You've had three pages of OOC worth of attention, it is time we move ours onto actually important matters.

@Lugubrious Could you put a chart up on the conference doc that outlines what each difficulty level means for the hunters taking on each mission.

@Guess Who Firstly, I don't think you decide those things. The success or failure of a mission, and how many credits received are the domain of the Lug so don't just be giving yourself credits. Secondly I don't know the scale of A-S but from a hunters perspective your mission wasn't anything special as far as difficulty goes. There wasn't any (in RWBY standards) extreme dangers or twists, reinforcements or something that cause your team additional difficulty. Of course Lug has the final decision but I don't believe that qualified as a C rank. In my opinion is was barely B but that's just me. Wait for Lug's ruling before you start giving yourself rewards.

I thought that the little paragraph for the missions did that? This:

D’s are noncombat, like field trips, C’s can be completed by and are aimed at newbies, B’s are fairly difficult for new students but fairly mundane for experienced ones, A’s are challenging for virtually everyone and really, really hard for newbies, S’s are seriously dangerous for everyone involved and probably fatal for anyone less than absolutely prepared, SS’s are to be attempted only by senior/teacher teams, and even then are ludicrously challenging. SSS’s are, basically, ‘stop the moon from crashing into Remnant and obliterating all life.’

So if Protesters was only passed by the slimmest of margins, then it's A-rank, and worthy of 4 credits. Mission antagonists only get 3 credits, regardless of the mission's actual difficulty

I thought since S was extremely difficult then that meant the scale was:
A: Easy
B: Medium
C: Hard
D: Difficult
S: Insane
SS: Lunatic
SSS: Suicide

I was under the impression that C is what would earn four credits so I think a translation with the actual system in mind would look like this:

Bearing in mind the system as it is actually set forth (thanks Lug) by RWBY standards I don't think it unreasonable to assume that level of danger is what is expected of hunters-in-training on a standard day. Cause of the involvement of the White Fang I think it was step up from a C but not challenging enough to be a B. I think it to be around a C+. I don't know what that means for your credit score but I don't believe it ranked an A (what you gave yourself) which is supposed to be difficult even for seniors.
