Do you think their "human" ears do actually work? Or do only their animal ears work? Or the other way around? Or do both work?

I think there might have been an answer to that on one of the RWBY dedicated podcasts/streams, but hell if i remember what the answer was. But I'm going on the version that liek the nightvision, Faunus with traits of an animal with greater hearing will have the sense in superhuman level.
