The wisp pauses just at the stair way and transform into a long sword with goat skull on the hilt (https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/0a/59/47/0a59473091f929c92febbd1a8405740f.jpg for more info) floating around in that one spot.

@SephietheEvil Sensing someone following him, he stops just outside the mansion's limits, gently setting his new master down on the ground beside him as his wings fold back into a cloak, a low growl sounding from his throat. "Back off...she's mine!" He says, his voice sounding rather warped, the air becoming slightly colder as he becomes at bit hostile towards those that approach him. Although, when he sees Minako approaching him, he extends a hand in a sort of invitation to her. "Join me..you're just like me...refuse and you'll join the others in a cold, icy death!" He snaps, not seeming like himself at all, the strange power seemingly overwhelming one who is so used to having command over countless spirits. It seems this is doing Makoto no favors. If only someone could snap him out of it..maybe then he would see the current error of his ways and be able to return to normal.

In her limbo of unconsciousness, thoughts swim around in front of Myriatte's closed eyes. She moves a bit in her sleep, but not much. She becomes faintly aware of herself being put onto a solid surface, presumably ground, and the loud voices above her. It sets off a torrent of memory...
"MARYANNE RIVERLENN, I DEMAND AS YOUR FATHER THAT YOU STOP THIS FOOLISHNESS IMMEDIATELY!" Her father's anger. "Your job to our family is to think about MARRIAGE! Not this...this USELESS ACTIVITY!"
"John! JOHN, STOP!" Her mother's pleas. Not enough...
SMACK!
Myriatte's cheek burns and tingles from the hit to the face, and she falls onto the ground. Pages of writing and a precious pen fall with her, covering that area of the room in floating, white figures, like feathers, or dying butterflies...
The frail girl trembles, partially facedown on the floor to avoid anymore slaps, or the pitying gaze of her disgustingly helpless mother, or her angry, ignorant, idiotically limited father...
"Will.....Will..." She murmurs ever so quietly, the only word coming to her mind.

"....Will..." Myriatte murmurs in her sleep now, outside of the mansion with this beast at her side.
Abernathy hears this tiny, familiar voice, and he feels his ghostly heart being squeezed. "Myriatte! Myriatte...I..I'm right here! Wake up, please! Come back!"
Abernathy takes a step to move towards her, back he's sent back about 3 more steps when Makoto growls out his threat. Of course, then he's gotten closer than comfort to the other beast approaching, Minako. She growls at him, but doesn't seem like she's particularly targeting him, as she just strolls right on by to face Makoto and Myriatte.
Minako's ears twitch a bit as she listens to what Makoto has to say. She replies in her own sort of warped, growly voice, "It is true...I am like you...and you have the source of food..."
'This is bad!' Abernathy thinks to himself as he stands by, watching the scene. 'If these two, in their monstrous state, join forces, what will they resolve to do to everyone else? They certainly don't look as if they want to hurt Myriatte, but...our other new living guests...!'
"You two! Minako! Makoto!" Abernathy cries out in a bolder tone. He's prepared to shift forms if he needs to, though he'd rather not resort to fighting on this one. "You've got to snap out of this! For the sake of us all, please! You're not monsters like this. I know I might not know you as well as others could, but I understand that your intentions cannot be that bad, if you were willing to walk all the way out here just to unravel Lavenshade's mystery, and help us!"
'It's a stretch. I really don't know them, or their true intentions...but I believe...I've got to believe!' Abernathy thinks to himself in secret.
"...Will.......!" Myriatte mumbles again, a little louder this time. Is she close to awaking...?

Ellysa is already making her way towards the front door of the mansion when she hears an explosion from back down below, in the basement. "HARK! Is everything alright down there?!" She calls. She wants to go back and help them, the angel in her begs to, but upon hearing the growls of monsters outside, and Abernathy's cries, she makes the decision to head outside, still within the mansion's limits, to help her friend. She runs out of the doors and into the Mansion's front yard, which is fenced off. She's aware that she cannot go past the fence bordering this house. If she tries...there will be dire consequences. However, the situation still lies in her favor this day, as Abernathy, Myriatte, and the two beasts are just a little ways from the mansion, within the fence's limits.
"Abernathy! I've come to help you, friend!" Ellysa calls, raising her sword.

