Rapunzel had taken her hair out of the intricate bun and left her hair braided. She had also changed into her warmer clothing, putting on a hat and jacket. She thanked and paid the man when they pulled up to the ski lodge and pulled her bag over her shoulder, pushing her braid to the other. She could already see people heading up to the hills to snowboard or ski. She wandered passed a ground of people, three girls and two men (one of which looked at though he had rolled around a little in the snow), before she headed into the lodge to check in. When she was given her key and pass, she handed off her bag to a bellman, who was to take it up to her room. She kept her purse with her though as it had all of her art supplies in it. She bit her lip trying to decided where it was that she wanted to go, when someone came inside. As the door opened, she saw the lift going up the mountain behind them. She grinned as she found out where she was going. She trudged through the snow to the lift and stood behind a guy with brown hair, who she assumed was heading up the mountain to go down due to his snowboard. She was slightly curious as how it looked to everyone else to see her standing there with no skis or snowboard just a purse... She laughed a little at the thought. It took only a moment to realize how much stranger that made it all. She covered her mouth and looked up at the boy... man... She wondered if they would have to go on the lift together... She wondered if she could even get on it.

_"Yes, he did try hitting on me. Multiple times. And stupidly tried to impress me on the slopes remember? I don't understand why guys don't listen. No means no, they should respect a girl enough to take her answer and to not try and force themselves on her after the fact. And don't even think about saying something like 'You're never going to get a guy that way' or 'You really need to start dating or you're never going to find love' because I know all that... I just, haven't found the right guy yet..."_ Anna hadn't turned on her music yet but she looked towards her sister for a moment as she explained and smirked. "That or maybe you secretly like other women." Anna said with a soft laugh as she leaned her back up against the seat adjusting her earbuds and her beanie making sure that it fit snuggly over her ears. "Don't worry I wont tell anyone." Anna said with another laugh as they finally came to the top of the slope, Anna quickly grabbed her board adjusting the straps to her boots making sure that they were on firmly to her snowboard and pulled herself off of the lift and slid slightly to face her sister. "One run, back to the lodge. The loser cooks dinner for the rest of the week Oh... And it's Snow Queen to you little sis; see you at the bottom!" Anna smiled hearing Elsa's voice as she pushed herself down the slope picking a random song Anna quickly moved forward, Anna could see Elsa was very well ahead of her already. Anna bent her knees more and leaned herself forward to increase her speed Anna yelled out to her sister. "Sounds good to me!" Anna said as she swerved her board through the snow matching her sister's trail in the snow. Anna could feel the cold mountain air brushing over her face as she sped down the mountainside until they were finally at the bottom of the mountain just in front of the ski lodge. Anna quickly came to a stop moving her hips back to slow herself down spraying some snow all over another man. Anna took off her goggles her eyes looking back towards Elsa just in time to see another girl accidentally bumping into her. "Looks like you won sis. And looks like you got yourself a girlfriend already." Anna teased her sister playfully punching her shoulder. "Sorry for the snow spray there." Anna said with a soft smile looking at him for a moment. "I'll get you a free hot chocolate if you like." Anna then turned her attention to River and smiled extending her hand towards the other girl. "I'm Annelise Brie, and that's my sister Elisa Brie it's nice to meet you." Anna smiled looking towards her sister.

Dustin hated the snow with every ounce of his soul. It got everywhere and he hated being cold. He could navigate the Mojave like it was nothing at all. He could lead tourists to all the greatest spots and not break into a sweat. His parents use to joke he was part lizard or something. Now he was standing on a mountain wrapped in as many layers as he could get away with. He walked along the mountain trying to figure out what to do and was failing in every sense of the word. He walked around the outside until eventually he saw a group of people around his own age. He got his courage up and walked over. It worked in Vegas if you walked like you belonged people would give you respect. "Uhh excuse me? Yah umm. Could any if you help me here? Really out of my element here. " He said giving the group a sheepish grin. "I have no idea what I am doing with all this. I can't even ski or snowboard." He admitted. "Oh! I'm Dustin and my folks banished me here to get me out of Vegas. " He said giving the group his best smile still.

