Wont work on Grimm - Aura requires a soul, and they have none. However, for people like Cinder Fall and Torchwick... I could see it. @Santa - Salvia has landed, and there is an opening for your character and hers to pair up.

It could work, but it'd require a bit of nerfing. If it has the aura-stealing effect then it should be touch-based, and if he absorbs too much then there should be some downside. (Keeping with the battery theme, like what happens if you over charge something too hard.)