Negloria doesn't say a word in reply to Lilly's comment about cats. She's silent again, looking down at the ground in front of the poster. It's almost as if she wants to say something...but just can't grasp the words.
"Negloria...?"
The little girl raises her head slowly when a familiar voice calls out to her. On the very top stair, a shining ghost in a lovely white dress, white gloves, and brown hair in a bun, stands with her soft hazel eyes on Negloria. She takes a few steps into the doorway of the room, careful not to trip over Lilly or Riley. She even smiles down at the two cats.
"Ah, excuse me..." Yolani bows to the two cats before turning back to Negloria, who has turned to meet the older girl's eyes.
"Neggie...you helped me again, didn't you...?" Yolani asks gently. "You...you pushed that girl and her friends into the dark, just to pull me out...again..."
"...No." Negloria shakes her head. "....Just the girl...her heart...was strong....I didn't push the others....just her."
"...Neggie..." Yolani looks as if she might start crying a bit. "...Why? I...don't deserve it. I didn't protect you....as your older sister, I...I should've....I should've...."

@SephietheEvil@Snarfulblast (This song should have been playing ever since they first transformed...but I digress. Better late than never!) Digital Devil Saga 2 - Madness Makoto, hearing Abernathy's desperate plea, feels a sharp pain in his head, causing to him howl slightly in pain as he grips his head. Before long, he stops shaking, and allows his hands to fall by his side as a bright light begins to envelope him once again. In a time frame that appears to be as lengthy as the snap of a finger, Makoto is back to his normal self. This time however, he is holding what appears to be a pistol to his temple, smirking as he does so. "Sorry to keep you waiting..but I'm back...Rakshasa!" With that being said, he pulls the trigger, causing this spirit to appear before him, getting into a defensive stance with its blades, seeming very keen on not letting any threat past it.

Minako watches Makoto revert back to normal, and though there's a strong pang in her own mind from hearing Abernathy's plea and belief in them, the sight of something else keeps her from reverting as well. Myriatte is getting up from the ground.
".....Will." She says a final time, staring Abernathy straight in the face. Her eyes seem different. They're the same, beautiful blueish-green eyes, but within them, there's a different person. This isn't the Myriatte that just planned to sacrifice one of the living guests of the mansion...something within her soul has switched gears.
"Master..." Minako growls, moving closer to her side. "Are you injured...? Shall I deal with-"
"No. You are not...y-you shouldn't be under my control. It is as Abernathy says. As...Will says. You are no monster, you are a friend to those here. You want a command? Then heed my call, and revert back into your normal form! I have done the same already, it would seem...only natural that you should follow, right?" Myriatte points at Minako.
At this, Minako finally gives in. She lets out a cry of pain, and just as Makoto has, she reverts back into her normal self once more. It takes her a moment to recuperate from what just happened, but within a minute or so, she's standing up again, next to Makoto and his summoned spirit. Of course, Minako takes note of how calm and collected Myriatte suddenly is. It doesn't look as if she's willing to put up any fight anymore.
"Myriatte..." Abernathy returns her gaze, looking quite grave.
".......You...do you think I should just leave now?...Or, should I tell them...?" Myriatte asks.
"I think...it would be good for you to tell them." Abernathy shakes his head. "It might help you form more of a connection with these people. You might be less likely to kill them then."
"You know that's not true..." Myriatte smiles sadly. "But...alright. I'll go on with the tale." She turns to Makoto and Minako, and takes a deep breath before she starts.
"My name...is Maryanne Riverlenn." Myriatte says. "I was the daughter of a well-off family, many centuries ago, right over there in Negloria Town. In the 1700's, to be more exact...I was the only child, and much was expected of me."
"Your name isn't...Myriatte?" Minako murmurs.
"It is." Myriatte laughs lightly. "It's...my writing name. You see...people liked me, despite the fact that I was richer than most. Not only because I was pretty...but, I told wonderful stories. I wanted so desperately to be a writer. However...as the only child, and daughter, of my family, my father was dead set on only educating me in the ways of a housewife. He would get angry if I said I wanted anything else of myself. So...I'd often sneak to school for lessons. Everyone liked me, as I said, so, it wasn't a problem. It was just...when he found out. And, somewhere in the middle of all this....I met Will."
"Will?" Minako echoes.
"Yes. Will. Also known as William Abernathy, or simply Abernathy." Myriatte explains. "I suppose he already told you of his writing past, yes? Well..after he became a ghost, he started traveling around, acting as a guide and friend to people. Isn't that right, Will?"
"Indeed." Abernathy grins softly. "'Tis a pleasure of mine."
"Will encouraged me in my dreams of being a wonderful author. He was such a wonderful friend...that, I didn't even notice he was a ghost, until...until that day." Myriatte's tone becomes darker as she goes on. "That one day...the one that changed everything."

