Interesting. Well. I'm trying to find information for my character then. I would like to play a elf race mix, but I don't actually recall Elf lore or fairy tales.

Well elves are basically a type of faerie, for background I mainly drew from Shakespeare for my depiction of Faeries. Basically in the RP, Oberon is the most powerful Fae alive and overlord of all Faeries but is usually uninvolved in politics. Under him are his two also very powerful wives who are more active. Titania who leads the Summer Court, made of the "nicer" Fae and Mab queen of the "meaner" Winter Court. Oberon's marriages to both stablize relationships between the Courts but both are still engaged in duplicitious and backstabbing politics. Elves, Orcs, and Dwarves among others are offshoots of the Fae and are usually autonomous but are still alinged with either court. You could use any folk lore or fairy tale for inspiration buts its perfectly valid for your character to be a mostly OC Elf. And half breeds are posible. The section on House Rose mentions their alliance with an Elf Nation, perhaps your character can be from there and a companion of the Sleeping Beauty?

Hiya, sorry for my absence, everytime I tried to get back in the guild was down. I'll have the edits you wanted finished, I do have some good ideas. Also, can we use the Characters tab that has been recently added? I think it would serve quite nicely in organizing the OOC and getting all the sheets together with less hassle, thoughts?

I'm just stuck on birthplace and personality now. If my character was born in the fae forest, where is that? I hope I haven't missed that in all the information. I just want to get everything right

There's a bunch of forests where a Fae could live but one of the biggest is in the Rose Marches. You could basically say anything though. And age for a Fae can be anything from teens to centuries haha

**Name:** Tori Freestone **Titles:** Currently does not have a title **Affiliation:** The Summer Court and House Rose but as a wandering mage, Tori offers her services where ever possible, learning what she can about magic. **Gender:** Female **Age:** 23, however, she appears both older and younger. **Birthplace:** Rose Marches (in, I think, The Empire of Europa). Origin: **Race:** Half Fae (Elf) and half human. **Appearance:** Tori is quite tall, and willowly. She is approximately 6 foot, and has skin darkened by the sun, giving her a golden brown colour. Her hair is long, reaching to the middle of her back, and blonde. Her features are typically elven, yet are smoothed out by human characteristics, and with a simple glamour she can appear complete human. Her eyes are a light, lively green. Her easy going nature, and ability to make people laugh caused people to like and adore her. She grew up admiring Lady Talia, and the challenges she had to face. Tori vowed that one day, she would be a great adventure, and help out where ever she could. On her 16th birthday, she was approached by a woman, Fae, from the Summer Court, who stated that her mother had died, and that her dying wish was for her daughter to know who she was. Tori approached her father about this, who revealed that her mother was indeed a member of the Summer Court, and that her mother, and himself, had had a brief liaison, resulting in Tori. Feeling betrayed and hurt, Tori took off, and wandered the land for a time, returning only after a year. She was just in time to reconcile with her father, as no less then a week later, he was injured and killed when a horse bucked. Unable to stay there, Tori agreed to go to the Summer Court, where she found out who her mother was, and just what she herself could do. From there Tori traveled, learning what she could, occasional returning to both her fathers home and the Summer Court. ------ I really hope I didn't forget anything, and that it is alright. I want to edit the appearance a bit.

Other than that, your character is accepted. If your character's mother had some kind of title or position, your character may stand to inherit it as well.

This is still open? I have stated my interest in the IC, but everytime I tried to come back, the Guild was down. So I left it alone for a couple of days. Glad to see it's working properly now.

Haha that was because I was using a Google doc, and using the OOC words as a constant reference instead of going back and forth. Forgot to edit that out, but then, it was late and I wanted to post it. Eager, you could say. I'm just on my way home, after being called into cover a night shift when someone went home sick. So before I catcch a few hours sleep, I'll edit that out and post it in the character tab

There is my CS in the Characters tab. I changed him into something like Orpheus reborn. I didn't change his name because I used it around fifty times within the CS so that was the most plausible way to keep the name, and to be honest I kind of like the idea. Besides that, I changed the paragraphing in my second paragraph of the Bio, which was challenging since it was a dialogue paragraph so forgive me if it looks a bit broken now.

I'm still lingering around. Haven't been up to much lately. Does anybody else have any plans for potential plot lines for their characters? I've got a vague idea on what I wish to do with mine. I'm mostly looking forward to some epic battles mainly.
