They see them as less then animals and something to use for amusement or training. Korrigan's field of thought i very against the flow for his lineage. Plus, a grand majority of them are sadistic, cruel, and love to sow havoc and chaos. They the most feared House in Lugere, and have full control of it's military endeavors.

He'd give her a free room in his estate, after all he can't let a lovely lady sleep out there in the wilderness. Since the Estate is kept warm with the help of a Chandelure and a Lampent, it's quite warm.