"MARYANNE RIVERLENN, I DEMAND AS YOUR FATHER THAT YOU STOP THIS FOOLISHNESS IMMEDIATELY!" My father cried out in rage. "Your job to our family is to think about MARRIAGE! Not this...this USELESS ACTIVITY!"
"John! JOHN, STOP!"
He slapped me in the face, and I fell, releasing my precious pages of writing as well. As they scattered about, I trembled on the floor for a bit. Then, I pushed myself back up with the courage to speak out having finally made itself known within me.
"Just because YOU don't believe I can become more than a little housewife, doesn't mean that I have to be limited as I am in your own head! I am free to do what I feel I was always meant to, Father!" I screamed back. "I believe in myself, the town believes in me, and even Will right there! HE believes in me as well!"
"Who is this will you keep talking about?! Have you gone mad, girl?!" My father barked back.
"HE'S STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO YOU!" I shouted back. Indeed, it was true. Will was standing right next to my father in the room. However...I was the only one who could see him."
"Maryanne, there's NO ONE HERE!" My father waved an arm around in Will's space. It went right through him, and I went silent with shock.
"W...W-Will?" I whimpered.
"...I'm sorry, Myriatte." Will told me quietly. "...I'm dead."
I was too shocked to speak, and in those seconds of confusion, my father had already decided his course of action. I was to be locked in my room until they found a suitable husband to pass me off to. They figured that maybe marriage was the cure for this "madness" caused by writing that I seemed to possess. I had many fine admirers, but I wasn't interested in that. I wanted nothing more than to be a great author...
Finally, I'd had enough. While Abernathy wasn't watching me, I opened up the window to my room, and escaped that way. Under the cover of darkness, I ran until I reached the nearby river.
"Riverlenn...how fitting my name is, for the fate I've chosen. If only my writing tools hadn't been confiscated...I'd have written such a lovely suicide note." I remember murmuring that to myself with a sarcastic smile, before diving in and letting the currents overtake me. Much to my surprise, before I could lose all life, someone pulled me out of those cold waters. Will.
"But...I thought...you were dead...a...a ghost." I sputtered and coughed while regaining myself. Will knelt at my side the whole time.
"I am. However, I've formed a bond with you, my dear. My pure will...through my will alone, I was able to grasp you, as if I were alive once more." Will told me with a kind smile.
"Through your own will, huh...? How funny, "Will"...I...appreciate it...but...I can't return home. I don't want this life that is being imposed on me. I have to do something to change this, or I have to die. That is simply how it is." I was dead set on doing whatever I cold to defy my father's wishes of me.
Right then, I saw something out of the corner of my eye. A frog...hopping on the opposite side of the river. I swear then, this frog looked straight at me. I had an idea. A brilliant one, which showed through the bright smile on my face.
"Will...Will! I've had a wonderful idea, Will! I know what I can do to save myself now." I stood up as if nothing was wrong, even though I was completely soaked. Will stood up with me, looking curious.
"What would that be? Is Myriatte making her grand appearance once more?" He chuckled.
"Something like that..." I giggled.
From there, I didn't return home, but hid at a friend's house. I wrote up a story. No...it was more like a script. I had a plan to get rid of my admirers, and to prove to my father just how much influence my writing could have on people. That...is when I started the Kerokuoni Cult, a cult with a "frog demon" as it's supreme authority. I thought that, by making everyone believe the wild stories I'd made up for the god of such a cult, and displaying such a thing out to everyone, specifically those men, I'd drive them away, and prove just how clever of a writer I was.
...Sadly, it didn't quite work out that way.
