Typical. Jake had gone to the trouble of dragging the psycho's fat carcass all the way here and when they get to the door, the human wakes up, seemingly none the worse for wear. As if that wasn't bad enough, the human was now carrying him. Jake hated being touched, let alone carried. This was humiliating. He was far too tired and weak to do much more than grumble about it though. He should have just stayed in the park.
The glass in his body was painful but it was also aggravating. He knew that the second it was removed he would start to heal but at the moment he was still losing blood from the open wounds. At least he was bleeding on Damien. A little inadvertent payback for being OK after Jake had dragged him here for help. The dogs tail wagged briefly at that though.
The way the other man looked at him quickly put a stop to that. It was as though Jake wasn't fit to be here. Just some common street dog. Trash. "I oughtta bite you" Jake thought to himself as the blonde looked him over. Normally he probably would but he was too tired to even try. The pretty boy decided to take Jake to the infirmary after inspecting him. Huh. Maybe biting wasn't the answer to all his problems after all.
