Ooooh. Colorful.
"-No mortal should and will stand a chance in a fight" No mortal should stand a chance against a Medium-Powered character, to be honest.
Also, I feel like there is this large gap of power between your definition of Medium and High Powered individuals. I'm also pretty sure Ultra is typically labeled above High in most characters I've seen, High being that gap you seem to have jumped over. High-powered characters, for me is the fun zone. Much more creativity in power, more loose, and typically where a lot of characters that participate in these tournaments are at. But, they aren't insanely powered either with every power under the sun and capable of destroying universes with a glance. I think High powered might be able to destroy a planet with some elbow grease involved, but not a typical thing to happen either.
Well fine then... here is my definition of a high-power champion(/character,but champion sounds so much cooler and arena-y.)
HIGH POWER:
-Basically all of his/her attacks have some sort of power attached to it.
-A low power character would have an extremely difficult fight.
in summary every fantasy MMO character at Max level.
- If they are not magic, they probably have really powerful enchanted armor or extremely advanced technology.
-What I imagine when I listen to power metal and they mention mighty warriors or something.Examples for each level:
no-power:some random roman gladiator.
Low:every sword-and-sorcery,Conan the barbarian type wizard, because they have to plan like days/weeks ahead of time in some ritual to make their spells.
Medium:a super hero like iron-man,or captain america, who have powers/equipment, but they have to be in a group to take on something several times more powerful then they are alone.
High:the typical high-fantasy, practically a demigod wizard who have taken down large beasts. (such as Gandalf.)
Ultra: basically every Important character (both good and evil) in the dragon ball universe. (do I really need to support my reasoning.)
