Is unraveller, like, done with the RP? He already killed off his own character. That only really goes to show that the sound cannon is also OP if it could kill literally the strongest guy with a single kick.

I think it will take a bit more in order to kill Kristof, but he certainly isn't in good shape. Imagine such a focused sound wave, sound is more or less vibrations, and at that magnitude from someone who doesn't even know how to use the equipment. I'd say it might have killed someone with less constitution. I wanted to use it as more of an idea of the consequences of such an action. And as much as I love Kristof I have to come to terms that he is a mortal human being. And death comes to us all.

well Rose dose no how to use the sound cannon she had an in depth convocation with the owner about although I only showed part of it she has the 4D sound ability and plays a lot of music she intended that sound wave to go though to the other room and temporarily stun her perusers giving her time to deactivate it and retune it. Rose never account for Kristof's speed he would have been to close to the wave and been the fist thing it hit the other would get a splinting headache and be disordered for a while but it would not be as bad as it was for poor Kristof.

With Flemeth, I'd say yes if she had some sense of morality. If your parents abused you, and they killed people, generally their offspring tends to be more stable than them as they realize "my parents were crazy, I'll never be like them." I like using rage to amplify powers, but this could just be another PK machine. I'm 50/50 on it.

I'm flattered that he is one of your favorite characters here, but like I said earlier, and its probably because I don't think I can let go of him yet or I'll be heartbroken (Not to say he is immortal, if he will die, then he will certainly die.) I simply think that there is a great lesson to be learned here, within the confines of consequence within one's own actions.

The second half of it is all about explaining his tech, which is great since most people hop in and Godmod this stuff. Hmm... since he is showing off this stuff, I think that might be more reasonable than most of these other characters. Accepted!

That lesson is I let things get out of control. :P. But he doesn't have to die yet, we LITERALLY just started. An RP is supposed to last for a LONG time. This is literally just the introduction! Imagine watching a T.V. Series. This is just the part that happens before they go into the introduction thing where they throw characters around and stuff, then go to commercial before the show actually starts. We haven't even started yet!

I think it was more to show that the people wielding this power are certainly not purposefully attempting to kill an innocent (Unless I'm severely misreading here) that they're actions have consequences. Can you imagine simply trying to stun a person with no interest in inflicting bodily harm to and instead doing that very thing? I would imagine that it would be a traumatic experience.

I think it's entirely possible that this was in fact mistaken for an arena now that I look at it. I used to spend time in arena's and essentially what you do is make 10 characters, make them all almost direct copies of each other. That way if one dies, you still have 9 copies of that same character to fight other people with. Then it becomes a competition of who can make the most characters. Unraveller, the character that shot yours wasn't exactly a normal person. therefore, their sense of a traumatic experience may be incredibly different from your character's. If an insane person did that, I'm pretty sure they would have started laughing while they were running away.

well right now he is coughing up blood and bleeding out of his ears he is definitely unconscious but wont necessarily die although when he wakes up he will have the mother of all headaches but I am about to make a Dr app that could save him and I have more then enough of a reason to send him to the convention at this point that is if he need saving when I have made my Dr.

Damn! I made Mimi a male.... -__- I will edit that. With GG, she will actually help the cops and kill the monsters if it benefits her, and it easily could, as the monsters could end up attacking her if everyone else dies. Plus, she won't be completely bad ass and be able to kill them in one hit. I hate that. Trust me, none of my characters will instant kill them.

So long as me and Tek still stand, the RP will be level-headed. I didn't make two brand new characters and plan out arcs for them for nothing. by the way, if anyone thinks that "oh man this guy hates me" I really don't. I really, really, don't. In fact, I find you all fairly enjoyable to talk to. My only problem is the potential that's wasted with the insanity going on. There's such a thing as pacing. The pacing went way too fast, and that resulted in the cluster**** that's going on right now. That's why earlier I said I needed to think, because that's about how fast we were moving. I almost never say that. I'll chalk it up to the anxiety to get straight into the action, but build-up makes that action worth it.

It would just mean throw up as many ten paragraph bios of the same character with minor differences until you get in. "Aw man, Ryu didn't get in. Maybe if I make Ryu with flaming eyes, and add an extra paragraph to the bio, I'll get in." Another thing, (I've been doing this a lot for some reason.) We have too many characters that are not japanese. But, wait a second, why is this a problem? Well, if you look at the statistics, only 3% of Japan is not Japanese. That's mostly because they're the most xeno-phobic people alive, but that's roughly the statistics. If over half of our characters are clearly Americans, (no one in Japan names their child something from another nationality, as it would be considered dis-honorable. Sure, idols are allowed to do this, because it isn't their actual name.) sure this may be nit-picking, but even the tiniest amount of research into japan should tell you this. Anime's are some of the worst representations of Japan, ever, so they don't count as research.