![Baeden](http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_md2e3jPtsG1riaeblo4_500.gif "Baeden") Earth - Tahoe Skii Lodge It took a bit, but Baeden had managed to remove most of the snow that had been kicked up into his face, only for a fresh wave of the white powder to cover him again. Standing stock still for a moment (hearing Augusts' laughter intensifying ten-fold) Baeden just sighed before using his sleeve to remove the snow from his face... again. Truly today just wasn't his day. Free to see again, holding up his arm slightly as a sort of barrier should anything else happen in the next ten seconds, he allowed his eyes to rest on the red-head who was apologizing. *"Sorry for the snow spray there. I'll get you a free hot chocolate if you like."* Upon reflex, Baeden found that his head was shaking no to the offer, allowing his arm to relax back down to his side when it seemed that he was finally in the clear. "No, that's alright. I wasn't looking where I was going." He responded with a light shrug of his shoulders. Suddenly, there was another red-head that seemed to come out of nowhere; River Anderson, as she had introduced herself, and the opposite red-head introduced herself as Annelise Brie and the blonde opposite her as Elisa Brie. Baeden hadn't even so much as blinked when another joined in, introducing himself as Dustin and voicing his own thoughts of being completely out of their element. Though a handful of years younger than he was, Baeden could already tell that the two of them had a lot in common, though Baeden wouldn't have ever asked for help upfront the way Dustin was. Props to the kid. *“Uh… Hey, did I kick up some sno-... Enough Anna!"* His attention was brought back full-circle to the blonde who he had first laid his eyes on before he got covered in snow again. She seemed just as confused as he was when it came to all these other people popping out of nowhere. He missed what had transpired between the two sisters for Elisa to warrent a basic 'shut up' but she had her attention back to him. *“Hey; I’m really sorry about the snow. I didn't see you there and I know my sister doesn't pay enough attention to notice anyone unless their right in front of her face, especially when we’re betting on chores and food. My name is Eliza Brie; my father owns the lodge. If there’s anything I can do for you; free ski or boarding lessons, meals, event tickets, ect. Just let me know. Uh… I guess that offer could include your friend as well, though it means more work for me and I don’t know how a dying hyena would go at some of the events…”* Baeden couldn't help but to look over his snow-covered shoulder at August. Dying hyena didn't even cover it at that point, but August seemed to come up for air at the mention of a favor from an exceptionally beautiful woman. Baeden visibly winced, knowing just where his boss' mind was headed so he jumped in before August got a chance. "No, no... we're good." He said lamely gesturing to the VIP badge he wore at his hip. He hated to flaunt it around like he was bragging, he really wasn't, it was just a gesture that he had pretty much everything covered expense wise... not that he would ever allow a woman to pay for anything for him in the first place, or pull a favor... that just wasn't in his moral code. Especially when it had been his fault. "Though you guys might want to think about putting runway lights up here or something... kinda a high traffic area." He added, a small attempt at a light bit of humor but it didn't seem to take too well. It sounded a lot better in his head. Her attention was swallowed up by the boy, Dustin, giving Baeden a chance to talk with August. Stepping a few feet away from the growing group, Baeden put a hand on August's shoulder and lowered his voice. "I know what you're thinking-" He started, but August interrupted. "Which one you want me to wing for you? Really I'd be happy with any of the three but since I'm in a pretty damn good mood-" "-And the answer is no." Baeden interrupted, finishing his previous thought before August had interrupted him, also seeming to answer August's question, which had his boss frowning. Feeling like he had to explain like to that of a child, Baeden looked back to the group of three girls (and one guy), making sure that August saw what he saw. "Jail. Bait." Baeden said slowly before pushing August away from him. "Now... go and test out that pool you were talking about or whatever, just leave me alone." August regained his balance quite easily, keeping himself from toppling into the snow which he was sure had been Baeden's initial intent. "Alright, alright. You don't gotta spell it out for me." August said brushing away tiny flecks of snow from his leather jacket from his contact with the snow-covered Baeden. Baeden just shook his head, rolling his eyes a bit. Yeah... yeah he did. He watched his boss heading in the opposite direction, having already found a new object for his affections: twins. Groaning inwardly to himself, Baeden shook his head before he heard Elisa addressing him again. *"Sorry... I don't think I caught your name..."* Baeden turned to the group, blinking a few times. How exactly did he just get pulled into... whatever this was? Shifting a bit awkwardly on his feet, never really great at talking in front of groups larger than one, he lamely gave his name. "Cassidy. Baeden Cassidy." He found that his foot had decided to kick at a small clump of snow below him, giving him something to do and to look at to keep from looking stupid... though he was sure that point had already come and gone. "I uh, I'm just looking for something to eat." He added lamely, chancing a look back up to Elisa.

