Neo-Umbrella's Siberian Warehouse Securing the warehouse was easy. There were only three guards still in there, and none of them had gas masks on. Securing them was a matter of ordering them down on the floor and dragging them out to Bernd and Julius. At Sergeant Jirich's orders, Clifford Nobles and Hampus the Red were marched out for interrogation. Private Bubonicus, taking charge of the interrogations, slapped Clifford and Hampus in handcuffs. "Answer me: who are you, and where did the people inside the pod on the roof go?" Hampus, being scared out of his wits, was entirely unable to respond to Bubonicus' questions, and merely babbled incoherently. Back inside the warehouse, Private Doppo Orochi managed to find Guts at the entrance to the lab. "Hey, you! Get down on your belly and put your hands behind your head!" Doppo growled, pointing his gun at Guts' head and standing a safe distance of twenty feet away.

If Hampus took to the tear gas and sudden assault by panicking, wheezing and sandbagging, Clifford reacted in a different but equally unhelpful manner. He started howling, dropping the gold coins he was holding and rolling around the floor, clutching at his eyes. He actually wanted to scream words, but the irritant in the gas wreaked havoc on his throat and he only managed a constant, pained shriek. Even when he was ordered to lie still he continued to roll around the floor crying, but since he didn't make a particularly threatening figure he was just dragged outside along with Hampus. When the interrogation began, he only managed to blurt out "I'M ON YOUR SIDE!".

Bubonicus reared back in surprise. These guys are the VIPs? They're so... so weak-looking! Now worrying for his career, Bubonicus swiftly uncuffed Clifford and Hampus, and helped them up. Saluting with his more intact hand, Bubonicus begged for forgiveness. "Please accept my apologies, sirs. I wasn't aware that you had taken it upon yourselves to infiltrate the enemy warehouse without our support. You must not have gotten a standard loadout, considering the circumstances, so we'll have to send you in with just what you were dropped with. Company orders, sir." Hampus, finally finding his breath, yelled at Bubonicus. "You normie bastard! How dare you poison and beat us! I will have your head for this!" Bubonicus, not the least bit intimidated, remained calm. "I am truly sorry, sir. Current orders were to secure the warehouse and any individuals inside. Since you were in the warehouse, you were secured. Please understand that we were just following orders. Here, catch your breath and I'll have the Lieutenant brief you on your mission." Meanwhile, back at the entrance to the lab, Private Doppo Orochi was still holding Guts up. Still keeping his eyes on his target, Doppo spoke into his headset. "Found the Roamer... and a locked door. I'm willing to bet that that's the entrance to the facility. Requesting permission to subdue Roamer with such force as necessary."

Guts heard a voice telling him to get down. Those militia men must have been hostile all along. Guts got angry; the situation went South way, way too fast. With a growl, he grabbed the oversized sword on his back, and swung in a wide arc towards the direction of the voice. Even the Dragonslayer's impressive length, however, wasn't quite enough to reach Orochi. Gritting his teeth, he braced the blade on his metal arm, and faced roughly where the sound came from. Holding it horizontally, he charged. The blade would serve well as an oversized lariat. Well, provided he could hit.

Despite it being many weeks since he had last managed to enact his strict training regimen, Private Doppo Orochi had not forgotten a moment of his extensive training in Karate. Letting his rifle clatter to the floor, Orochi leaped over the charging Guts and landed softly on his feet. Before Guts could stop and turn, Doppo directed a harsh kick to the base of Guts' knee. As Guts involuntarily fell into a kneeling position, Doppo took advantage of his momentum and drove his fist upwards into the base of Guts' neck, effectively incapacitating him. The red mist of pure instinct faded from Doppo's eyes as Guts crumpled like a wayward Slinky, and he quickly snatched his forlorn rifle up from where he had left. Carefully checking for any damage, Doppo once again directed his rifle at Guts. Feeling alive for the first time in a month, Doppo could barely contain the smug satisfaction in his voice. "Stay down, Roamer. Don't make this any worse for you."

Arragoz Plizgin - Da Muthership The Ork snorted, and very nearly broke into a fit of laughter in response to the humie's statement. "Dun' worry, ya git. I ate humie afore, tast'd zoggin' awful. Ya know, fer a Spess Muhrine, you'z don't 'ave much uvva fight in ya." In fact, Arragoz noticed that he barely even resembled one to begin with. The humie was puny, just like them Gardsmen, and his pauldrons weren't zog off 'uge either. If dis 'ooniverse's Spess Muhrines are dis puny 'n' weak, I wonda wot da rest're like? Prolly a buncha panzies like dem' Elfdars. Dis iz gunna be eazy. After spending a moment to quietly snicker to himself, the greenskin returned his attention to the humie captive. "Alroight den, movin' on. Lemme make sumfing clear to ya, if you'z answers some quest-shuns fer me, I'z wont krump ya. Simpul as dat. Furst, where's da enjin room, and da place where ya keep yer shootas and uvver flash bits? Wot else wuz dere, uh...." The Ork trailed off, only for Ridley's voice to suddenly resound in his ears through the communicator. Acknowledging his words with an "Uh huh, gotz it," Arragoz focused once more on the Spess Muhrine. "One more fing, ya git. Do you'z gots da vent planz?"

