Hub doesn't care about you. He cares that we all spent five years working to become better writers and developing the same cast of characters over those five years, and then you come in and knock each and every one of our standards of writing - which is dumb because the BZPRPG relies more on hella long posts than Casual or even Advanced. Your critique's got nothing to stand on. It's got them Professor X legs.

And a personal attack on a GM we all respect and admire, and whose worst posts would still rock the Casual forum to its core, for no reason other than...whatever dumb, unstated reason you have to not like him...is even lower.

Thing I had to deal with on the site I was on before here was GMs and players constantly making and joining rps that never went past the prologue. Rps I opened and one other person were the only ones who managed to pass prologue. There wasn't even a remotely large enough playerbase to support that lifestyle. I tell them this, they that think I'm crazy for calling them out on that and now I'm here just watching from afar as their section on that forum teeters off in activity, and I'm just laughing.

Most of them are genuinely horrible people though, so I don't mind. I hope they disappear and get sick of the lack of activity so I can return and dance on their corpses.

The full story is more complicated but that's basically my origin. No one asked, but whatever.

Nah you should definitely check it out. It's your typical, "unforgiving, but you almost always recognize the issue's on you rather than the mechanics" type deal.

I love Souls far more than someone as incompetent at video games as me should, but the FROM MAKES SUPER DIFFICULT HARDCORE RPGS thing has been overblown roughly since about when PTDE dropped on PC.
