@MULTI_MEDIA_MAN

It reads like he himself has it out for the character. Especially when he's the one who wrote the weapons and heirloom being lost. Entirely his decision to play it out that way.

Just bugs, man.

Honestly, I'm only fond of the character for out-of-mission potential hilarity. He just seems too flippant and lackadaisical. I wouldn't trust him to have my back if there was a cockroach in the room, let alone fighting for our lives.

When stored Sapphire's daggers activate by shock force. You bang them into something and they essemble. Shiro tackled her down a hill both of them rolling over and over again. It would be physically impossible for her not to bang her wrists on something activating the daggers and the chances of her being able to catch them in that state are virtually nil.

Actions have consequences, big actions have bigger consequences. Shiro is constantly doing things in a grandiose manner which means the consequences when he does something stupid are proportional. I would have done the same thing if Mokuren or Oswald or Abel had tackled her.

Mokuren doesn't tackle though. She just, stabs.

Well it looks like I didn't have as clear a grasp on that bit as I thought

What do I do to save face and not admit I'm wrong on the internet here again?

Oh here's a classic

I was trolling, yeah. T-totally.

Ha, they'll never guess I screwed up now

Just came up with the most absolutely BRUTAL little tactic for Team MODA. It's completely insane and borderline suicidal, though.

Dam, Guess I am still outside then.

Edit: also, what is the bouncer doing merely bouncering? With his insane reflexes, reaction time, physical and mental resilience, plus the healing Semblence, he could do whatever he wanted to and nobody could stop him.

Perhaps he just wanted to be merely bouncering. The character was created to perform a specific function: karma. This mission was supposed to require some finesse and subtlety at least in the first part, but the first thing Mokuren did was kill someone. In stealth games, enemies are often really powerful and nearly impossible to beat, because you're not supposed to fight them. Same basic principle.

Hey @Lugubrious would I be required to spend credits to have Sapphire recreate her daggers from the original blueprints effectively making identical copies? Assuming of course the originals aren't recovered.

Nah, those'll be on the house.

Just curious, how could you know that I was the one who wrote the loss of the weapons but be unaware of how they function?

But this isn't a single player game. In multiplayer sneaking missions, it is always very helpful to have one person create a fuss and pull the monsters, to reduce the amount of people they need to sneak by. Just making an overpowered bastard for the sole perpose of 'karma'. Most sealth games - like Hitman or the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare sneaking mission - do not have overpowered guys when you don't sneak. They are normal powered, in case you just suck at sneaking. Sneaking helps, but is not entirely demanded.

Shiro is meant to generally be likeable, I vote for someone to knock the shit out of him.

Anyone want a "Beat Shiro's ass for free card?".

I'm guessing Lugu wanted you guys to start sneaking around. And if you don't want to? Then you find out why should have been sneaking around the hard way. Besides that your two examples, you're a health-regenerating badass. "Normal" enemies are mooks not worth worrying about. Lugu wanted to give you guys an enemy worth worrying about. It's less like a video game and more like a table top: Save or suck. If you aren't prepared you're in a world of hurt.

Emmy and Shiro get into a catfight. Duh duh duh!!!

I'm actually not sure how that would even happen, unless they were fighting over fish. XD

Oswald won't need one, he'll just do it.

In a sparring ring, because otherwise that would be breaking the rules.

Fisticuffs, no Aura. Let's go, kitty boy.

Yang got smashed by a Super-Robot and then proceeded to pull it apart. And that is not the exception, from how the series pans out. That is the rule.

Well, you'll have to work your way past the "Getting smashed" part before you get to the "Pull them apart" part. And so far looks like the smashing is still underway.

Anyone else wouldn't have gotten hit by it to begin with. Yang has Wolverine Syndrome.

Actually that was the exception. Yang's semblance allows her to absorb and redirect kinetic energy. Effectively she gutted the robot with its own strength. Anyone else hit by a blow like that would be serious trouble.

Besides, logically speaking this Casino is a White Fang front. They have a lot of sensitive White Fang related stuff inside that they wouldn't want hunters or cops seeing. The most logical way to make sure that hunters or cops can't get in to see it is to make the guard at the front door someone who has the power to best hunters and cops. If he was just another foot soldier that would put the entire operation at risk.

Anyone want a "Beat Shiro's ass for free card?".

Sapphire doesn't need a free card, she's going to beat his ass at some point, it's just a matter of when and where.