The girl paused when she heard about the theoretically kidnapped passenger. There were quite a few reasons that you might want to keep a secret prisoner in the civilian quarters, starting with the fact that it could get them to trust you some more if they were still being treated well. That would be useful for getting them to hand over sensitive information that you needed. Alternatively, it would generally not be your first place to look and would be more likely to have enough people to delay the search long enough to reinforce, as in this scenario. Neither of these are what the former Wolf-King said, instead going for, "What would your first thought be if someone formally loyal showed up on an enemy ship?" Though a turncoat should be kept as a prisoner anyway. Traitors were the worst kind of scum.

As soon as he was uncuffed Cliff jumped up, eyes still red and teary, and produced a rather lovely antique revolver seemingly from nowhere. "HAHA I'VE GOT YOU NOW!" he yelled to no one in particular as he aimed at nothing, a bit to the left of one of the SE soldiers. It was lucky his weapon looked like an old, pretty museum piece incapable of killing anyone with any sort of protection and that he himself looked so pathetic and out of it or he might've gotten himself shot or actually been forced to shoot his allies. "Oh...wait...we're actually, really on the same side aren't we? Why are we here again?" he asked the blur that he was certain was a soldier and not at all thin air.

Private Bubonicus nodded as the rather more able-looking Clifford showed both his willingness to fight and die, and his willingness to follow orders. Truly, this rather effette-looking fellow would be a useful soldier. "Our current mission is to track down and capture the Red Queen, a sample of the C-Virus, and Research Director Richard Simmons. Judging by your... equipment, I assume you're the specialists we were promised. In that case, you should take point, once the warehouse clears out. If you need any more information, talk to the Lieutenant." Private Doppo Orochi, grunting with effort, dragged Guts' body outside and over to the group of prisoners being kept by Julius and Bernd. As he got close, Doppo called out to them. "Hoi, I caught the Roamer! I'd say this man's prime material for recruitment, considering how he still had the guts to charge me while choking on tear gas." Second Lieutenant Julius Aldo examined Guts' bruised body. "You should be more careful, private. You've very nearly paralyzed this man for life!" Julius gently laid Guts down, and used his bedroll to keep Guts' head elevated. "We'll have to keep him here until he wakes up. In the mean time, I've got other prisoners to tend to. Private Orochi, go ahead back to the warehouse." As Doppo Orochi left, Julius turned to face the spectating security guards. "Alright, you four. Which one of you boys would like a change of employers?" As each man knew exactly what awaited them, should they return to Umbrella, each man decided to agree. "Hey, that's nice. In that case, you wouldn't mind helping us out a bit." Julius grinned like only a gorilla could, glad that today wasn't about to get any worse for him.

Guts' eye snapped open, and darted around to view his frosty surroundings. He jumped to his feet, slightly disoriented, and drew his oversized slab of iron. There was some hairy thing standing near him. Normally, Guts' first instinct would have been "Cleave and chop", but this one was talking to humans. Normal humans. "What the hell are you?" he asked, his only eye glaring with a smoldering anger.

Second Lieutenant Julius Aldo turned to face Guts, and sighed. Of course I get to deal with a Feudal. Stepping backwards a ways, Aldo spoke with an air of concealed superiority. "I am a gorilla... a great ape from a world far removed from your own. My name's Julius Aldo, Second Lieutenant of Platoon 67. I am also the one offering you an exciting job in the Shadow Eternity corps. Think about it... good food, good pay, exotic locales, time off every three missions... if this doesn't sound appealing to you, we'll be glad to send you back to... whatever place you found yourself teleported from. I'm assuming you didn't come here on purpose. Roamers like you rarely ever do." Julius carefully put his hand to his hip, and subtly wrapped his fingers around his sidearm. He didn't want to startle the poor primitive human, but he wanted to be sure that he had a way to get a shot off before it could charge him. If Doppo had his work cut out for him facing this savage, Julius didn't want it anywhere near him.

