Alright, first off, I was approached by RoleplayerRoxas privately. I am appointing him to be my co-GM as of now. I apologize to anyone else who asked, but if I find myself in need of further co-GM's I will consider you. In addition I'm updating the character list and I want to know if there's anything that I can reply to in the RP for the moment. Beyond the recent posts, in case I miss something.

I have a question. I was going over the IC, and sometimes worlds are listed with a string of numbers. Are these worlds from like an actual game or show or something, or just generic backgrounds until you start doing stuff?

The UMMA, for convenience's sake, gives a serial number to worlds. Usually this is only for uninhabited-by-sapient-life worlds.

They're not, except the one with Kakine, Misaka, and Marisa. Which I assume just hasn't given itself a name for the UMMA yet.

In Marisa and co's case, wouldn't it just be easier to call it where you are, then? It's confusing to read it and not be sure where you are. Like, if you were in the Mushroom Kingdom, for example, you should just say you're in the Mushroom Kingdom. If you list a string of numbers, you'd have to either answer the question when somebody asks, or create a page of info that shows which numbers are designated to which worlds.

I'm only using that because Flamelord started with that. ^^; I admittedly forgot to correct him and wanted it to be consistent so it was clear we were all in the same place. But honestly it would be a quick and easy fix so we'll do that now. It's funny you picked that example given what one of the scenes is.

Not a huge fan of combat, but I might take you up on that, Evans. EDIT: As for side factions, maybe something like, now this is just off the top of my head, The United Trans-Universal Sultanate of Bey-Gaush, a highly territorial semi-republican empire that does not regard either SE or the UMMA as legitimate authorities, known for strong-arming nearby universes into joining up with their empire. Their military power, while less than the collective might of the UMMA or SE forces, is still enough to be considered a major threat by both sides because neither faction can spare the men needed to actually fight a war with the Sultanate. As such, missions in Sultanate-controlled universes are a lot less focused on shooting mans and a lot more focused on lying low, wheeling-and-dealing with the local authorities, and not pissing off the natives because the cavalry won't be coming in to save your ass if you screw things up.

The Foundation for the Utilization of Extrauniversal Resources (FUER) stands with anyone who believes that any important resources and technologies that can be found in a universe should be used to the fullest extent, at the expense of the native universe's livelihood. The FUER is spread throughout the multiverse, stealthily subjugating any useful planets and working mainly through cloak-and-dagger tactics. That corrupt CEO might be FUER, or he might be being manipulated by a FUER operative further down the totem pole.

Regarding side-factions: If you wanted to say that they are actually are a multiversal agency, you could flesh out the TSAB as a UMMA-friendly side faction. As for original factions, hmm... maybe some sort of religious group that believes that each world in the multiverse has a fragment of some sort of ur-scripture hidden in its own legends. Their goal would be to spread their own faith as wide as possible, so that they could find more fragments. They could be friendly or a bit to overzealous, depending on how you want to swing it.

The point was more that they hate both sides so both sides have to tread carefully in their zone of influence to avoid starting a war, so SE/UMMA conflicts in TSAB space are a lot less combat and a lot more cloak-and-dagger than they otherwise would be. Another could be a cult dedicated to the multiverse's Anti-Monitor equivalent, empowered by something that exists beyond the bounds of the multiverse and hellbent on creating a gateway for it to come through and eat everything. No matter how many you wipe out, there's always another cell, and their presence is the one thing that can consistently call a ceasefire between SE and UMMA forces, because come on there's not much point fighting over the multiverse if there's no multiverse to fight over, though I admit I'm suggesting this mostly because I'm a sucker for "people that hate one another team up against a worse threat" scenarios, like with the Tyranids or the Borg.
