Biography (Before Earth):
Now here a tale as old as the sands.
The wise sultan of the golden city of Ashkari had no heirs of his own nor a wife since his own beloved wife had died many years before.
So in desperation he sent a messenger to the Crone in the Desert to beg her help in this matter.
The old woman came to the sultan and told him that his heir shall not be of his own blood, but the city will give him the heir he so desired
She told him to seek a child pure of heart in an unclean area, a jewel among rocks. There he will find his heir.
The sultan's men search the city until one day, a small boy no older than six stole a loaf of bread in the market. The guards gave chase until they saw that the bread was vanishing yet the boy did not eat it. They hide and notice that the child was giving the bread away to beggars and similar until none remained for himself. The guards drag the boy before the Sultan and explain what they had seen.
The Sultan remembered what the old old woman had said about purity and knew this was a sign. He ordered the boy released and went to work trying to reshape him into a ruler for clearly this had to be his prince. He taught the child how to read and write and started to teach him how to use a sword.
However they would not have very long at all. For less than a year later the Crone returned and warned the Sultan of a coming evil. He must hide his new son or the boy would become a slave. She warned him the child would not return before his 18th birthday.
The Sultan ordered with a heavy heart that the boy be taken by night to the Cave of Power. He gave the boy a medallion that was said to hold a strong djinn and told the child to be strong before the cave whisked the boy away.
Biography (Life On Earth):
Now another story is coming to my mind. Listen:
For once there was a pair of young people living in the city of Las Vegas. They wanted for one thing in this world, a child. They could not have one of their own and were denied for adoption many times.
One day they chose to take a trip into the Mojave desert to get their minds off their woes. As they drove the wind began to howl and seemed to be pushing their car to the side of the road. Then a dust devil kicked up right next to their car.
The wife was the first to notice a figure in the storm. The figure was a tiny little boy and when the storm died down they could see his face and terror it held. The boy began to cry for a reason he could not remember.
The pair saw this as a sign. That this boy was meant to be theirs to raise. They gave the child a name they thought would fit him , Dustin. He seemed to have a love for the desert even when young. He would never get lost when there.
The moons past and the seasons changed as did the boy. Around his 14th birthday his parents told him how they had found him in the desert. He did not care and told them they were his parents no matter what. Yet he feels there is more out there. He does not know what.