Guts grit his teeth, eyeing the monkey. It looked like something the Kushans would send. "I'm not interested in joining a group." Guts said, briefly remembering his experience with the Band of the Hawk. He'd probably intimidated the 'gorilla'; it was reaching for a... thing. It looked like some kind of handbow, probably. That only cast more doubt on the offer to ride somewhere else. Guts knew that when an offer was too good to be true, it probably was. Still... a harsh wind blew in from the tundra. Beggars couldn't be choosers. "You have a boat out of here, then?" he asked cautiously.

Julius wracked his brain for what to do when a primitive Roamer asks for something that would require showing them advanced technology. He vaguely remembered "draw parallels to what they already know" and decided to roll with that. "Yyyes, we do have a boat. It's a custom-built one, in fact. We'll use it to bring you back to... where are you from, exactly?" Meanwhile, back in the warehouse, Delta Squad formed up around the entrance to the facility's labs. A small array of breaching charges had been wired on each of the door's corners, leading to a small detonator in Private Ronly Jones's hand. "Alright," Pelinal Jirich announced to the squad, "blow charges in 3...2...1!" With an ear-shattering BANG!, the door was blown open. Cool air blowed into the facility's halls as the last residual particles of tear gas settled down. Jack Morgan smiled gently and spoke into his comms. "Gamma Squad, you take point. Silverback's got himself a little informant, I hear. Everyone, maintain radio contact at all times; if I don't hear anything from you, we're assuming you're in trouble."

"How the hell should I know where we were? Somewhere on the ocean." Guts responded. This guy was unlikely to be able to take him to Elfheim. At the very least though, he could take him to civilization, and he could find leads. "Look. Where am I now? What's the biggest city, go-rilla?" he asked, his mouth unused to this new word.

Julius massaged his temples with his hands. This was going to be harder than he thought. "It doesn't matter what the biggest city here is, you're not going to it. This isn't... alright, listen: this isn't your... country. If you went to a city here, you'd stick out like a sore thumb and get lynched or something. This is something we're trying to avoid, as well... we're foreigners, you see. Just... tell me the name of whatever pile of dirt and incest you call a homeland, and we can send you packing back there."

Soundwave - Somewhere in Yggdrasil: After seeing the enemy attackers flee, Soundwave immediately went to release the lock down. There was no longer a need to prevent the spread of an attack, and he could focus on more important things. That said, he was interested in what went on in the restaurant district. This of course would have created a dilemma. Should he stay and work on the computer system, or should he investigate the location of the recent attack. Luckily for him, he could do two things at once. As Soundwave closed the window displaying the camera feed of the restaurant district, a section of armor on his chest began to move.
Folding and flying off of Soundwave's chest, Laserbeak already knew what his objective would be. He didn't need to be told by Soundwave, as they were symbiotic and the small minicon heard and saw everything Soundwave did. It hovered in the air for a moment, plotting a route, before zooming down the hallway towards it's destination. It's large size would force it to take a path down the wider hallways, prolonging it's journey. As the robotic bird zipped through the tower's hallways towards the restaurant district, it let out a synthesized high-pitch winnow to alert any that might be in it's path. Although the noise was not very loud, it was deemed to be adequate enough to avoid a collision.
Back with Soundwave, the silent warrior continued to type away at his screen. He constantly monitored the entire station to look out for various things that may pose a threat, and at the same time he made sure to sort out any glitches that popped up from time to time before they caused any confusion or damage.

Daijuji Kuzaku Seeing that the recovery efforts were underway, Kuzaku breathed another sigh of relief. It was good being a part of an efficient organization. These people had some decent sense about them when it mattered. Now that those matters were settled, he could pay mind to taking care of himself. Even so, he wasn't sure where to start on finding someone that could assist him with his visions. He also wasn't about to openly ask about that sort of thing. No one around him seemed like a mage of any sort, and he doubted that a person not as deeply involved with magic as he was could empathise with his situation. He consulted Saber with a veiled version of his inquiry. "Saber, I think I incurred a... magical wound of some nature. Do you know of any healing mages on Yggdrasil?" --- Kiss-Shot And so it was revealed that this strange girl of unknown origin and immense power also had no idea what was going on. Kiss-Shot was honestly getting really tired of not having any of her questions answered. The more ridiculousness she was put through, the more mysteries arose, and the fewer that were actually resolved. She rubbed her temples tiredly. This was giving her a headache. "Well," she began, in a stressed voice. "Dost thou remember where thy bedroom is meant to be? Where thee fell asleep?" --- Giorno Giovanna As one subordinate left, two more entered. Two surly individuals of ill reputation. Giorno was loathe to deal with them, but this had been ordered from his higher-ups, and he wasn't one to argue with superiors. At least, not while they still had an advantage over him. Once he had the advantage, well, they wouldn't be his superiors for very long. "Please, come in, have a seat." He said to the men in an amicable tone. "I will be directing this operation personally. I seem to have an issue with reliability in my underlings, and as such I will be enforcing the success of this mission. This is our target." From the stack of papers on his desk, he handed them a photograph of a metal coffin. "We will be extracting this item unharmed, and with an absolute minimum loss of life. We will be leaving in..." He checked the grandfather clock in the corner of his office, "Ten minutes. Are there any questions before we depart?"

