[IC] Camp for Supernatural Teens

Chris slowly walked up into the camp wit his bag on his shoulder. He was nearing the fire as he heard someone say something about a Dare. The campers must just be playing Truth or Dare by the fire as far as he knows. He shrugs and heads over to the fire and stands a bit off as he watches, curious.

There was a group ahead. Julia shrugged to herself and walked over, curiousity having won. Vanessa had kept walking, but was completely immersed in her technology and not paying attention to where she was walking, the world completely blocked out.

"Who would like to go next?" The counselor asked.

Chris shrugs and heads over to the fire, raising his hand. "I'll go next. But what are we doing? Truth or Dare?"

Devon turned to the sound of a new voice. "Sounds about right. Oh, but you gotta introduce yourself first. Name, age, power and stuff. Nice hair, by the way." Taking a moment to look over the recent arrival, the blue-eyed teen wondered a bit about him. He seemed kind of pale, or was that just the effect of the hair color. I wanna call him something snow-related for some reason. But only if I can't remember his name later. No, wait, that might be rude. In my head, then...

Chris smiles a bit at the comment. "Thank you." He thinks a bit more before looking around at everyone, a bit nervous. "My name is Chris Michelson. I am 16 years old..." He gulps a bit and sighs. "And i have the power of nullification... a rare ability to stop another person's powers from being used for a limited amount of time..."

"Now you must either tell us a truth or take our dare." The counselors announced. "Your question is have you ever regretted using your power?"

He nods slowly. "A few times yes I have regretted it. But it has saved my life many times. Now I will go with Truth."

You miss understand. The question was your truth. We are trying to simply get to know all of you." The counselors explained.

He shakes his head, then nods. "Very well then." He then takes an empty space by the fire for himself, kinda away from everyone else. He watches everyone and ponders what they will think. He whispers to himself, "I'm not a freak, I'm not a monster..."

Julia edged her way over. "Uh, hi. Am I late? Sorry I'm late."

"Oh?" Katsumi replied "And what if there powers are not derived from themselves, but an object, artifact, spirit, or the possibillity that they may not be human at all?" Katsumi asked..

Ashlyn noticed how timid this guy was, so she quickly went over and sat next to him. "Hi there!" she said, smiling.

Chris looks over at Katsumi and chuckles. "Doesn't matter, it locks any ability from being used through the person affected. So if you do use an object or are some other species, you wouldn't be able to channel the needed energy to produce any power." Chris looks at Ashley and smiles. "Hello." He holds his hand out to her to shake. "You may already know my name but I'll keep up on the whole formal thing. My name is Chris, may I ask what your name is?"

Alex, during all these introductions, was on the edge of his makeshift seat. These people were all very interesting, and had very interesting abilities. He found himself feeling slightly less than average and he wasn't sure if that made him happy or sad. To be in the camp in the first place made him special, but he almost felt out of place with the incredible abilities that these people had, and the control they had over them.

Ashlyn shook his hand and gave him a friendly smile. "My name is Ashlyn," she said, the smile never leaving her face. She was always friendly to everyone, and he was no exception.

Chris smiles back at her. "Nice to meet you Ashlyn." He looks around a bit and smiles more. "This is nice. Being around other people like me." He shakes his head and looks back at her, his smile not leaving now. "So what is your power? Bet it's something amazing." Him trying to be nice since now these are people that are nice to him, not like the ones hunting him.

Name, age, and power first, though!" It was kind of nice to be seeing so many new people. It was even nicer not being the odd one out here. With all these different kids here, being accepted by someone would probably be easy! Well, maybe. You never really know with people, right?

Vanessa was still absorbed with her technology. She could feel the code in her bones, technology was such a part of her. The only way it could be more important to her was if she was a cyborg.

Julia: "Um okay." She took a seat near Devon. "If no one else is going, I guess I will. My name is Julia, I'm 18, and it's pretty lame but I can change my appearance on my will - you're looking at my natural born appearance by the way - and I can also adapt to my surroundings." She got a clear bowl of water and submerged her head in it. She pushed her hair away from her neck and moved her fingers along her neck so they could see the gills that had grown. Soon the pulled her head out. Her hair was soaked and plastered to her neck, but when she brushed it back again, the gills were gone. "My adaptations are never permanent though."
