From within the Senshire Galaxy, the Cryptum civilization was preparing to send an extremely large capital ship named the Elysium through the quantum relay which would send them to the outer reaches of the galaxy. Here, in the uncharted areas of space, they would search for a planet or planets that they could Terraform for colonization or discover new life on. The corporation known as ONYX was funding the whole project after picking up strange readings from the area they were about to explore. Taking no chances, the Elysium was loaded with a large amount of military equipment and highly trained soldiers to help eliminate any threat that may show itself. The countdown timer for mission launch showed four days, and not everyone was excited about the journey. The thought of heading out into uncharted space to chase down a signal from an unknown lifeform made many nervous. Once the ship would launch, the plan was for it to pass through the Orion Relay, a sort of hyperspace travel device that had been created many years ago. The ship would reach it destination in an hour if everything went according to plan. Though as many explorers know, there is always an unwanted price that must be paid for dicovering something of extreme value, and sometimes that is the life of innocents. There are some things in life that are not meant to be discovered or investigated, and space holds many of these.

As the title says, this is a Science fiction / slight horror / adventure / roleplay that I have been working on for a while. Let us get down to business, shall we?
First off, the species in the Roleplay.
Drow: They are the more agile race, and tend to excel in being assassins and the such.
Human: More bulky and tend to be better heavy soldiers.
This does not mean you can only be an assassin as a Drow, or a heavy solider as a human, it is only a suggestion. You can be really anything from a heavy solider, to a sniper, to a medic, engineer, or a mix, it is up to you.
Technology: The technology used by the Cryptum civilization is very advanced. They can travel from star system to star system in a matter of hours with large ships that carry over a thousand people. They have mastered Terraforming which can now be done in a matter of months instead of years. Their military equipment ranges from large mechs, hover tanks, drop pods, gauss cannons, rail guns, plasma weapons, and even elemental tech. Each of their space stations can hold a population of over twenty million and orbit a large number of planets. Each Space Station is a massive construct, similar in shape to a wheel, stretching out over a large distance. Much of the technology used by the Cryptum is classified to civilians, and even to some working in the government. Interplanetary travel is now possible due to large hyperspace relays that act like warmholes, bending space and greatly decreasing travel time.