Charlotte - Research Facility
The little critter had a wide grin on its face, expressing a lot of happiness of their recent victory and couldn't help but giggle when Cinder expressed her satisfaction to her colleague. The little witch drooled randomly as she followed Cinder Fall to the containment room she had previously visited, only to grab a hold of the coveted tool the semi-witch desperately wanted as a result of this mission as well as Charlotte for the cheese making properties it could wield according to Cinder. Walking through the ruined facility with many dismembered cadavers littering more areas than others, Charlotte curiously looked at the few agonizing scientists who had the misfortune of surviving the encounter. It was almost as if she understood what she did was wrong, but as a bubble displaying A Gyarados snorting an earth worm popped over her head and of course exposed itself in Cinder's clear area of sight, the Witch got excited over the sight of the ship they had used to arrive. Sprinting to it before entering the piece of metal, she dived over at the controls in haste of leaving this boring, cheese-less place. "FASTER CINDER!!!!!!! CHEESE AWAITS!"
Meta-Ridley - GFS Mothership's outer shell
With Arragoz's acceptable response, the metal dragon felt a bit liberated with the idea that a Space trooper could be heard whimpering through the speakers. It at least proved that Arragoz was capable of getting something out of the guy's battle suit, or at least Faures would do that if the Ork wasn't aware of it. Peering over at the adversaries who often flinched despite the absence of Ridley. They all wore masks, but it was clear the the dragon's notoriety and blatant size would frighten quite a few. Out of the blue he randomly charged at a GFS soldier on his right, plunging in his claws right off the bat. With this first death there were already waves of gunshots thrown at Ridley, none of them making consequent damage due to the monster's robotic body and plasma core defenses. Using the body he had just stabbed, he had a shield for the more vulnerable parts of his body. With this established, he allowed himself a second to charge a large amount of energy into his mouth. The body he was using was already torn apart in that small second by the erratic shots thrown by the frightened marines. The red energy was fully charged in Ridley's mouth and thus allowed him to release a beam of enhanced plasma energy and directing it in a horizontal line to take out at least a dozen of them who were in Ridley's line of sight. Most who were hit had a large portion of their armor vaporized while many others had suffered high levels of trauma. Half were wiped out by a single shot, prompting others to cease fire for a second and regroup behind metal foundations. The PED soldiers wielding Phazon enhanced weaponry tinkered with the machinery integrated in them. About three quarters of the remaining cast of soldiers had been enveloped in a blue, intimidating aura which boosted their fire power and their durability. Ridley recognized that power without even seeing it, that same power that corrupted him many years back. With that in mind, the dragon took flight but stayed low, propelling himself in jet speed to the edge of the ship's facet and flew down under the mothership. The troopers were left confused as to what Ridley was doing, little did they know what direction he would pop out of and mercilessly bombard them in blind genocide. In the meantime, he delivered another ray of plasma energy on the ship's walls, inflicting superficial but provoking damaging nonetheless.
Corporal Faures - The GFS Mothership
Faures and his guys had finished doing their job and only waited for their boss' signal. "Ah erm.... The Engine room is down below near the propellers, I swear!" Said the frightened GFS soldier to the ork's face. Faures had of course received the same message Arragoz did earlier, prompting the man to walk up to the Ork's hostage and take action. He'd simply press on the marine's portable computer integrated in a gauntlet-like piece of technology they probably used as a handy holopad to get around. Upon pressing it a small data card popped out, allowing Faures to take it and insert it in his own communication pad. The many plans of the ship were there, including the different rooms the air locks were connected to. The engine room was of course not in the lower levels, but rather there were three of them scattered in different levels, though were still somewhat close to each other. Pointing at that detail that the Ork could likely understand considering the greenskin's life habits, Faures anticipated what the creature would do to the lying hostage. Meanwhile, the admiral of the GFS mothership had been alerted of the attack and had made a diagnosis of the situation. Though unaware of the stealth approach of the assault, he considered Ridley's presence bad enough to take drastic measures. One of the operators in the gargantuan control room had activated a hologram in the center of the room as they contacted what appeared to be another world altoghether. "Tanngrisnir, this is the GFS Archangel, we are being assaulted by what we believe to be Shadow Eternity agents, do you read me? Over. Requesting Backup NOW!"

