I wouldn't call him bland, he's a great character with a lot of interesting stories and challenges to his morals. He's the ultimate immigrant. Anyway my character would have some differences, and I'm still trying to decide on what second character I am going to go with, I have so many ideas.

If Eden is meant to have a completely unbiased viewpoint then surely he'd see the problems in the Reformists such as Elijah Craigh! Agreed. He should be unbiased, at least to start with. If both sides have to put across their argument and then convince him to join them, it makes for a much more compelling story.

All Cedric wanted was to adopt Eden and have him be playmates with Jackson and Ann, while the Underground Movement want to use Eden's fruits to do 'Deals with the Devil', and Ruby wants revenge on humanity, while 'The Prophets' whom she's allied with are unknown.

It doesn't matter what Cedric wants. People are who they are. Take me for example, I have lost more jobs than anyone I know for not being able to tolerate people who demand respect and kindness without showing me a reason me a reason to give it to them. My parents are the exact opposite, they can shut up and do their jobs while struggle to ignore anything I find... Shall we say unagreeable. Everyone has their personality independent from the people around them.

Willfully killing people to prove a point? Yeah Eli is gone without a doubt.
