Since it is Easter, I haven't been on too much. Only to look at updates and such. Anyway I'll post tomorrow at any rate...

But, um. I would like to formally lodge a complaint. I don't think the building needs to be super special with all these shields and stuff.

I guess not really a compliant. I guess I don't really know what's up with giving the building a bunch of hi-tech stuff.

Agreed. I think everyone but Light should he scared shitless right now. Just by the fact that some dude is charging the front door and winning.

Also there are a bunch of turkeys outside my apartment right now. I'm surprised they made their way this deep into an urban area, but they're cute and everyone is having a fun time playing with them. lol.

The International Heroes HQ is the headquarters of the most powerful and prestigious organization of Heroes on Earth, similar to the Justice League and The Avengers. Not merely that, but since we have politics in the RP, and war is an extension of politics by other means, the IH HQ is a valuable asset and an obviously vulnerable target, especially as it also doubles as a refugee center.

Not merely that, but its also a concentration of Metahumans, Metahumans who might either be attacked by other Metahumans, or be infiltrators/rebels who want to destroy the building from within.

It's also a showcase of what Metahumans can achieve when given a space to explore their abilities, as well as what Normal Humans can do with their natural genius, meaning that it is equipped with the latest equipment. So, basically, a propaganda showcase, a fortress, a refugee center, and a big honking sign for terrorists rolled into one.

I just go with the flow for the most part. Potato will say when Bee is out of line.

And Light Is a bit crazy, she doesn't have much of a concept of fear because nothing can really kill her so far, and so far shes only been trapped in a vacuum so shes pretty much assuming people are stupid when it comes to fighting her.

No, it's just having an answer to things breaks a lot of tension. This is supposed to be the big bad, slaughtering innocents and some of that horrific experience is removed when the building has drop away walls. But other stuff mentioned can add to that tension. Your mention of multiple guards pouring out, loads of experimental weaponry to pack heavy hits... But have that best laid contingency being ruined by an unexpected Meta Power like Patel. Scary.

I also have no idea where to place any of my available characters. I assume Sebastian and Jaden are with all the other UGM troops, but I just can't think of anything. Same thing goes for Damien, No idea where to bring him in that doesn't feel forced.

Yeah, it's been a week so he's good, but I don't want him to go against Patel, because that's an extremely bad match up. PAtel is a tough opponent, and while Damien could keep his distance and hold him back that way, Insomnium would try to bust out to get at Patel, which will end badly since Insomnium is a CQC fighter for the most part. If he had Apocalypse, it'd be no problem, but he won't have that for a while. And I also have a dislike of posting for only one pf my characters in any given RP where I have multiple, just irks me to no end.
