Alright...so this post seemed to have nothing to do with what was going on really but I liked it. I wanted there to be a reason that Ser'deni would have interactions with the twins beyond just an occasional instance when she was with Triver, so I was hoping that maybe they could walk in and see this really big change from what they seen yesterday and Triver could introduce them or something. He knows that they probably have some mild fear of what the mages can do so he wanted to fix that by showing them the sides of the mages that he knows.
And maybe the twins this mission would be harder to do since Triver is the opposite of his father. If not I can always edit my post~
I also wanted to kind of show that Inaris is going to play a big part within Triver and Ser'deni's lives, and to the plot. He's really important to them and I have a really good plot idea (that I can share with you) that would be a driving force behind some future plans for Triver and Ser'deni (I can tell you these too.)
Also, I hope I explained the magic a little bit? Pretty much you have to classes of magicians - mages, who are born with natural talents for magic and express them during their childhood, they do not need wands or anything in order to use magic and then you have warlocks who are regular people who manipulate their life force (what magic comes from) through the use of some sort of object like a wand or anything really.
On another note regarding the relationships between Inaris, Triver and Ser'deni.
Triver did have homosexual feelings for Inaris. Triver is bisexual (He might drunkenly hit on Daelyn a few times~). And at one point Ser'deni and Inaris had a physical relationship that Triver found out about.
