Moving on: Just so that everyone is describing the same fight/clusterfuck, here is what I interpret is going on: Marcus fired two shots total this mission: One High Explosive to make a hole in the fortifications. Then an incendiary to try and create a flame barrier between the bugs and the trucks. He has not fired directly on the Schnee guards.

Aurellius did open fire on the guards and promptly received a roasting from Marcus about it.

The trucks that are running for it ALL got nommed because the bugs did not care about the hellfire that suddenly appeared. In fact they are diving through kamikaze style to set even more stuff on fire. This includes, in no particular order: Grass, fortifications, people, shrubs, other bugs and dirt.

Post soon. Let's see if this can get any worse (who am I kidding of course it will get worse).

The problem is most nutters who occasionally go into the corner to nibble on nothing tend to not remain at prestigious military academies very long before they are shipped off to mental asylums.

Sure a love of violence just like that is rather generic, so find some way to make it your own add in some twists and turns but I don't think the insane angle is the way to go.

Keep in mind what's interesting to an audience
Not what's fun to do as a writer.
They can be very different.

RPing is supposed to be fun, that's the entire point of creating site and stories like this one. But just because it might be fun doesn't always mean it's a good idea.

I was in this RP awhile back, @Forsythe knows what I'm talking about. My character was a fugitive on the run from the government of a particular planet. When I had him meet up with the main cast who were from a different planet I thought since he didn't know these people it would be fun to have him intimidate them and gets onto their ship that way. End Result: the cast started firing on him. Fried all the nerve endings in his dominant hand and had him locked up for the duration of the mission then shipped back to earth more than likely never to be seen again. I had to make a new character to continue in that RP and let me tell you having a character shot down like that in IC is not fun. I don't want to see this come to the point where you can't legitimately continue to use Mokuren within the confines of the RWBY universe.

I think that people aren't barbaric and don't just chuck mental into an asylum forever. Such a mental illness would have therapy, assistance, treatment. Not just being launched into a dark hole forever. So, maybe at worst she is put on the sidelines for several weeks/months as she recovers, but not vanished forever. But, I was more in the mind of active assistance, in the school, helping her over come it while still keeping her around.

People with mild delusions and such get therapy and assistance. If she was seeing people that weren't there or something of that sort sure. People with seriously violent delusions such as devouring others do get chucked into mental asylums. It might not necessarily be forever but until she can be cured. The thing is people with violent delusions would be considered a danger to themselves and to others because if they're delusions remain constant their is every possibility that the delusions may cross from fantasy to reality. If she believes she is doing these things at some point in her life she may actually devour a real person not knowing the difference between reality and fantasy. If her delusion is threatened in some way she could easily become violent and harm either herself or others.

Before you say that Mokuren wouldn't do any of this it doesn't matter what you can assure us she would or wouldn't do. These are what the staff of Beacon are aware could happen and to prevent potential injury to any of the students or staff the safest response would be to relocate Mokuren to a facility equipped to help people with problems like hers.

Passive and malleable? Hm... No offense taken, I'm open to criticism. I know I'm not the best writer and I'm always looking to improve. I just fail to see how Shiro may be passive and malleable. I think he's rather heavily opinionated.

I think that's more a personal moral choice, like Sapphire won't kill be people if it can be at all avoided. The thing I was talking about was more to do with Shiro's overall personality, or at least how he's come off to me so far.

Well, the mission was to find out what was going on and to keep the peace. If anything, I think Shiro would still be following within those guidelines, save for Gren and Sapphire.

Then again, it's just as uninteresting to completely fold as to be completely unyielding in opposition.
