Sephie, buried mostly under the covers, still shakes and shudders a bit in her sleep. Though she's stopped pseudo-sleepwalking, the nightmare rages on inside of her head.
In the dream plane, she finds herself standing in a black room, surrounded by about 10 or so different people, all different ages, sizes, all with no face.
"Why did you kill us?"
"Why did you kill us?"
"Why did you kill us?"
"Why did you kill us?"
"Why did you kill us?"
"Why did you kill us?"
Over and over, the multitude of different voices repeat themselves. Slowly, wounds appear on every single person except for Sephie. She's stuck on the ground, as if glued there. The people move in. Sephie isn't horrified by the fact that they have no faces...but, rather, their voices. They're cruelly familiar.
Once upon a time, Sephie and Felixter had 10 or so siblings...but then, shortly after they made the monumental step to flee their homeland...their siblings and mother were taken from their homes, brainwashed, and sent after them. Sephie was forced to kill them all. They only attacked when she was alone. By the Master's orders, for sure, to make it as personally painful as possible...
Back in the real world, Sephie, still locked in a merciless sleep, suffers quietly while stabbing her claws into the mattress.
Outside of the room, Kiroketsu has taken on an uneasy and regretful look while glancing over at the door that holds Sephie behind it. "Aw man..."
"Eh? Nani?" Meora searches the big spirit's expression.
"Seph's thinkin' about her siblings in her sleep again..." Kiroketsu explains with a heavy sigh.
"...Unsurprising..." Felixter looks down with a bit of a grave tone.
"Should I go in there, you think? Try to soothe her?" Ammi frowns.
"No...it won't do any good." Felixter shakes his head slowly.
At that moment, there are footsteps from down the hall. The group turns to see a demon witch in blue clothing approaching them cautiously, mostly because of the new people she spots.
"Are these strangers friends...?" She asks carefully.
"Ne, Nelodine-chan!" Meora grins. "O genki desuka?"
Nelodine walks over to meet up with the group, pushing her glasses back up her nose. "I'm sorry for not getting here sooner...something weird happened with the portal we used to get here."
"Cloudy told us. Where are the other kids?" Felixter inquires.
"Ah, they stayed behind with a few others this time around. Kayori and Mirui are still at hime getting some things in order." Nelodine explains to them.
"As long as they're in safe hands." Ammi nods.
The group is alerted by the presence of someone new once more as they see Lucas enter the hall and greet them.
"Ah, hello." Felixter smiles lightly. "Nice to meet you. I'm Felixter. This is Ammi, Meora, Kiroketsu, Cloudy, and Nelodine."
"So many new people around here..." Nelodine murmurs.
"Well, they're definitely friends. They just helped us fend off a vicious attack from Nimika. Sephie and one of them are resting in that room right there. Both of 'em got knocked around pretty bad." Meora huffs. At the mention of the name, Nelodine freezes in place with a frightened expression.
"M-my sister's already made it here?!" Nelodine squeaks.
"Seems so...her, and Natasha. I wouldn't be surprised if more are on the way." Meora mutters. Her and the rest of the group snap into attention when Fedora-Man appears to tell them of Nimika's possible new allies.
"See? What did I just say?" Meora puts a hand to her face with a long, exasperated sigh.
"N...Natasha..." Nelodine trembles a bit as bad flashbacks assault her mind.
"Worry not. If we can help it, nothing bad will happen to you." Ammi purrs to reassure her. Though, soon, she hears a female voice conversing with Srg inside of the room that Sephie and Michael are resting in. Because they have just been talking about witches, Ammi's mind immediately floods with worry, and she goes up to the door. The voice, upon closer inspection, doesn't sound like any of the other 5 witch sisters...but, since they can shapeshift, that's not saying much.
"Hello? Should I come in and help? Who's there?" Ammi calls through the door.
"Yes, the woman in green you just saw was my sister. I have 4 other sisters, but one of them...one of them is a little sick. She's joined the wrong side, it seems. It's my side-job to bring her back." Nimika explains to Karl as they go. She willingly follows him to the house, and again, takes to watching his behavior, as well as the new being's in front of her.
"Strange people...but still...promising..." Nimika smirks, muttering under her breath.
"Okay, girls. The Master has just issued his new orders out."
In a small, hidden cave partially underneath the ground in the woods, Natasha is meeting up with 3 other people like herself. Her sisters, to be exact.
"He wants us to get her, right?" The witch in orange, Numirra, yawns with an expression of boredom.
"Yes. We just have to get her, and then take her back down here. With our powers combined, there's no way this can fail." The smallest witch in lavender, Noruani, grins with malice almost comparable to Nimika's.
"Grrrrraaaawwwwrrrr...!" The biggest witch, wearing brown, lets out a feral growl accompanied by a rabid grin.