![Rumpelstiltskin](https://31.media.tumblr.com/a9a2619ac9767fff4bbaae423d8fb6ae/tumblr_nc9dkyaSdD1s7eez6o3_500.gif "Rumpelstiltskin") The Enchanted Forest - Swan Lake *"Fate is fate for a reason, one should not change what life has in store for them lest risk losing more than they had to begin with."* A flickering smile crossed the Dark Sorcerer's lips, impressed by such bold words from such a small thing with nothing to protect her short of her quick wit. He halted his steps in favor to allow Odette to size him up in return. He could feel her eyes baring into him as she walked around him, as if his true intentions were written somewhere on his golden-flecked skin and though she wouldn't find anything there but darkness, he allowed her further search. *"I've heard about you Rumpelstiltskin... Heard Rothbart and Bridget speak of you... Heard the people of the kingdom warn others about you... They call you Dark One for a reason sorcerer. You claim to know me, though from your lack of knowing my answer to your question it's clear that you do not."* Rumpelstiltskin let out a quiet snort through his nose. Oh he knew the answer to her question, even if she didn't; not truly, because he hadn't offered it to her yet. *"You cannot help me, nor would I ever ask you to. My curse is mine to bare, you couldn't possibly be the one to break it. I do not wish to make a deal with you Rumpelstiltskin... Not now, and not ever... So why are you here?"* Rumpelstiltskin moved forward, now that her investigation of him was done with, and her back to him to look out on the water, he was able to approach her. "Break it? No, I can't do that..." Rumpelstiltskin began, letting his hands rest on the tops of her shoulders lightly. It was probably a bit much for someone who had grown up learning to fear him, as most everyone else in The Enchanted Forest had, but he needed the contact. The dark magic of the curse was calling to him like a familiar friend, he just couldn't place what it was, not until he touched her. Flashes of Odette's past engrained itself into his mind in a blur, as if he were watching snippets of her life through her own eyes. A washing of understanding came over him then as he watched Rothbart cast the curse and she was turned into a swan, forced to the solace of the lake in wait until the moon rose high in the sky to change her back. Feeling the dark magic pulsing through her blood underneath the skin of her shoulders where he was touching her, he could practically feel the tendrils aching to be released from within her; to return to it's true origin; him. A memory of The Dark One before him, Zoso, flashed into his mind then; a particular lesson in which he had given Rothbart the curse that now plagued Odette. He held his hold on her shoulders a bit more firmly to bend his neck closer so that he was speaking in her ear. He knew all he needed to now. "But I can... *alter* it." He whispered before forcefully pushing himself away from her, putting distance between them once more. "Who do you think gave Rothbart the curse to begin with?" Rumpelstiltskin then asked, defaulting back to his child-like voice with an equally childish smirk playing on his lips before gesturing to himself with a grand flourish. "A vow of everlasting love." He sing-songed, proving that there was more he knew than she had thought. "I can't imagine the amount of washing you need to do from having to wade into that lake night after night... *But*, if it were only... let's say, once a week... and you no longer had to stay here with Rothbart..." He was dangling the offer in front of her like a steak to a starved lion. Not only could he *see* how unhappy Odette was with her situation, he could *feel* it too. His magic was coursing through her veins. It was as if a piece of him was living inside her and now under the full understanding of what it was, in turn it was as if she was a part of him too. He could see her mind quickly working, however, and knowing what she was going to say even before she said it, he interrupted by adding on, "And all I ask for in return is information. A simple question really... all you have to do... is tell me... why you are unable to fall in love with your captor. That's it. Take my words for what they are dearie, for they can not be twisted." It was true enough, that's all he needed to know in order to uphold his deal with Rothbart. The sorcerer, in his rage, had failed to explain exactly what it was that he wanted Rumpelstiltskin to do. The implication was there, of course, but Rumpelstiltskin was never one to uphold his end of the deal on just assumptions... no, not when he could get in return was far more precious than what it is he had to do in return. "I don't care too much for the man either, *Princess*. Any information you can give me will only help *you* in the end. I have no interest in his wanting your hand, or your kingdom. I simply seek ways to destroy him, simple as that." He rubbed two fingers together, giving his hand occupation while he waited for her answer.

