The Bells tolled just as Edge finished his sentence.
The Sephi walked away with a rude remark. Fortune favoured him it seemed, for on any other day Edge would have struck him down where he stood. The Gulak Palm is a well known sign of sincere intent in most parts, and not to reciprocate the Downward palm was extremely insulting.
Though such thoughts did not pass through Edges mind.
He did not have much time.
Making his way toward the highest tower surrounding the meeting area, he searched the floor. After a few scanning glances Edge picked up the stone that was thrown, a powerful ward - engraved in totemic symbols. A sister stone hung loosely around Edges neck. They were his way on keeping an eye on things.
While the stone in his hand does nothing in particular - apart from make Sephi representatives squeal - the other gives the ability to the wearer to see the world through its sister stone, they had saved Edges skin many times in the past.
With a brisk walk Edge whistled to his companion Kial.
Kial, a large black desert Vulcan - whose 4 foot wings glistened silver as he took off into the sky - replied with a loud and screeching caw. Edge once again sent the stone flying through the air, and continued to walk hastily to the tower as Kial swiped the stone from the sky and glided over to the meeting.
Hopefully his allies were inside already, the kingdoms weren't going to be the only presence at
this party. Once Edge reached the tower he picked the lock, blossoming shadows to his right so as not to be spotted. Once the door snapped open he made his way up and up, all the way to the top.
The fresh air cleared his mind, taking a deep breath - he looked out across the other towers. It seemed his allies were here, and they had brought a few friends.
