At the seemingly valiant entrance of Natsu into the scene with his usual impulsive antics, Eva shook her head in dismay. With the eruption of fire and the possibility of causing even more extreme destruction in their neighbourhood than there already was, Eva thought it was time to break up the fight before she needed to send another soul to the Underground. As much as she did love seeing the world in absolute turmoil, she could see that other civilians were leaving their homes to bear witness to the scene. If she didn't do something soon, death may call of the attention of the other death angels down below, and the last thing she needed was a family reunion. Eva closed her eyes in concentration and she felt her shadow slowly detached from the soles of her feet until it became a new solid being. She turned to the spectre with a sigh. "You mind helping me put a stop to this ridiculous display of power?" she asked defiantly. Without a moment's thought, her shadow hovered swiftly towards the hurtling flames and used itself as a shield. Upon contact with the fire, the shadow seized and jolted, as if it was shrivelling like a leaf drying up, before shooting into the ground. Looking back down at her feet, she found that her shadow had returned to its original place, the flames dissipated.
"Look, sorry, I hate to interrupt," she said, stepping into the middle of the residential battle field and pointed to all their neighbours that had stepped out of their houses. "But it seems you've gathered yourself a bit of an audience. Perhaps we can hold off this little duel for a more suitable venue, if it's still even worth fighting." Eva kept her tone composed in the hopes of a compromise between the two parties.
