Spotting Dick as he came driving up in his car Summer smiled and waved, walking down to meet him. “Nice car. Makes my bicycle look like a joke.” She said as he took her books and she slid into the passenger’s seat. However the question made her fidget slightly. “It was… alright. I don’t think the other girls like me very much… they kept giving me really angry glares in gym… though that may have been because I wasn’t very good at volleyball.” She shrugged slightly; she’d always gotten along better with boys anyway. Girls seemed to be drawn to drama, or else were always very keen to create some where none was needed.
“But I enjoyed it. I was thinking of signing up for some kind of afterschool club thing, apparently they look good on your collage application but I figured it would be a good way to make more friends.” Whether she’d actually be successful in that endeavour or not was still up for debate, but she thought maybe if she found something she was good at people might like her because of it. “I don’t suppose Gotham Academy has a circus troupe?” She laughed. “Maybe a gymnastics team or something like that? I mean it’s been a while since I’ve done gymnastics specifically… but it’s kind of like a bike, you never really forget do you?”