Nono, Restaurant District, Yggdrasil Nono quickly reached the decision that the man was sincere, since he wasn't bleeding out or otherwise indicating that he had serious injury. His grip was strong as she helped him to his feet, but fortunately robotic strength helped there. With him back on his feet, she stepped back, since he didn't need any more assistance. "Yep," she agreed, looking around the area before her attention returned to the strange man who was calling for Enkidu, who was apparently the other guy. "Fortunately, me and Onee-sama were able to handle it, along with everyone else." It was a foregone conclusion as far as she was concerned, since grunts like those had nothing on space monsters, and she was certain Saber could take anything She started then, realizing that she hadn't introduced himself, and spun about as she beamed once more at the strange man. "Oh, I'm Nono. What's your name," she asked with an almost salute, filling common courtesy. It wouldn't hurt to know who'd helped out, at least in reports.
Cinder Fall, (Other) Research Facility Prize in hand, Cinder made her way back to the ship with a satisfied air, though the aura she radiated, besides her actual Aura, had more than a few frays at the edges. She hadn't expected trouble, but the UMMA just had to interfere with one of their lackeys, didn't they? And it had actually been a decently challenging fight, which was frustrating. Still, she shouldn't be too angry. They would learn, in time, and then she would complete her goal. For now, she had to focus on leaving this place, and returning to the base. And they did that then as they moved along. Cinder did notice the bubble Charlotte threw up, the little creature. She didn't care if the Witch felt bad, so long as she did what she was told. That was the only thing that really mattered. At last they arrived at the ship, Cinder entering it as a more sedate pace than her companion. She walked over to the control and sat down, shooing Charlotte out of the way at the same time. "Yes dear, let's be going," she replied as she manipulated the controls. With her command given, the door slid shut and the vessel rose, cloaking once more as it headed out of the atmosphere and back to the Shadow Compact base, their mission now complete. With the coordinates keyed in, Cinder could relax a bit, and she was very satisfied at the moment as they returned home. One step closer to her goal.
Misaka 10032, (Macross) Misaka stood there, unmoving, as she looked over the crowd. They did seem friendly, or at the very least curious, but at the moment she still supported the suggestion that Kakine had presented. That was overridden though by her companions comment, and her head tilted slightly to the side as she looked at him. "'I disagree with that statement,' Misaka replies to Kakine's comment in a hurt tone," Misaka said, to act in defense of the original Misaka Mikoto. "'Our older sister may be reckless, childish, and may have anger management as well as other emotion issues, but she is still a satisfactory role model for us,' Misaka says, defending her older sister." She then straightened up, and turned her attention back to Marisa, to address her comment about the people. "'Our instructions were to observe," Misaka explains as she attempts to persuade Marisa," Misaka said. "We cannot adequately observe if we are the center of attention." That was true enough, but she wasn't sure if the witch would accept that reasoning.

Neo-Umbrella's Siberian Facility Entrance Hallway What greeted Squad Gamma was a scene of carnage. Rotten chunks of zombie flesh and BOW bits were strewn everywhere, evidently severed by a weapon too large to be wielded by any regular human. Gawking at the scene in disgust, Sergeant David Leatherhoff reported in. "Advance team, here. We've got evidence that the scientists have been turning. The bodies don't look like they were turned by the C-Virus; I guess this lab's got samples of every damn bioweapon these whitecoats could get their hands on. Private Orochi, you said you caught a Roamer. What was he wielding, perchance?" "Ah, nothing but a greatsword and a crossbow. What state are the bodies in?" "Cleaved apart by massive shear force. I'm seeing a few bolts in one of the Lickers, too." "That must be our man, then. Silverback, remember to screen this guy for possible infection." Leatherhoff looked around the hallway. It was a fairly generic affair, with rooms on each side leading to another airlock. In total, there were about nine doors, not including the one the squad came through. David Leatherhoff nodded, and signaled his two squaddies to move to the doors immediately to the left and right. "Alright, I'm gonna need two more squads in here to sweep every room. Alpha and Zeta, that's you. Beta and Epsilon, you'll stay up top to ensure we don't get any unwanted attention. Eta and Delta, I'm going to need you on standby. Judging by the welcome wagon, I'd say whatever is in this lab isn't going to be very accommodating. Switch ammo to Incendiary, please. I don't want any of us to blow this whole damn place to kingdom come because a shockwave activated some experimental bombs."