Daria leaned back in the black car that was driving her to stay at the lodge for a week. Her parents always did this, gave her sometime to hang out with whatever people she chose and they would join her at the end of it and the three of them would stay together for another week. Daria was pretty it was just so that they could have sex for a week straight but she wasn't going to complain. She got to go snowboarding at least once a year for full two weeks and got a week away from her parents to do as she wanted. She brushed her hair out of her face and put her feet up on the back of the passenger chair in front of her. Her chauffeur, Clyde, looked over his shoulder at her, "Are you excited to see your friends again, Miss Daria?" The girl smiled and thumbed the gold necklace around her neck, "Always. I only get to see them once a year... at least." She looked down at the necklace and smiled as she rose it to her lips. It had a funky little pattern on it that looked like some kind of language that the world seemed to have forgotten. Her parents had thought it might be a clue to who her parents were and hand a bajillion people look at it to figure it out but no one of them could pick out the language let alone translate it. She didn't even know where it came from... She liked to think that her parents gave it to her for whatever reason they left her in someone's backyard but... she couldn't remember. She couldn't remember anything about her life before this one. The doctors and psychiatrists that her parents had been sending her to over the years always gave sad looks saying how it must have been something so horrible for her to suppress every single memory she had before the age of six, so much so to even forget her own name. Daria dropped her necklace back to her chest when the car slowed to a stop in front of a very familiar ski lodge. She had been her once every year since she was adopted. It was a kind of 'Yay we're a family' celebration. Daria always liked coming here because there were two girls who were adopted the same year she was that worked her. They kind of all bonded over that when they first met. She flicked her hair over her shoulder and walked into the building, leaving Clyde to bring in her things. When she got to the front desk the woman behind it handed her her room key, "Here you are, Daria." The girl smiled, it was sweet being recognized everything seemed a little more special when it had her name attached to it. She didn't have to wear or carry around one of the hideous VIP badges, everyone just knew and if they didn't... Well, they learnt pretty damn quick. Daria drummed her fingers on the desk and the woman laughed a little, "I believe they went for an early morning ride down the mountain," She looked at her watch, "They should be heading in any second. Those girls hate to disappoint their father." Daria grinned, "Thanks," She said and ran out the door that led to the ski lift and nearly ran into the pack of people outside the door. She managed to avoid it though and more so joined the group rather than barging in. She saw Anna and Eliza and grinned, "Hey!" She said to them both happily before hugging them. She then took in the rag tag team they had assembled, "I see... You've made friends."

