These are typical advertisements. Everyone hears them, and many believe them, although of course they hardly have the slightest kernel of truth. No one, however, seems at all curious about where all these werewolf livers and bile are coming from. Why would they be? After all, werewolves are subhuman degenerates; turning them into scammy health care supplements serves to get the bastards away from people who they'd doubtlessly murder innocent people otherwise. Right?
"Lunie Health" prides itself on being the world’s number-one werewolf liver provider. They not only make it into their own supplements, they sell the liver, most often in powdered form, to other health-food stores, which make their own medicines. It is a giant company.
Not many people know the darker truth about Lunie; maybe they don’t want to know. They have a single giant factory located somewhere in the Great Plains, about five miles from the nearest town. This is where all the werewolf livers come from, and where the roleplay will take place.
Werewolves, contrary to popular belief, are most often just normal people, other than the fact that they can shapeshift at will. They blend in, tell few people if anyone their secret, create families, and lead regular lives, although the actions of a few werewolves have generated a popular hatred for them.
But the days of blending in ended with the start of the liver craze and the founding of Lunie Health. New research proved that werewolves have a higher normal body temperature as well as tapetums in their retinas (even when human). People started disappearing, shot with tranquilizers in dark alleys or drugged at parties and snuck out. All of them were werewolves, caught and brought to Lunie for the money.
Now, here you are. Maybe you’ve just woken up in a poorly-lit room that stinks of antiseptic and blood and looked down to see a surgical scar across your abdomen. Maybe you’ve been here for years, planning escapes and failing at them, sitting in a filthy corner while the Surgeons wait for your liver to grow back from the last time they cut it out. Maybe you’re a normal human who works at Lunie. Can you get out of here alive? If you make it to the outside world, can you expose Lunie’s crimes?
Note- All werewolves are shackled, and "problem" werewolves wear a mask that covers their mouth, kind of like the one Hannibal Lecter wore in Silence of the Lambs. Silver causes an allergic reaction in werewolves, usually hives and swelling. The shackles are silver-plated.
