Naruto: Beginning of Glory
Hello, and welcome to my Naruto role-play. This will take place in an alternate universe, meaning that it avoids any canon characters entirely, but the standard countries and villages; I.E Konohagakure, Kumogakure, Sunagakure, Iwagakure and Kirigakure. Otõgakure has never existed, while Amegakure has been created by a, so far, unknown man. The time-line is roughly around the same time Naruto begins, so therefore, no new technological advancements have been made. This role-play will focus on the genin of Konohagakure; their rise, their ups and downs, and their journey into becoming worthwhile shinobi to serve their village. (While this role-play is Konoha focused, those who came from other villages are accepted as long as they have an explanation on how they came to Konoha)
In the world of shinobi and kunoichi, peace has been a staple point in the world's history. Konohagakure, one of the greatest villages to be created, has been one of the headsmen of the worldwide peace, and relationships between said villages have been relatively well. Missions are flowing in at a steady pace for all villages, funding for different events and exams is going well, and the world was generally average...boringly average, some might even say. However, recently, things in the background has been going on, festering just underneath the surface. War. Not all-out, grab-your-armor war that has scarred many a Kages in the past. No...it hasn't gotten that bad...yet. But, even a civilian can see that war is on the horizon, and it's only a matter of time before a village snaps. Clashing and scuffles have been recorded between different teams from differing villages, missing-nin are becoming more rampant, and tensions are high...and no one knows how this was all started. Strangely enough, Amegakure is exempt from the war; no one targets the mysterious village, mainly because they have literally done nothing wrong so far. They do not trade with other villages, nor do they take sides or sign treaties. It's as if they are a ghost village, and the constant raining does nothing to dissuade this fact. Regardless, genin from every village being trained harder for the undeniable war in the future, more dangerous missions are flowing in, and every Kage has decided to take the kiddie gloves off. What role will you take in the upcoming battle? And finally...are you ready to begin your own Glory, and decide your Fate?
- Let's avoid god-modding. We're genin; you won't beat a Jounin.
- Absolutely no canon.
- Jinchuuriki's are accepted, but as these are dangerous times, they are untrusted. They won't see much action outside of their village, and they're basically poor weapons the Kages' plan to use once the invasions and attacks start.
- As a genin, I do not expect to see more than one C-Rank Technique, and even then, it must not be too powerful. Me and my co-GM's will control the jounin, to hopefully keep things going.
- As this is an alternate universe, the Uchiha Massacre did not happen, and other clans that were 'extinct' is still alive. However, for the sake of fairness, no Uchiha OC's.
- Listen patiently if me, or either of my co-GMs [Nero and Axilmeus] tell you something. Also, use the View Raw button to copy the CS's coding.
- Post all pending characters in the OOC. If accepted, I will update the first post of the Character tab with hiders of everyone's characters.

Ice Release (氷遁, Hyōton; Viz "Ice Style") is the combined nature transformation kekkei genkai of the Yuki clan made up techniques that combines wind and water-based chakra to create and manipulate ice, forming it into various structures. When the user releases their chakra, the surrounding vicinity becomes cold enough to cause snow to fall.
