaiya didn't bother listening to.

"She's on the couch. Yuzuki's already cleaning up her wounds. Just go already," she said bluntly.

The woman laughed, heading on over to the two and said something about Kaiya being "cold as usual" before finally doing her job.

Kaji was pissed off. and to make things worse his bat was broken... and to make things EVEN more worse he was out of cigarettes. "damn it" he kicked a trash can over as he stalked down the streets. he had no idea what was going on but his instincts were screaming at him that he was on the brink of being draw into something out of this world. but his anger was screaming louder. First things first, he needed a better bat.

There was a rather significant amount of flinching coming from Masako as her wounds were being fixed up by these strangers. Normally, she'd be brushing them off; she didn't need people to think she was some kind of charity case after all! ...But beggars can't be choosers, so she was stuck here getting repaired. She registered another person enter the area, sounding a bit older, actually. A professional doctor hopefully? She felt her body get patched up with much more precision than earlier, so it seemed it was. Thankfully. Although, she was getting a bit tired.

These people wouldn't get mad if she fell asleep, right? She WAS an injured person....

Kaiya stayed nearby, watching Yuzuki and the female doctor do their jobs, and stood up when they were done. Approaching the doctor who was preparing to leave after giving some instructions to Yuzuki, Kaiya crossed her arms and thanked her with a small grin, "Thanks, as usual, Sensei."

The woman returned a smile of her own and ruffled Kaiya's hair, "It's no problem at all, Kaiya-chan! I'm happy to help!"

Casting a quick glance towards Masako and Yuzuki, she said over her shoulder, "I'm going to go for a walk!"

Kaiya walked the doctor out of the apartment while chatting with her. They eventually reached her van, and were getting ready to say their goodbyes when the woman's expression suddenly lit up in recognition, as if she had just remembered something. Walking over to Kaiya, she leaned down to whisper.

For a fraction of a second, Kaiya's eyes widened in surprise before she shook her head sorrowfully. Expecting this reaction, the woman smiled and waved her goodbye. Kaiya watched the van drive away farther and farther until it was out of sight. Heaving a sigh, Kaiya began her stroll around Namimori, immersed in her thoughts for once. So engrossed in her thoughts was she that she didn't realize that she almost crashed into someone and she barely snapped herself out of her daze in time to avoid a collision.

"Oops, sorry-" She began to say, but upon meeting the gaze of the person she almost collided came a slight tugging on her mind. Analyzing him, her face lit up before she said, "Oh, you were the one with the bat, weren't you?"

Kaji looked at the girl that was apparently speaking to him. people usually didn't speak to him so he missed everything she just said. His eyes squinted in recognition "your the girl from earlier. Are you...um....ok?" he rubbed the back of his head. This was awkward for him. He felt naked without his bat. He even glanced down to make sure he wasnt actually naked just to be sure.

"Yup! I'm a-okay!" She smiled, and noticed that she was making him uncomfortable. Her smile turned sheepish and she asked, "Sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable right now. I'm Nariaki Kaiya! And you are?"
