I know that in-universe it might not make sense, but the only other option is trying to make up an entire history of an existing (Or not existing) land to justify how we have fettucini and wellington. It's already hard enough trying to keep things realistic in this RWBY rp, which personally I feel kinda defeats the purpose of a RWBY RP.
