I can get into the airships and mechs thing cause steam powers those things but how does steam power enhance a machinegun to fire 100 rounds in 2 seconds? Remember that the Gatlinggun has been developed one year before the start of the scenario.

Welp thank you for not trying to start one.
The gun is not like the modern guns. These Machine guns are bulky, and the ones that are specialized (The really fast firing ones) are built like cannons, but with an actual gun instead of well, a cannon. The reason why they are so bulky is to fit the steam powered engine. Basically in the back there is some contraption that can move between burning gunpowder or burning blue coal. You load up the blue coal and once you get enough to power it, you switch it to burn gunpowder, which starts to make the gun fire bullets.

Advancing weapons i understand, but 200 bullets a second is practically impossible even by todays standards, which we havent hit yet in this RP.

And my joker avatar and sig are for my love for Heath Ledgers portrayel, not because i have any love for chaos. And it also has nothing to do with the discussion.

First off not 200 bullets a second, second off, the weapon is not that accurate at firing.

Not 200 in 1 second.
It is 100 in 2 seconds.
So 200 in 4 seconds.

For reference, the fastest firing gun today is the Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-6-23 Gatling-type machine gun with an RPM of around 10,000.

There is a weapon which fires as quick as yours irl, it kinda looks like this: 3000rpm
