Soooo CS in progress. won't be done until tomorrow
Name: Anhkor Sterat (pronounced Ster-AH)
Age: 32
Height/Weight: 71 inches, 185 pounds. I don't feel like converting into metric.
Occupation: Corporate Agent and Assassin. Working for one of the most influential resource companies in the city, allied a hidden Anti-Lei'Loni agenda...
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Physical Description:
Personality: Anhk displays fewer emotions than most, typically hiding his anger and sorrow under a mask of polite joviality. Those in the know might mistake him as a Forgotten in fact, even though he is not. He avoids getting angry as his temper is legendary, the wrong situation can ignite him into violence very easily, and has almost gotten him killed many times before. Casual oppression by the Lei'Loni is the biggest trigger for him, so he has attempted to remove himself from their presence as much as possible, and even works to undermine their power. He remains on good terms with other races, though he misunderstands Fallen as being unwilling to show emotions like him, rather than being entirely unable to.
With a solid goal in mind, he can block out any distractions and focus entirely on the objective, but this can lead to tunnel vision and being willing to risk everything for the sake of success, even a Pyrrhic one.
Quirks/Habits: Like a Forgotten, displays limited emotions. Partly as a result of his tendency to go out of control with anger. He harbors intense racism against the Lei'Loni, and avoids even looking at them if he can help it.
Skills: Despite being a human, a combination of Power Suit technology and physical fitness makes him incredibly agile and strong. In suit, he can match Forgotten in general ability, though not specific power. He attempts to make up for this with versatility, keeping a supply of gear to counteract a majority of situations. Given enough time and intel to prepare. He is accustomed to having a support team, and thus lacks capability in areas such as network security and intel gathering. Highly competent in close quarters to midrange combat.
Abilities:
Primary Armaments
His personal sword, crafted from Reso'Nan and with a unique Cyan Energy Core allowing it to envelop the blade in plasma for limited periods of time (A full charge will last a minute) While being made from "noisy" Reso, he enjoys the sound it makes when swung. The crossguard folds into a scabbard when not in use.
The Zenith Series Alteration Five is an advanced ballistics weapon. The modular platform allows for a heavy number of specialized components to be added or removed, notably silencers. It fires singular narrow bullets at high velocities with electromagnetic rail technology. Capacity of 12 shots. Carries two at all times, even and especially in civilian guise
Additional gear includes EMP mines, thermal grenades, motion detectors, and common weapons per mission requirement, such as a long distance rifle.
Anhk's Power Suit is a custom design put together by his company's engineers. Designed primarily to even the odds against synthetic lifeforms, it falls short of being able to match them in straight displays of power, but instead utilizes various specific countermeasures. In simple terms, it enhances everything about the human body, and includes significant personal energy shielding against core based weaponry. As well as an optical/thermal cloak, advanced targeting HUD, environmental shielding, and network link. Though deception is the name of the game for Assassins, it is not to be trifled with in one on one combat either, able to easily defeat an unprepared organic in a single blow.
Backstory: Anhkor grew up on the streets of one of the poorest sections of the city.Like many others, thievery and other crimes came natural as part of survival for him. He hid in the sewers, crafted blades, and killed others like him for food and supplies, it was no moral quandry, just survival. Perhaps he was better at hiding, sneaking, and killing, or perhaps he was just lucky, it isn't a time period he is fond of remembering. Lei'Loni soldiers frequently came through and exterminated those too poor to pay taxes, and any individuals like Anhk who were off the record entirely. Seeing them come through and kill others for what he saw as no good reason, began to build a hatred of the ruling class in him. On a foolish whim, he decided to sneak into the city proper, and attempt to harm the Lei'Loni in any way he could. Somehow, he made it in, and found a realm not nearly as terrible as the one he had left.
Landing odd jobs while he planned his future, he talked to many people, some who considered the Lei'Loni to be benevolent, some not, the differing opinions confused him, but he kept it to himself. Over the course of several years, he made it to a position as a waiter at a rather posh restaurant. While managing the dinner rush one evening, he overheard some rich humans talking about how they wanted to see a future where all races lived equally. Though he kept his feelings hidden for such a long time, he could not help but speak up to them, and asked about their plans.
The man told him about a startup company, one that would provide raw materials primarily to the army, but would be staffed and operated entirely by the lower races, where every member would be part of a plan for a new society. They would acquire intel on the Lei'Loni for an extremely long term plan. Though the man warned Anhk he would not likely see fruits of the plan in his lifetime, he offered a position.
Anhk joined up with the company, which ascended into profitability very quickly, and began creating their own hidden weapons development, spy, and assassination divisions. Anhk's past made him quickly lean towards a career as an Assassin, and the CEO's familiarity with him from before the company even officially founded made him the most prestigious in the division, if a bit of a loose cannon at times. He is not the most competent Assassin they have, (minor cronyism) but within the tight knit company, perhaps the most famous, answering directly to the CEO. For the past five years, he has undertaken a variety of missions, but is currently on downtime, while the small rebellion plans their next move.
