Anyway, so let's say that at this point the Aeon Brood has progressed to 5% of the distance from their entry point to the galactic core (about 5000 lightyears), and that they have consumed 8e-10 of the entire galaxy (about 700 stars). There's really no sense in me continually updating with, "Yes, the Brood is still eating things," so let's say that it's a constant progress, regardless of if I'm posting or not.
Let's also note that this is an exponential process. For every system that is devoured, enough mana is harvested to birth a Brood large enough to devour three other systems. The longer they are ignored, the harder they will be to stop.