I made the cult, and I got my admirers to follow through with me through all the silly rituals enriched by me well-written legends tying back to the fake cult...but, never once did they question a thing. Never. They kept following me, no matter what I said. Eventually...I wrote more on the backstory, and that's when things got violent. We started with animals. I demanded an animal sacrifice. I thought that surely, surely they wouldn't do it....but they did it, no questions asked. First it was a rabbit, then a dog, then a goat, and eventually, even a horse. I thought there was only one card left to play...so I did. I demanded a human sacrifice next. I knew that had to be it, and that they'd never do it.
...B-but...they murdered a village girl, right in front of my feet, as an offering. I was shocked. Something inside of my mind snapped. I became...different. I started to enjoy the power of controlling and determining the fates of the living in Negloria Town. I enjoyed it while I could, though I knew that the final purpose for this cult was soon to be fulfilled. I was to get rid of all of my admirers, right?
...But now, I'd rewritten everything. Now, I got rid of them, not by driving them away...but by requesting their hands, and demanding them all as a grand and final sacrifice.
I was discovered under the full moon in the Kerokuoni Cult hideout. Blood covered my robe like red flowers, blooming everywhere about me. Everyone was dead at my feet, and a knife was clutched in my left hand. I remember cackling like a madwoman when the authorities rushed me. I didn't attack them. I was through. I'd finished my mission.
The next day, in the afternoon sun, I was shown off to everyone in town on a stand. My wits had returned to me again, but I still smiled so sweetly at everyone, no matter how disapproving or fearful their faces were of me. A rope was placed around my neck.
"Maryanne Rivelenn, you have been found guilty in the crime of murdering many innocent people, and are certain to rot in Hell as soon as you leave us here in a few moments. Do you have anything you'd wish to say before leaving?" The town official next to me seemed so angry...but I only laughed.
"Yes..." I looked out into the crowd, and locked eyes with Will, who stood at the front with a mortified, miserable expression. "...Will, look. I did it. I made a story that impacted everyone's lives! I made a difference...with my writing, I made a difference!" I was aware of the tears that began streaking down my face as I continued to watch Will's own horrified face. "I'm...finally a writer now, aren't I?...Guess I always was...but...hey, Will...how did you like it? My story...so far...? I-AH!" I let out a small cry of surprise when the ground beneath me disappeared, and the lynching commenced.
Will was silent, stricken with horrid grief. He took off his top hat and clutched it in his hands. I felt horrible, having him watch me fade away like that. I could only hope...that maybe I could become a ghost like him, with him, and we could continue being such good friends...
....But, then...something roared up inside of my very soul, and pinpricks of pain spread through every vein of my body. I felt the madness creeping in at an alarming rate. I couldn't stop it. Suddenly, I was laughing in the faces of terrified townsfolk, the very ones who had used to care so much for me, dead, but also not. I had become the great demon goddess of my own written creation.
"Don't worry...the story isn't over yet!" That's the last thing I can recall myself saying before finding myself surrounded by corpses once more. I'd taken out all who hadn't managed to flee the scene of the lynching in time. I was truly a demon. My changed skin and claws at that time...they proved it to me.
Will had watched in horror the whole time. I walked up to him, and he just looked so...sad. I swear, there were even...ghostly tears upon his face.
"I'm...sorry, Will...you shouldn't have had to see that...but...the fact that you haven't left me....oh, you're such a good friend." I hugged him, and I was happy to actually be able to feel him. We were both dead now, so there wasn't that issue anymore, it seemed...
"Myriatte...why...?" Will asked me quietly.
"I...don't...know...." I remember biting my lip, thinking as if I were struggling against another force. Whatever it was...it ended up winning. I ended the confrontation with a crazy grin and laugh.
"I must go now...my cult members need me, Will!"

