Constantine had two apparent options: Either let Jaden go so that he can kill more people, innocent and not, or try and imprison or kill Jaden, meaning that he will murder more people during the arrest. He then chose a third option, which was to walk up to the man and talk to him, his blue eyes metaphorically shining with an intensity that belied a greater purpose than petty conflict.
"Jaden McFadden, I presume?" the blond-haired man said. "My name is Constantine Ramiel King, former leader of the International Heroes and leader of the Reformist Council back when it was a semi-covert movement. But we're not here to talk about ancient history. Rather, I'm here to tell you of a threat to Meta and Normal Human alike, but especially Metas. Same to you, Light and Spectrum."
And with that, he showed all three, and Owlman, a Fleet of Alien Warships, Alien Warships poised to attack Earth. He also showed them the woman who had killed Max Velocity, as well as the object that Ruby had shown Cedric in the recording she had given to gain his trust; these two things were actually foreshadowing of things to come. Once he was done, Constantine said:
"These Aliens have a bone to pick with Earth, and Metahumanity in particular. In fact, these Aliens might have seeded the virus that creates Metahumans into Earth, for unknown reasons, in the first place, with the intention of harvesting Metahumanity. So, I want you all to bring this message to Cedric and Isabella:"
"We may be officially part of the International Heroes, but I and my group are dedicated to defeating the Aliens through any means possible. Our only reason for helping you was to secure Eden who is one of two people, the other being Gia the Forgotten, who can give humanity an edge against SS-class killers. We failed in the latter. Tell Cedric and Isabella, and Ruby if she's listening in, that if they try to interfere with our attempt to awaken Gia, we will fight them without regard for their moral affilation. We will save the world, and all sapient beings on it, and woe to those who stand in our way." Constantine then vanished; he had actually been gone for some time.
After a while, Healing Spore came to regenerate Owlman's wounds...
Jaden
As Constantine spoke, Jaden's face slowly loses it's calm composure, as he hears this man tell him that all of his beliefs, which had been what's keeping his deceptively fragile mind together, was a lie. These powers were not given by God, but by a race of aliens that were coming to destroy the Earth. His mind went back to the early years of dealing with his ability after that first kill. His philosophy had kept him alive, cause deep inside of him, he'd hated every second of what he did. But he could stop the urges, couldn't resist them forever. He had convinced himself that this was just the will of the divine. But as his sanity began to fall apart, a rage, burning with malicious intent formed inside of him.
These had turned him into a monster, they had planted these urges inside of him, and he would get his revenge. He would find therm, he would devour them, he would show them the monster they made, end them all, and do what ever he could to make them burn.
"I'll tell Isabella about this threat, and even if she doesn't agree to help, you can expect me to assist you in anyway possible." Jaden stood up, turning to walk away from the group assembled. "I have a score to settle with these Aliens."
With that, he shifted into a winged monster and launched himself off the ground,, flying high into the sky and into the clouds. He knew already where Isabella was likely to be, Avalon was the fall-back base in case they ever lost New Sun Tower. He already knew the way and began to head there, his mind a festering pit of rage, despair, and slowly fading sanity.
Sebastian
Sebastian chuckled slightly at the weird feeling that came with him snapping back to his body, finding himself on the ground where Lynn had pushed him. Having followed her around when she began moving their bodies, he knew exactly where to find Cassandra. Walking over to the closet, he found it shuddering as the girl tried to bust t down. Sebastian stepped right next to the door, and waited for the right moment in between her attempts before he opened it, causing her to faceplant right into the ground.
"OWWWW!"
Sebastian broke out into a hearty laugh, which was quickly cut short as Cassandra began to shoot little bolts of lightning at him. They were weak and wouldn't do any real damage, but they still hurt like hell. For about twenty minutes, he had to flee from her as she shot at him, crawling after him surprisingly faster in a caterpillar-like motion. But she soon got tired, and that's when Sebastian cut her out of her restraints, still chuckling a little as he did so. He didn't punish the girl or anything, he had deserved it, and besides, it had been pretty fun.
"Well then, come on Cassie." He said as he walked out of the building to wander the city streets, not particularly caring whether or not the movement came to find him. Cassandra followed quickly behind, carrying her backpack and luggage. "We got to explore the city, see if we can find a hotel or something of that nature. I originally planned to go to the Reformists, as they have no idea who I am, but since Lynn has gone and escaped, I'm almost positive that's where she went. So we have to move quick, now that the distraction that is the New Sun Tower is done, authorities maybe coming soon."
And with that, the Psychopath and his new little protege went off down an alley, all smiles and grins as they planned to open a new base of operations.