I'm so glad you're still interested! Yeah, by the way, this is 100% unusual. The other time this happened to an RP I had, I wasn't around for a full week... with 10x more posts, and 10x less people. The RP died horribly, and I never knew what happened while I was gone. I hope eventually everyone will become casually normal, with very slight weird things happening. Possibly the gauntlets get destroyed, but a weaker prototype version of them are found, and will become replacements. The twins get thrown in jail, or have their arms chopped off. Things will calm down, hopefully soon. I hope we can salvage this RP, rather than demolish it and start over. But, I will start over if that is what it takes, which I don't think so at this point. Thank you Ragna, you have already followed the new rules. xD

Cheaters are thrown out of the competition. Boom! Problem solved. xD. But we would probably have to make a separate thread to discuss people getting in, since we're having such a hard time here. Yes, I understand that too. Of course, it is a convention going on... so that makes sense that the most popular technology in the world be celebrated by other countries by attending... but still, your point is still valid. Plus, we haven't made it real clear what languages our characters are speaking. All these other people... are they understanding the Japanese language being spoken, or are they speaking English, and somehow everyone's understanding each other? O.o

well the gauntlets would not necessarily need to be destroyed as Rose would not use them on anything other then the 4D monsters expect for this instance where she used them on the other people but that was intended to stun as they where fare away and in another room the wave would have hat to travel a long distance and go though a wall witch is why she amped up the intensity Kristof only ended up in that state because he was fast enough to get closer to Rose while she was calibrating them because he took the brunt of it. That being said bare in mind while the focused in one direction it was not focused at one target or in a straight line it was focused in the general direction so it would hit everyone and the explanation of how strong the sound waves where was they would hear a high pitched noise that would sound just like nails on a chalkboard but much louder. Now i you have ever heard what nails on a chalkboard it is a horrible screeching but not all that loud amp up the volume you amp up the frequency as well but even though it was much louder because it started of as something as low level as nails on a chalkboard it would not be all that deadly unless you where very close to it. Even than it would not kill most people maybe some people who where more fragile like elderly or kids.

Sound: Jennifer was born blind in this world unfortunately however due to her flaws, her remaining senses have instead been finely tuned so she isn't hindered as much. However unlike the normal, only Jennifer's hearing has been enhanced, but it extends out of the range of what even a blind person be capable of as she has never needed a walking stick ever in her life, all she has needed was to be mindful of her surrounding and listen. It is simply nature's way of saying sorry for those who are unfortunately tasked to receive such gifts, and it sometimes compensates for a world lost to those who have to bear such gifts by making another for them to experience. However with the advance of technology, this ability to hear has further been expanded to the point of where she is sensitive to sound at random moments and requires the overall volume to be lower so it doesn't hurt her ears. Unlike other people who have this ability, her own prowess with this power extends what people can normally achieve as she has been listening her whole life. Energy: (LOCKED) Technology is a blessing in these days, which defies the will of nature as allows ways for people to overcome their flaws that have been etched onto by nature. However complete compensation for a lost sense is possible with today's advancing technology, Jennifer prefers to keep to herself in the world that only she knows and had strangely gotten another Fourth Dimension power known as Energy. It had allowed her to sense the emotions of people around her and effectively allowed her to 'see' another world that was separate from the one that she could hear. Now she is able to see the blobs of colors that walked among the streets that showed what other people were feeling and what they were thinking of doing for the day. Jennifer herself has helped a person however only once stopped themselves from killing themselves, with the use of her other dimensional power to read their mind and her new one to read their emotions. She did feel great about helping them but was doubting that hearing and seeing the emotions as well as thoughts of others was as good as she thought it would be.

Bio

Born from birth blind of a disease that she rather not mention, Jennifer has always been short and blind since she was born. Always being smaller than the regular student even the girls were taller than her sometimes, only falling short by several inches but she has always been self conscious when people says that she looks so cute at her height. She inherited this genetic disease from her mother's side of the family as it mostly only infects females more than 75% of the time, but however at the same time she inherited the trait of the Fourth Dimensional power too from the mother's side. A strange thing that skips generations and randomly appears in one before disappearing waiting for another, thanks to todays technology now Jennifer can use it. However she would soon discover that she was blessed with another recessive gene from her mother side that almost no one can remember anyone having before.

Well, the point is that it's OP. If it's that powerful, it actually would deal with the monsters like they're nothing, since this weapon seems to hit every single entity within earshot. That in turn, then makes all of our characters extremely weak. We are now left with a few choices: Make the monsters stronger, so your weapon doesn't effect them as much. Problem? Our characters now die instantly. Option two: We buff up all of our characters. Problem? We have to change our character's stories, or hand them other uber weapons. But, what's the point of these super uber weapons, if our characters are no longer special, since anyone could use them to defeat the monsters?