"....Ever since then, I've traveled the world of the living as myself...but under a curse." Myriatte finally draws her tale to a close, using her sleeves to wipe away the tears that has been conjured up during the retelling of the story. "I...I know it's not long, now. Before I lose my wits again. I'll probably still try to attack you all, despite all of this...I'm...sorry..."
Minako is almost at a loss for words after hearing the tale. She thinks for a moment, then, finally, while she has the chance, she asks, "Myriatte...I guess I know...that you're here in this place because of Abernathy...but...what connection do you share with it? Someone like you...you must know something about what happened to the people of Negloria Town, and why all of the ghosts are trapped in this mansion."
"...Someone I've always chased after in my maddened state...is Negloria." Myriatte answers. "...I've always tried to sacrifice her to myself, it seems...and there must be some kind of reason for that....t-there must be...why her, and not anyone else...?"

Ellysa frowns at the scene a bit, looking almost disappointed that she won't get to ride upon this magnificent new steed and save the day for everyone, like a true warrior. She glances down at Fred, unsure of how to handle this situation. But then...a voice sounds out near them, up the pathway leading to the mansion's front doors.
"Oh, what do we have here? Such a nice little place...and there's people here?"
Ellysa turns her head, and catches a glimpse of the little black cat creature on two legs, walking calmly up to the place. It only takes that glance, the sight of that one blue eye, that knife, those wings, and all of that blood...
"RUN." Ellysa tells Fred. "RUN. We need to RUN. NOW. N-normally, a warrior would never flee, unless the situation was of certain death...b-but, this...this very well could be!"
Amaiyo watches the other angel on the yard for a moment, but never stops her stride towards Lavenshade Mansion's front doors. She grins and waves at Ellysa. "Hello there, fellow angel~!"
"G-GAH! She's spotted us!" Ellysa continues to panic.
"Hm...?" Amaiyo finds the other angel's behavior a bit odd. "What...is she scared of me? Aw...tch, every time, I swear..." The little cat in the dress sighs sadly.

"They took you away, and I did nothing to prevent that! How could you...how can you still even bother to protect me, the way you do...?" Yolani begins to sob, falling on her knees in front of the little girl. Negloria watches her older sister for a long, painful while...then slowly walks up to her, and embraces her.
"....It's okay....Yoli...It's not your fault..." Negloria whispers.
"N-Neggie..." Yolani weeps.

As Myriatte's story unfolds, Makoto decides it would be best to call off Rakshasa for the time being, allowing it to disappear. Now, listening to the tragedy that is Maryanne's story, the boy seems to keep up a calm, collected facade, seeming unaffected by the information being shared. Then, after listening to Minako's exchange of words with her, he allows all of the details to sink in, organizing themselves within his mind. After a brief pause, he finally speaks. "Sadly enough, it is more fortunate for Minako and I when you're Myriatte, for otherwise, we might go berserk again...and I can't guarantee that words will work the next time it happens..however, Maryanne..I promise that somehow, we'll get to the bottom of this..." He says, despite his words being blunt, they have truth behind them.

