What system is Simmons using to make the zombies and such not attack Umbrella personnel? Last I checked, C-Virus zombies aren't very discriminatory. Of course, I only played through half of RE6 so I might be wrong.

No, no zombies and BOWs in general aren't very discriminatory. It's why pretty much every Umbrella facility turns into abject disaster, along with sheer incompetence or outright sabotage from people related to Umbrella.

I finally got through Steins;Gate after having it on my backlog for ages, and whoa. Just as good as everyone around me hyped it up to be. I'm now half motivated if we can have a minor arc in the future revolving around the Steins;Gateverse. Would it be a possibility in the future?

It's a really good series- I'd very highly recommend you watch it if you get a chance. Alternatively, play the VN. It's not an action-y series, though. Which would probably make for a nice change of pace.

Well, I'm certainly not planning on making everything action-based. I guess I'd have to know what an arc like that would entail, really. For the moment I'm holding out on IC ways to wrap up the current conflicts. ^^;

Uh... Let's see what I can say without saying anything about how the story plays out... Let's put it in a hider, actually. It's a very vague plot overview that gives a basis of what I'm using my ideas for.

Pseudo-spoiler except Not Quite?

So in Steins;Gate the main cast (Okabe, Daru, Mayuri, Kurisu) find out that the Future Gadget No.8 that Okabe and Daru have created is able to send text messages back into the past. Stuff happens, Okabe finds out that when the timeline shifts, he retains memories of events from other timelines, etc;. Then it gets upgraded into a machine that can send memories into the past. Stuff happens. This is a very vague overview of Steins;Gate that honestly does it no justice. Watch it on your own time, but for now this small overview will do. Anyhow, what I had in mind was that these characters who have traveled over multiple universes already have what Okabe dubs his 'Reading Steiner' aka ability to keep memories over timelines, so they end up in the Steins;Gate world in order to secure/destroy/whatever the Phone Microwave for their own purposes. I ain't spoiling the rest of the story, alright? :I

Why we should probably not go to Steins;Gate

I get that you enjoyed time-travel microwaves, PKMNB0Y, but how exactly would we do that? Like, the whole VN's plot hinges on time travel and a really weird interpretation of Many Worlds Theory, and people can just jump timelines and completely bypass the whole plot by skipping straight to perfect timeline because we can travel to every iteration of the Steins;Gate timeline anyways right off the bat. Add to that how just about everyone has superpowers that would completely trivialize fighting off the Committee of 300 or the cast, were anyone to feel like doing so, and it just seems like it'd be a bit dull. Furthermore, what reason would anyone have for going there? I mean, I don't think any of our characters has a dead girlfriend that we're desperately trying to save via convoluted time shenanigans, and if we have every universe to pick from then the characters can probably get their hands on some tech that allows for time shenanigans with far less hassle, such as the Alpha Suit, or a DeLorean, or a Timepod, or the one from Twelve Monkeys, or the one from the Time Machine. Something that doesn't cause anything over a given weight limit to disintegrate into green silly putty, at least.
