@King TaiHmm, not sure. As someone who was raised in spanish and italian, latin languages sound so much nicer :D True, there are even plenty of words that are pretty similar
@Zorogami lol that's actually my favorite non-fighting scene lol and how does that work for you all? I think it does the same for when we use words from other languages but I don't think anyone really look at it the same way here though.
@King TaiAw, we just steal them outright, don't even change pronunciation or anything xD A few notable examples: Event, hipster, cool, touchscreen, homepage, location...
@Zorogami fair enough lol and yeah I've heard in other countries English is pretty much the second language....not in all but in some. I've thought about visiting Germany but...I think it's the fear that I'm African American coming to a European country that may not have many Blacks there (Don't know if Germany have many Blacks along with some other European countries.) and don't know how I'll be treated.
@King TaiWell, you should not let that thought hold you back! There aren't that many african americans in Germany, but still quite a few, and normally there is no violence against minorities to speak of. Germany is a lot of fun, you should try and visit it if you get the chance :)
