[OOC] Heroes of Beacon - the Next Chapter

Marcus is trying to kill a swarm of bugs. A good amount of fire seemed like the right idea. Given that Savanna fires generally move at speeds up to about 7 kph, the trucks are safe from it.

Note that Marcus fired a round BETWEEN the trucks on one side and the bugs on the other. Not directly in the middle of the trucks. He's not that big of a moron, even as stressed out as he is now.

If it was a normal savanna and normal bugs you'd be right. But they aren't. Obviously the entire mission was going to lead to a trap, but the trap is bigger than just the camp.

I decided that you guys were pretty good at destroying their base. If you're fast, you could likely catch up and stop the bugs from overwhelming the trucks. Fire might get out of hand however, due to reasons that require a nature check.

As to why she's cool, tis the problem with History being absent form the local sheets. I suggest you actually inquire IC at some point =P And meh, no words. Given what they knew they made correct, albeit hasty decision as far as she's concerned.

Oh no I got that part, some species of bug give off sounds as communication that is so high in frequency that human ears can't pick it up. Hypothetically this could cause interference on radio channels.

No, in Stargate there are mechanical bugs called Replicators that compromise computers systems and one of there MOs for an attack is to take control of communication. When Oswald said the bugs were blocking the comms Diamond asked if they were Replicators, so I think that means that Stargate aired in the world of Remnant... interesting.

If we're lucky they missed SGU.