~Lake Tahoe, California~ _I’m Annelise Brie and that’s my sister, Elisa Brie. It’s nice to meet you_ River smiles, dropping her hand back down by her side. She still grips her snowboard with the same force as before, but this time it is more out of nervousness. “I am so sorry that I crashed into your sister,” she tells Anna. “I was just so excited to get on the mountain. I had no idea that you were the owner’s daughters. Do I need to do something?” she asks nervously. “Do I need to pay for damages or anything?” At that moment Dustin walks up and River looks at him. He definitely looks out of place among the snow and cold. His tanned skin seems dark among the snow and she smiles softly. Water is more of her element, but she could do just as easily on snow. ---- Peter raises an eyebrow as he hears the laugh. He looks to his left and his right. There’s no one there. So, he looks over his shoulder and sees a young girl standing there. She looks gorgeous and Peter immediately flushes dark red and faces back forward. From the looks of how the line was going and how many people were there, they were probably going to ride up with each other. He takes a deep breath and looks over his shoulder again. She probably thought he was a freak for looking at her so… unsubtlety. He smiles quietly before facing back forward. The line begins to move forward and he notices that he and the girl are next in line for the lift. So they are going to have to sit next to each other. He coughs and says, “Um, hi. My name is Peter Trent and I couldn’t help but notice you didn’t have a snowboard or skis with you?” He hopes that he doesn’t sound too impolite for asking, but he was curious at the moment. When you’re at a ski resort, you normally have ski things with you and this girl did not. He smiles kindly at her, waiting for an answer. --- Ursula waves the trident over the bowl and a sudden splash comes up toward her. The power of the trident surges through her and she laughs maniacally, staring down into the bowl. A peculiar thing happens though. Rather than showing Triton, a picture of a beautiful lake comes up instead. She looks down into the bowl and sees the Dark One. She growls and stares into the bowl. He seems to be talking to a cursed princess. One that she does not recognize. Ursula frowns and draws back, setting the trident down next to her. Why would the Dark One be talking to a cursed princess? This is not his curse, she knows this. The Dark One has not cursed someone out of spite in a very long time. She peers into the bowl once more before a realization dawns. The Dark One is the one who took Triton from her in the first place. She needs him to tell her where he is. She growls again and waves her hand over the bowl, dismissing the image. She leans back in her chair, contemplating what exactly she would need to lure him into a trap into giving up Triton’s location. She then smiles, a thought popping into her head. She would make him an offer that he couldn’t refuse. --- “Hooke!” a screeching voice comes from the cabin. Captain Hooke flies up in bed just to see one of his crewmen storm through the door, followed by a very angry looking merchant. The merchant stands with his arms across his chest. Hooke rubs his eyes. “’ello mate,” he says with a pirate’s curtesy. “What can I do for you?” “You tell your scallywag crew that they may steal from me, but they may not harass my daughters!” the man snarls. He draws a sword. “Considering that you are their captain and I must defend my daughters’ honors, I challenge you, Captain James Hooke, to a duel. To. The. Death.” Captain Hooke chuckles as he climbs to his feet. He draws his sword and with one stroke, he bats the merchant’s sword out of his hand and forces the poor man to his feet. Hooke stares down at him, any dark amusement that was formerly in his eyes gone now. He stares down at the man menacingly. “Get this through your thick skull, _mate_,” Hooke snaps. “What my crew does on their own time is none of my concern. They can pillage, plunder, and do whatever they like when they are not on my watch. If they did something to you in their own time, take it up with them, not me. Savvy?” He drops the sword away from the man’s throat. “Now get out of my sight.” The merchant jumps to his feet and runs away. He turns to the crewman who is still standing in the room. Hooke smiles. “Just proves that you never mess with Captain James Hooke.”

Rapunzel jumped at the sound of someone clearing their throat. She looked up at the guy in front of her to see him looking at her. She had noticed him looking at her a little before and was curious about it. Normally, she was the one staring (no matter how much Agatha told her not to... There was just so many things that she didn't get about people) it was different being the one who was being stared at and that peaked her curiousity. She wondered what it was about her that made him stare. Maybe her hair? People always found her hair strange. _Um, hi. My name is Peter Trent and I couldn’t help but notice you didn’t have a snowboard or skis with you?_ She made a bit of a face, "Is it that strange? Was that why you were staring," Rapunzel gasped and sucked on her bottom lip, "Sorry... I wasn't suppose to notice that," She laughed a little, "Honestly, I don't really know how to ski... or snowboard... _or_ really get on this lift... I've never done any of this before and I'm not with anyone that I can try it all out with. But I figured I'd try it... I'm sure it there is a great view up there and I was hoping to paint it or draw it... _or_ both," She adjusted her bag on her shoulder a little as she noticed she had begun to ramble. She brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, "I'm Rapunzel... Just Rapunzel," She gave him a small smile. People always asked for a different name, a real name, not a nickname and it always led to the less than comfortable conversation about how she didn't know her real name. She played with her long braid a little before she flicked it over her shoulder, "It's fitting." She looked ahead at the lift in front of them and waited a moment, "So... Do you know how to do this thing?"