"Oh...I know that..." Myriatte laughs lightly at Makoto's words. "Makes sense...you seem to be like me. A demon monster lurks within you, and you must struggle with control...I mean, look at me. It's been a few centuries, and I still can't get a hold of myself..."
"He's right. We won't stop our investigations here until we've uncovered the truth, and found a way to free everyone trapped here. Maybe we could find a way to help you also...it just depends on where the path leads." Minako states her agreement with Makoto's last comment.
"You have my respect, regardless....s-so brave you are...for coming here..." Myriatte puts a hand to her face, covering half of it in an attempt to mask the mad grin making it's way back onto her expression.
"I believe it's time you went back to your room, my dear..." Abernathy looks down upon the girl sadly. Myriatte cackles madly for a moment, but furiously shakes her head at the same time.
"Y...Y-yes, Will...I...I should...go...b-before....ehehehe!" She covers her face completely with both hands, tears slipping through the cracks in her fingers while she laughs crazily. She runs off in a hurry, disappearing back inside of the mansion. Abernathy sees her off with a depressed, solemn expression.
"That girl..." Abernathy sighs, shaking his head. "If only..."
"Hello!"
Suddenly, a new, cute little voice it at the group's side. Minako and Abernathy turn to see Amaiyo in front of them. Abernathy is immediately taken aback, backing up a few steps, and looking even paler than his ghostly self already was.
"A-...A-A.....A...." Abernathy is absolutely quaking with fear. Minako looks completely confused.
"Abernathy? What's wrong?" Minako asks.
"I'm sorry. It's my fault..." Amaiyo sighs dejectedly. "Everyone's scared of me..."
"You don't look that scary to me...I mean, there's some blood on you, yeah...but, it's not so bad." Minako replies, and in the background, Abernathy lets out a cry of shock at the oblivious girl, and starts hurriedly making a "NO, STOP" motion with his hands.
"It's because I'm also an Angel of Death. A rather notorious one." Amaiyo continues, looking up at Minako with that one, adorably big blue eye. "But, I promise, I don't actively seek out victims!...I just do what I feel I have to...I'm only here because I saw people, and wanted to have some fun..."
"Well...as long as you aren't seeking out people to murder just for the fun of it, and are sticking with what your job commands, I really don't see the issue." Minako smiles lightly down at the cute little cat angel. "What's your name? I'm Minako."
"I'm Amaiyo, miss!" Amaiyo's one eye glitters with happiness at Minako's words. She reaches out a paw to the human girl. "Let's be friends! Please!"
"Heh, alright then..." Minako shrugs, and bends down the little angel's paw, since she stands at only about 1 foot tall. At that moment, a small beetle lands on Minako's back. She doesn't notice, but little Amaiyo does.
"Oh! Friend, there's a bug on your back! Don't worry! As your friend, I'll get it for you!" Amaiyo grins. Before Minako can say anything else, the angel takes her little knife out of her pocket, and holds it out. Suddenly, it changes into the form of a huge scythe, which curves around Minako's entire body. It Amaiyo were to pull back towards herself sharply, it'd bisect Minako and kill her. Pulling back is exactly what Amaiyo does, but she stops right when the blade touches Minako's back. Minako it still and silent, looking a bit uneasy, and extremely tense. Amaiyo giggles, and shift the blade back into its regular little knife form, holding it up for Minako to see the dead bug's corpse on it, its body bisected instead of hers, thankfully.
"I got it, see?" Amaiyo looks so proud of what she's done. "I'm really a good friend when you get to know me!"
"Y-yeah..." That's really the only reply that Minako can muster up, still a bit surprised at what just happened.
'Guess that's what I get for making friends with anyone around here...' She thinks to herself.

Ellysa jumps off of Fred once they get inside of the mansion, and hurries away to warn others of Amaiyo's appearance. It could mean anything. She could be here to claim a ghostly resident for the underworld, or kill one of the new living people here. Or, she could just be here to 'play'. Ellysa wasn't sure which reason scared her more.
Aimlessly wandering around in one hall of the mansion, Renn has a look of boredom and depression to her. Of course, that's sort of her default expression, as a Despair Demon.
"REEEEEENNNNNNNNNNN!"
Renn is caught by surprise when she spots her angel friend rushing down the hall towards her.
"Ellysa? Ellysa, what's-AH!" Renn cries out in surprise when Ellysa grabs her by the shoulders and shakes her a bit.
"RENN! THE ANGEL OF DEATH IS HERE! AMAIYO! NO ONE IS SAFE ANYMORE!" Ellysa shouts.
"A-Angel of Death....?!" Renn blinks. "W-why...?"
"I DON'T KNOW, THAT'S THE SCARIEST PART, IS THAT I DON'T KNOW!" Ellysa replies. "But, don't fear, Renn! Don't panic! I shall protect you 'til the bitter end!" Ellysa raises her sword in the air.
"...I...think you're panicking more than me...." Renn murmurs quietly.

"HOW DO I KNOW ABOUT THE ANGEL OF DEATH, WELL I DON'T KNOW MAYBYE IT'S BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN A GHOST FOR AT LEAST TEN-THOUSAND YEARS, AND WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN A GHOST THAT LONG YOU KIND OF PICK UP A FEW THINGS ABOUT ANGELS AND DAEMONS, ESPECIALLY THE ONES THAT ARE DANGEROUS. AMAIYO IS ONE OF THE STRONGEST ANGELS OF DEATH AND IF SHE'S HERE THAN STUFF IS GOING TO DIE." Fred screams at the top of her lungs then runs off to find Ellysa, which she does. She runs up to her trips, gets up,sits down next to her, then hugs her knees crying, sobbing, and whimpering.

"Yeah She only looks like that she is an elf and they age differently than us humans, she is actually 3400 years, she's been a ghost for twice that." Lucas says as he follows Fred out of the basement but instead of following her he goes outside.