Annalise took a moment to detach her board from her feet and, thrusted it down into the snow like her sister Elisa did she then took off her goggles and slipped them down into her pocket. Getting a better look at Baeden she couldn't help but laugh along with his boss as well who was cackling like a hyena and turned to look towards August for a moment before shaking her head in amusement. *“Enough Anna!”* Hearing Elisa yell at her Annalise quickly shut up after making so many jabs at her in the last few minutes and put both hands over her head in a mock act of surrendering. "Alright, alright i'll stop with the love life jokes. Besides you still owe me lunch, but looks like we will have to do it another day." *“I am so sorry that I crashed into your sister, I was just so excited to get on the mountain. I had no idea that you were the owner’s daughters. Do I need to do something? Do I need to pay for damages or anything?"* Annalise turned to look over at River, she smiled at her and shook her head. "No not at all, my sister is oblivious at times. If you ever need anything just tell us and we can get it to you and any lessons go to Elisa, she is the pro snowboarder here." Annalise said with a soft smile. Annalise turned her attention towards Baeden seeing him showing off his VIP pass and nodded towards him they were hideous to wear and could understand he had it in his pocket. "I guess everything is on the house for you while you stay here, and like I said if you ever need anything come and ask me and i'll get it to you. Or any lessons as well see my sister." *"Uhh excuse me? Yah umm. Could any if you help me here? Really out of my element here. I have no idea what I am doing with all this. I can't even ski or snowboard. Oh! I'm Dustin and my folks banished me here to get me out of Vegas."* Annalise turned to hear another male's voice and blushed slightly seeing how attractive he was, she was quickly shaken out of her thoughts when she heard Elisa laugh with his Ghostbuster's reference to the large amount of warm clothes which did make him much larger then he really was. "Uh yeah theres lots to do other then hitting the slopes, though I don't think that would be something you are interested in." Annalise said and went to extend her hand towards him. "I'm Annalise by the way our father owns the lodge. We do have hot tubs in the building or go to some events in town if you want to do that as well." She smiled towards him. "Hey! I see... You've made friends." Annalise turned around as she was hugged and smiled as she recognized the voice her friend Daria who came up to visit once a year. It was great to hear friend her friend and quickly returned it. "Hey Daria! Long time no see." Annalise smiled looking around the small group that assembled in the last five minutes and giggled. "I guess Elisa and I kind of skidded into the Frosty over there, and then River bumped into Elisa, and over there is Dustin the living Marshmallow Monster." Annalise informed her taking off her red wool beanie brushing the white lock of hair out of her face. "How long will you be here for this time?" Annalise asked.

This was going much better than he had expected it to go. He had expected more of them to be laughing at the city boy. Maybe he did not need so many layers. He did look like the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man. It was not his fault he had lived his entire life in or around the Mojave Desert. He had only known the desert and now he was here. It was so dull round here. There were no bright flashing lights to distract him. Just snow. It was not all bad though, he thought as he noticed Annalise smiling at him. He could still work his charm. He smiled back and nodded. "Well I hope you all have proton packs. I may need them after I'm frozen to the core. "He joked back over towards the other girl. He looked back at Annalise. "Really? Well I would love to do any of those things. Course I would need someone to go with. Would love if you went with me. " He said still smiling. "I promise I won't wear all these layers for a hot tub. I'm use to the hot temps. " He said having no idea what to do.
